An optical device includes an elastic support portion which includes a torsion bar extending in a second direction perpendicular to a first direction and a nonlinearity relaxation spring connected between the torsion bar and a movable portion. The nonlinearity relaxation spring is configured so that a deformation amount of the nonlinearity relaxation spring around the second direction is smaller than a deformation amount of the torsion bar around the second direction and a deformation amount of the nonlinearity relaxation spring in a third direction perpendicular to the first direction and the second direction is larger than a deformation amount of the torsion bar in the third direction while the movable portion moves in the first direction. A first comb finger of a first comb electrode and a second comb finger of a second comb electrode which are adjacent to each other face each other in the second direction.
OPTICAL DEVICE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
An optical device includes: a base; a movable portion including an optical function portion; an elastic support portion supporting the movable portion so that the movable portion is movable along a first direction; a first comb electrode provided to the base and including a plurality of first comb fingers; and a second comb electrode including a plurality of second comb fingers. The elastic support portion includes a torsion bar extending along a second direction perpendicular to the first direction and a lever. The second comb electrode is provided to a portion of at least one of the movable portion and the elastic support portion, the portion being located on the optical function portion side with respect to the torsion bar. The first comb finger and the second comb finger adjacent to each other face each other in a direction in which the movable portion has higher external force resistance, of the second direction and a third direction perpendicular to the first direction and the second direction.
WATERPROOF MEMS BUTTON DEVICE, INPUT DEVICE COMPRISING THE MEMS BUTTON DEVICE AND ELECTRONIC APPARATUS
A button device includes a MEMS sensor having a MEMS strain detection structure and a deformable substrate configured to undergo deformation under the action of an external force. The MEMS strain detection structure includes a mobile element carried by the deformable substrate via at least a first and a second anchorage, the latter fixed with respect to the deformable substrate and configured to displace and generate a deformation force on the mobile element in the presence of the external force; and stator elements capacitively coupled to the mobile element. The deformation of the mobile element causes a capacitance variation between the mobile element and the stator elements. Furthermore, the MEMS sensor is configured to generate detection signals correlated to the capacitance variation.
OPTICAL DEVICE
An optical device includes: a base that includes a main surface; a movable unit that includes an optical function unit; and an elastic support unit that is connected between the base and the movable unit, and supports the movable unit so that the movable unit is movable along a first direction perpendicular to the main surface. The elastic support unit includes a lever, a first torsion support portion that extends along a second direction perpendicular to the first direction and is connected between the lever and the movable unit, and a second torsion support portion that extends along the second direction and is connected between the lever and the base. A torsional spring constant of the first torsion support portion is greater than a torsional spring constant of the second torsion support portion.
MEMS Micromirror and MEMS Optical Switch
A MEMS micromirror includes a mirror surface driving structure which is positioned on a substrate and includes two L-shaped structures in head-to-tail arrangement. Each L-shaped structure includes a second torsion beam, an L-shaped transverse plate and a second comb-shaped structure. The first driving electrode is provided on the substrate at a position under a head end of the L-shaped transverse plate, the head end of the L-shaped transverse plate is rotatable with support of the second torsion beam, and a tail end of the L-shaped transverse plate is connected with the second comb-shaped structure. The micromirror surface layer is disposed above the mirror surface driving structure, the first torsion beam is fixed by the substrate and supports two sides of the micromirror surface layer, and two sides, corresponding to the second comb-shaped structures, of the micromirror surface layer are provided with first comb-shaped structures, respectively.
MEMS micromirror and MEMS optical switch
A MEMS micromirror includes a mirror surface driving structure which is positioned on a substrate and includes two L-shaped structures in head-to-tail arrangement. Each L-shaped structure includes a second torsion beam, an L-shaped transverse plate and a second comb-shaped structure. According to one embodiment, a sensor includes a base body, a first structure body, and a second structure body. The first structure body includes a first fixed portion, a first conductive portion, and first electrodes. The first fixed portion is fixed to the base body. The first conductive portion is held by the first fixed portion. The first conductive portion is separated from the base body in a first direction. The first electrodes are held by the first conductive portion. A distance between the base body and the first electrodes is changeable. The second structure body includes a second conductive portion and second electrodes. The second conductive portion is fixed to the base body. The second electrodes are held by the second conductive portion. One of the second electrodes is between the one of the first electrodes and the other one of the first electrodes.

A mirror device includes a frame body, a shaft member provided inside the frame body and connected to the frame body at both end portions, and a reflection member fixed to the shaft member and provided so as to be capable of swinging around an axis of the shaft member. The reflection member has a base portion provided along an axial direction of the shaft member and a reflection portion provided on the base portion. The base portion has a three-dimensional uneven structure including a bottom wall portion having a main surface provided along the axial direction of the shaft member and a plurality of side wall portions extending from the bottom wall portion on the side opposite to the reflection portion.

A light deflector includes a stationary part; a movable unit having a reflecting surface; a connecting part between the movable unit and the stationary part; a drive unit disposed on a first surface of the connecting part, the drive unit configured to deform the connecting part to oscillate the movable unit; and a rib disposed on a second surface of the connecting part, the second surface being an opposite surface of the first surface. The rib includes a portion whose longitudinal direction is orthogonal to a direction at which the connecting part is bent.
