Filter device for fluids
A filter device for fluids has a filter housing (1), in which element receptacles (31) for a plurality of filter elements (33) are provided. The filter medium (35) of the filter elements (33) separates in the filter housing (1) a dirt side (5) from a clean side (7). The filter housing (1) can be opened for inserting and removing the filter elements (33). For the filter elements (33), a support basket (19) is provided, which can be inserted into the filter housing (1) and removed from the filter housing (1) and to which the filter elements (33) can be detachably fixed. The filter elements (33) have, in addition to the filter medium (35) for particle filtration, an adsorption medium (36).
Foldable oil filter unit
The present invention provides a foldable oil filter unit that a drain pin thereof can be easily separated. The foldable oil filter includes a cap receiving a filter; a drain pin disposed on a bottom side of the filter; and a capturing part disposed on a bottom side of the filter and detachably, rotatably capturing the drain pin.
Indexed filter element for spin on rechargeable filter and related method of use
A rechargeable spin-on filter includes a cover, a housing threadably joined with the housing, and a filter element that can be removed and replaced with another filter element relative thereto. The cover and/or housing can be plastic. The cover can include a bottom plate having inlet ports and an outlet port. The filter element can include an end cap defining a perimeter about an inner dimension, such as an inner diameter. The cap can define a groove to receive a rib of a support tube over which the element is installed. Alignment of the rib and groove can index and register the element with the support tube. A related method is provided.

Filtration device
A protruding portion is formed on an inner tube inserted into a hollow portion of a filter medium so as to protrude upward from a flange portion. The flange portion having a substantially circular plate shape is disposed on a lower side of a second plate. A recessed portion into which the protruding portion is inserted is formed on a surface on a lower side of the second plate provided so as to cover an opening at a lower end of the filter medium.
WATER SEPARATING SCREEN FOR A FILTER ELEMENT IN A LIQUID FILTER
A water separating screen for a filter element in a liquid filter, the water separating screen including: a screen fabric having end faces; and a fabric carrier; a screen fabric arranged on the fabric carrier and encircling a longitudinal axis, the screen fabric having axial end faces, the longitudinal axis defining an axial direction; wherein the fabric carrier in an area between the end faces exclusively has longitudinal struts, which at least substantially extend in the direction of the longitudinal axis and which are elastic in a radial direction.

OIL FILTER HOUSING
An engine includes a filter housing with a base and a housing cover that contain a filter cartridge. The base defining a central recess, and having an annular sump extending downwardly from the central recess. An inwardly facing cylindrical sealing surface partially defining the annular sump, a drainage port defined in the cylindrical sealing surface and extending radially outward therefrom. The housing cover with a closed upper end and a downwardly extending annular wall sized to extend into the sump, the annular wall having a pair of seals that, when the housing cover is fully seated with the base provides a seal above the drainage port and a seal below the drainage port, the pair of seals precluding entry of oil into the drainage port when the housing cover is fully seated; whereby when the housing cover is raised upwardly, the lower seal is raised above the drainage port and oil in the filter housing drains out the drainage port.
Spin-on filter cartridge which can be easily disassembled to allow the replacement of a filter unit included therein
A spin-on filter cartridge includes a flange with peripheral holes for entrance, and a middle hole for exit. The cartridge includes a container with a cylindrical side wall having a base at a first end, and an opening at a second end. The flange reversibly occludes the opening. The container reversibly connects to the flange by a bayonet. The cartridge includes a filter unit including a cylindrical side wall having a base at a first end, and an opening at a second end. The bases oppose each other, the filter unit opening opposing the flange. The filter unit rotates integrally with the container. A spring between the bases pushes the filter unit towards the flange, the filter unit dividing the space into a first compartment, outside the filter unit, accessible by peripheral holes of the flange, and a second compartment, inside the filter unit, accessible by the middle hole.
