Air conditioner
An air conditioner includes a flow path through which air to be humidified flows, an agitating plate group, and a spray nozzle. The agitating plate group is configured by arranging agitating plates in parallel at intervals over an entire cross-section of the flow path. Each of the agitating plates has a plate width adjusted to cause a vortex downstream. The spray nozzle is disposed immediately downstream of the agitating plate group, and sprays water particles in a direction perpendicular to a flow direction of the flow path. The plate width of each of the agitating plates is adjusted to satisfy a range of a Reynolds number causing a Karman vortex within a range of used wind speeds. The air conditioner provides high humidification efficiency and high saturation efficiency.
Removal of atmospheric pollutants from gas, related apparatus, processes and uses thereof
Methods related generally to the removal of atmospheric pollutants from the gas phase, are provided. The methods involve contacting a first stream comprising NO and/or NO.sub.2 with a second stream comprising (ClO.sub.2).sup.0 to provide a third stream comprising NO and NO.sub.2 at a molar ratio of about 1:1; and contacting the third stream with a fourth stream comprising an aqueous metal hydroxide (MOH) solution to convert NO and NO.sub.2 to MNO.sub.2.
Exhaust gas purification system
The present invention provides an exhaust gas purification system. In the exhaust gas purification system, a shower nozzle 20 disperses liquid toward exhaust gas 11 from an upper portion of the exhaust gas 11. The dispersed liquid is mixed with the exhaust gas 11 and thereafter, the liquid accumulates in a tank 30, and odor and oil content are dissolved by action of microorganism included in the liquid in the tank 30. The shower nozzle 20 is connected to an opening 24 horizontally provided in a nozzle pipe 23 connected to a liquid-supply pipe conduit 22. The exhaust gas purification system includes a nozzle 20N directed to a downward dispersing direction of the liquid. The nozzle 20N is placed in the nozzle pipe 23 such that a lower end 20L of the nozzle 20N is located higher than a bottom 25 of an inner wall of a pipe conduit of the nozzle pipe 23. According to this, exhaust gas including odor and oil content is purified.
Mixer arrangement and a method of mixing for after-treatment of exhaust gas
A mixer arrangement for aftertreatment of exhaust gas including a housing configured to form a cavity including a center flow channel in which the exhaust gas flows; and at least one side inlet arrangement configured to allow the exhaust gas to enter the center flow channel from the sides thereof and configured to cause an advancing center flow in the center flow channel and a rotating flow around or on the edges of the center flow in the center flow channel; wherein the at least one side inlet arrangement contains at least a pair of side inlet pipes on the side of the center flow channel.
Mixer arrangement and method for operating a mixer arrangement
A mixer arrangement for an exhaust gas system, having an inlet opening through which an exhaust gas mass flow (A) can be guided, and a mixer for swirling the exhaust gas, which has at least one inflow opening that is fluidically connected to the inlet opening, wherein at least one first portion (A1) of the exhaust gas mass flow (A) can be guided through the mixer via the at least one inflow opening, an injection device by means of which an additive can be injected, and a bypass having at least one throughflow opening which is fluidically connected to the inlet opening and through which a second portion (A2) of the exhaust gas mass flow (A) can be guided past the mixer, there being provided at least one regulating body by means of which a flow cross-section Q in the mixer arrangement can be varied such that a ratio V with (formula I) can be varied.
Apparatus For Mixing An Additive With A Gas Flow
The present invention relates to an apparatus for mixing an additive with a gas flow, in particular for an exhaust gas system of a vehicle having an internal combustion engine, that comprises a mixing chamber which can be flowed through by at least a portion of the gas flow, said mixing chamber having at least one inlet opening through which a main inlet flow of the gas flow flows into the mixing chamber on operation of the apparatus, having at least one metering opening and having at least one outlet opening. The apparatus further comprises a metering device by means of which an additive flow of the additive can be introduced into the mixing chamber through the metering opening, wherein the inlet opening and the metering opening are arranged and formed such that the main inlet flow and the additive flow in substantially opposite directions into the mixing chamber so that the main inlet flow and the additive flow impact one another.
System, apparatus, and method for diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) dosing
Systems, apparatuses, assemblies, and methods for diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) dosing can include a body defining an injector adaptor inlet and an injector adaptor outlet; and an injector mount or interface extending from the body. The injector mount can be between the first and second ends of the injector adaptor. The injector adaptor outlet can define an area greater than an area of the injector adaptor inlet. In a side view of the injector adaptor, at a bottom side of the body, a first straight line can extend along the body from the injector adaptor inlet to the injector adaptor outlet, and at a top side of the body opposite the bottom side, a second straight line can extend along the body from the injector adaptor inlet to the injector adaptor outlet. The second straight line can be at an acute angle relative to the first straight line.
