BOIL-OFF MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
A boil-off management system for a cryotank includes a boil-off conduit which is fluidically connectable to a cryotank via a boil-off valve. The boil-off management system further includes an air feed conduit and a mixing chamber for mixing a first medium (e.g., hydrogen) flowing in through the boil-off conduit with a second medium (e.g., air and/or oxygen) flowing in through the air feed conduit. A catalytic converter is arranged downstream of the mixing chamber and an outlet downstream of the catalytic converter. At least one enrichment apparatus is provided and configured to temporarily increase the proportion of the first medium flowing in through the boil-off conduit in relation to the second medium flowing in through the air feed conduit at the catalytic converter.
Methods for extracting and recycling ammonia from MOCVD process exhaust gas by FTrPSA
The present invention discloses methods for extracting and recycling ammonia in MOCVD processes by FTrPSA. Through pretreatment, medium-shallow temperature PSA concentration, condensation and freezing, liquid ammonia vaporization, PSA ammonia extraction, and ammonia gas purification procedures, ammonia-containing exhaust gases from MOCVD processes are purified to meet the electronic-level ammonia gas standard required by the MOCVD processes, so as to implement recycling and reuse of the exhaust gases, where the ammonia gas yield is greater than or equal to 70-85%. The present invention solves the technical problem that atmospheric-pressure or low-pressure ammonia-containing exhaust gases in MOCVD processes cannot be returned to the MOCVD processes for use after being recycled, and fills the gap in green and circular economy development of the LED industry.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PRE-PURIFICATION OF A FEED GAS STREAM
A system and method of pre-purification of a feed gas stream is provided that is particularly suitable for pre-purification of a feed air stream in cryogenic air separation unit. The disclosed pre-purification systems and methods are configured to remove substantially all of the hydrogen, carbon monoxide, water, and carbon dioxide impurities from a feed air stream and is particularly suitable for use in a high purity or ultra-high purity nitrogen plant. The pre-purification systems and methods preferably employ two or more separate layers of hopcalite catalyst with the successive layers of the hopcalite separated by a zeolite adsorbent layer that removes water and carbon dioxide produced in the hopcalite layers. The separate layers of hopcalite catalyst preferably have different volumes and/or different average particle sizes of the hopcalite materials.

On the porous (photo)cathode side of the first reactor there is a fluid inlet able to carry carbon dioxide, air and water, and on the side of the porous (photo)cathode of the second reactor there is a fluid outlet able to carry carbon dioxide and water.
Method for the photocatalytic reduction of CO.SUB.2 .using a microporous crystalline metal sulfide photocatalyst
The invention describes a process for the photocatalytic reduction of carbon dioxide carried out in the liquid phase and/or in the gas phase under irradiation employing a photocatalyst of microporous crystalline metal sulfide type, said process being carried out by bringing a charge containing the CO.sub.2 and at least one sacrificial compound into contact with said photocatalyst, then by irradiating the photocatalyst by at least one irradiation source producing at least one wavelength lower than the bandgap width of said photocatalyst, so as to reduce the CO.sub.2 and to oxidize the sacrificial compound, so as to produce an effluent containing, at least in part, C.sub.1 or more carbon-based molecules other than CO.sub.2.
CEMENT CLINKER PRODUCTION SYSTEM AND CEMENT CLINKER PRODUCTION METHOD
A cement clinker producing system, capable of providing a gas containing a carbon dioxide gas at a high concentration by increasing a carbon dioxide gas concentration for a part of an exhaust gas, includes a cyclone preheater to preheat a cement clinker raw material, a rotary kiln to burn the preheated cement clinker raw material so as to provide cement clinker, a calcination furnace to promote decarbonation of the cement clinker raw material, a clinker cooler to cool the cement clinker, a kiln exhaust-gas discharge passages to discharge an exhaust gas generated in the rotary kiln, a combustion-supporting gas supply device to supply a combustion-supporting gas having a higher oxygen concentration than air, a combustion-supporting gas supply passage to guide the combustion-supporting gas to the calcination furnace, and a calcination furnace exhaust-gas discharge passage to discharge a carbon dioxide gas-containing exhaust gas generated in the calcination furnace.
Efficient and fully automated catalytic direct carbon dioxide capture from air system
An efficient low-energy carbon dioxide removal system comprises an automated air mover equipped with sensing devices to measure flow rate, volume, level, pressure, temperature and concentration. Packing materials and air-liquid distributors are used in a multi-stage catalytic reactor. The multi-stage catalytic reactor processes ambient air and generates pure carbon dioxide gas and generates exhausted gas released to ambient air. In operation, air contacts the base solution in the presence of a catalyst via the air mover, distributor, and packing materials. The air reacts with the base solution thereby generating a base solution having carbon dioxide and generating exhaust (absorption reaction). Next, the exhaust is released from the reactor. Next, a catalyst is added, heat is applied to the base solution having carbon dioxide thereby generating carbon dioxide and generating a base solution without carbon dioxide (desorption reaction).
Fuel tank inerting system and method

A fluid including non-condensable gas is directed from a vapor space in the fuel tank to a suction port of an ejector, and a motive fluid is directed to a motive fluid port of the ejector. The motive fluid and the non-condensable gas fluid are combined in the ejector and are directed from an outlet port of the ejector to the fuel tank. An inert gas is provided to the ejector motive fluid port, or to the second flow path, or to the first flow path.
