SIEVE BED ASSEMBLY WITH AN IDENTIFICATION DEVICE
A sieve bed assembly monitoring system is disclosed. The system includes a sieve bed assembly including a canister having an intake; adsorbent material to produce oxygen enriched air from compressed air in a swing adsorption process; and an identification device including identification data for the sieve bed assembly, wherein the identification data is capable of uniquely identifying the sieve bed assembly. The system includes an oxygen concentrator having a retention mechanism to retain the sieve bed assembly, a compressor supplying compressed air to the intake of the canister, a controller, a transceiver and a reader operable to read the identification data from the identification device. The controller reads the identification data and transmits the read identification data via the transceiver. A remote external device receives the read identification data from transceiver.
Siloxane mitigation in machine system having blower for pressure drop compensation
A siloxane mitigation system for a machine system having an internal combustion engine includes a siloxane trap having a plurality of adsorbent cartridges fluidly in parallel with one another, an air precleaner fluidly connected to a trap housing inlet, and a blower structured to blow intake air to the siloxane trap to compensate for a pressure drop across the siloxane trap. A trap performance sensor of the siloxane mitigation system is structured for monitoring an exhaust pressure to indicate performance degradation of the siloxane mitigation system and activate an operator-perceptible alert.
OXYGEN TANK WITH IMPROVED OXYGEN STORAGE
A tank for accumulating oxygen enriched air from an oxygen concentration device is disclosed. The oxygen concentration device includes a canister including a nitrogen-adsorbent material. A compressor is coupled to the canister. The compressor compresses air for the canister to produce oxygen enriched air in a swing adsorption process. The tank includes a closed container for collecting oxygen enriched air produced in the canister. An inlet is coupled to the container. An outlet in the container allows a patient to inhale the collected oxygen enriched air. An adsorbent material within the container adsorbs oxygen enriched air added to the tank from the canister.
Low emission adsorbent and canister system
The present description provides low DBL bleed emission performance properties that allows the design of evaporative fuel emission control systems that are simpler and more compact than those possible by prior art by inclusion of a vent-side volume comprising a parallel passage adsorbent such as a carbon honeycomb with narrow channel width and low cell pitch.
Sorbent devices
Sorbent material sheets provide for enhanced performance in vapor adsorbing applications over conventional canisters and other emissions control equipment. The sorbent material sheets can be formed as part of a small, lightweight canister, or can be integrated into a fuel tank. The sorbent material sheets can also be used as part of an onboard refueling vapor recovery system to control volatile organic compound emissions from fuel tanks of gasoline vehicles, such as automobiles.
Canister
A canister that adsorbs and desorbs an evaporated fuel generated in a fuel tank of a vehicle includes an outer case, an inner case, a connecting port, and a sealing member. The inner case has a cylindrical shape. The inner case is fitted into the outer case. The inner case is filled therein with an adsorbent in a granular form. The inner case includes a first end and a second end. The connecting port connects an inside and an outside of the outer case to each other. The sealing member is provided to the second end of the inner case located opposite to the first end leading to the connecting port. The sealing member seals a gap between the outer case and a joining portion of the inner case. The joining portion joins the inner case to the outer case.
DRY GAS SCRUBBER
A dry gas scrubber is disclosed. The dry gas scrubber is for treatment of an effluent stream and comprises: a chamber having an inlet for receiving the effluent stream, a cooler coupled with the inlet and configured to cool the effluent stream, and a resin chamber downstream of the cooler and configured to receive the effluent stream for treatment. In this way, the cooler is interposed between the process tool and the resin chamber and operates to cool the effluent stream prior to its being delivered to the resin chamber. Cooling the effluent stream in this way helps to improve the performance of the resin, even when the effluent stream is at an elevated temperature.
AIR PURIFICATION SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR VACUUM CLEANERS
Disclosed are devices, systems and methods for air purification in an airflow tract of vacuum cleaners. In some aspects, an air purification system for a vacuum cleaner comprises an ultraviolet (UV) light unit disposed in a first location within the vacuum cleaner along an airflow pathway, configured to emit UV light at air containing particles including dust, dirt, and microbes while the air containing the particles is flowing in the airflow pathway where the UV light unit is disposed; and a particle filter unit disposed in a second location within the vacuum cleaner along the airflow pathway, the particle filter unit comprising one or both of a high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filter and an active carbon filter.
MULTI-FUNCTIONAL AIR PURIFICATION FILTER AND PURIFICATION DEVICE INCLUDING THE SAME
A multi-functional air purification filter includes: a breathable support layer; a mesh layer provided on the breathable support layer; and a filter layer provided on the mesh layer, wherein at least a portion of the multi-functional air purification filter has a plurality of bends, and the mesh layer includes a coating layer of at least one of a photocatalytic material, an adsorption material, or a sterilizing material.
NOISE ATTENUATING FUEL TRAP FOR EVAPORATIVE EMISSION CONTROL CANISTER SYSTEM
A fuel vapor storage canister including an integral fuel trap is provided. The fuel trap includes bifurcated chambers with the dual purpose of trapping liquid trace and attenuating noise entering the canister shell and tank line. The upper chamber includes a baffle to block and collect liquid trace, the liquid trace falling through an opening in a partition for collection in a fuel trace collector. The fuel trace collector is suitably positioned within the lower chamber, immediately beneath the opening, and includes a cavity and a venturi. The venturi creates a region of low pressure during purging, which evacuates the cavity by suction. The cavity optionally includes an activated carbon billet, which maintains the pressure level in the fuel vapor line above a predetermined minimum value and which aids in converting the liquid trace to fuel vapor as well as in further attenuating noise escaping into the tank line.
