10315906 · 2019-06-11 · ·

The disclosed beverage dispensing monitors, systems, and methods help to track, monitor, and analyze data about beverage pours dispensed from one or more beverage dispensing taps. A beverage dispensing system can have monitors attached to one or more of its beverage dispensing taps so that when a beverage is dispensed at one of the monitored taps, the beverage poured is tracked and analyzed for many reasons like tracking inventory levels for supply and loss purposes and user training and accountability. Various data integrity analyzes can be performed and reports can be generated based on the analyzed data included data integrity reports and variance reports. The disclosed systems and methods can interface with a point-of-sale system to reconcile data of inventory and sales transactions.

A system is provided for monitoring a plurality of beverage dispensing machines. A monitoring device associated with each machine includes a sensor for generating data indicative of a product level, machine usage, or machine error. A control computer receives the data, generates a notification (such as an alert, a report, or a servicing schedule) based on the data, and transmits the notification to a mobile computer. The monitoring device may include a signal generator, and a processor configured to control the signal generator to generate a machine reset signal in response to receiving a reset request from a communications network.

BEVERAGE CONTAINER IDENTIFICATION AND DISPENSING CONTROL

A system and method for dispensing beverage from a container, such as wine from a wine bottle. An identification element may be secured to a beverage container and include a tag and optically readable code that uniquely identify the container. A dispenser may dispense beverage from a container, and be able to read the tag of the identification element. Information regarding characteristics of beverage in the beverage container may be associated with a corresponding identification element and include a brand, type, vintage or volume of beverage in the container.

ANALYSIS OF CONTENT DISPENSE EVENTS AND CORRESPONDING TRANSACTIONS

An event identifier is received. The event identifier identifies an amount of content dispensed from a container detected using a sensor device that includes a transmitter configured to transmit an interrogation signal and a receiver configured to receive the interrogation signal that has been reflected within the container. A transaction identifier of a transaction associated with quantities of different component ingredient items is received. The amount of content dispensed from the container is automatically correlated with the transaction at least in part by matching the amount of content dispensed from the container with at least one of the component ingredient items associated with the transaction.

BEAM FOCUSER

A sensor device includes a transmitter located in a container cover that is configured to engage an opening of a container. The sensor device includes a propagation chamber with a first opening configured to receive a signal emitted by the transmitter and guide the signal out of the propagation chamber via a second opening. Cross-sections of the propagation chamber vary along at least a portion of a length of the propagation chamber and the propagation chamber includes one or more transitions where a rate of change of a property of the propagation chamber changes. The sensor device includes a signal processor included in the container cover and configured to use data associated with a reflection of the emitted signal to determine an identifier of a content fill level of the container.
