CARBONATION SYSTEM FOR BEVERAGE MACHINE
20190291064 · 2019-09-26 ·

A carbonation system for a beverage appliance or machine that can include a liquid chamber and a carbonation chamber separated from the liquid chamber by a wall of the carbonation chamber is disclosed herein. In some implementations, the liquid chamber is defined by a liquid tank (e.g., a water tank), and the carbonation chamber is defined by a carbonation tank. The carbonation system can move liquid (e.g., water) from the liquid chamber to the carbonation chamber and introduce carbonating gas (e.g., carbon dioxide) into the carbonation chamber to create a carbonated liquid (e.g., a carbon dioxide water dissolution, such as carbonated water, sparkling water, or seltzer).

Carbonator

A domestic beverage carbonator for carbonating a liquid in a bottle comprising temperature and pressure sensors that communicate with a processor to improve the carbonation process. The device further comprises a CO2 cylinder coupling and a cylinder discharge valve, an exhaust valve, a fill head and a user interface. The user interface further comprises user controls and a graphic display and the fill head has a pressure sensor to sense a pressure in the attached bottle and communicate a pressure signal to the processor and the processor uses the pressure signal to regulate the cylinder valve and the exhaust valve.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR BLENDING LOW SOLUBILITY INGREDIENTS

Systems and methods for blending low solubility ingredients are provided. In one embodiment, a method of blending a low solubility ingredient into a beverage solution includes dissolving the low solubility ingredient in a preselected solvent to provide a first solution. In one embodiment, the preselected solvent is preheated. The method also includes mixing various ingredients from one or more pre-blend batches to form a beverage syrup and mixing the first solution with the beverage syrup to form the beverage solution.

BEVERAGE SUPPLYING APPARATUS

Provided is a gas dissolving device capable of dissolving gas in a liquid in a supersaturated state and maintaining such a saturated state in a stable manner, and being easily attached to a water server or the like. The gas dissolving device generates hydrogen water by dissolving hydrogen in water, and discharges the hydrogen water from an outlet. The gas dissolving device includes a dissolving chamber that stores under pressure generated hydrogen water introduced therein, and pressure reduction and transfer means for preventing pressure variation in a tube-shaped passage that connects the dissolving tank and the outlet due to an action of discharging the hydrogen water from the outlet, and for forming a laminar flow.

Pneumatically operated valve for carbonation machine

A carbonation machine includes a pneumatic chamber with a movable wall. The wall moves outward to depress a pin of a gas release valve of a gas canister that is held in a canister holder of the machine when air pressure in the chamber is increased. An air release valve is closable to retain air in the chamber. An air pump is operable to pump air from the ambient atmosphere into the chamber so as to increase air pressure in the chamber. A controller is configured to close the air release valve and to operate the air pump to increase the air pressure in the chamber to move the movable wall outward to open the gas release valve of the canister to cause release of gas from the canister to carbonate a liquid, and to open the air release valve to enable the gas release valve to close.

A module for continuously generating high-level carbonated water according to an embodiment relates to a module for continuously generating high-level carbonated water for continuously dispensing high-level water in a direct water type. The module includes: a mixing container part in which water W and carbon dioxide are mixed to generate the carbonated water; a micro water jet unit that generates a plunging jet in a direction of gravity with respect to a surface of water filled in the mixing container part; a carbonic acid gas supply unit that injects carbon dioxide gas from a lower side of the mixing container part to form a high-pressure carbonic acid gas layer in an opposite direction of gravity by buoyancy; and a carbonated water outlet unit that increases a dispersion of carbonic acid gas bubbles due to a turbulent flow formed by the micro water jet unit and the carbonic acid gas supply unit in the mixing container part to dispense the carbonated water to a lower portion of the mixing container part while the carbonated water dissolved instantaneously keeps a carbonation pressure of 3.5 or more, in which the micro water jet unit or the carbonic acid gas supply unit includes a member for an inner diameter shaft pipe for reducing an inner diameter of a first pipe part so that a microinjection port is formed in the first pipe part.

Fixed systems and method for extinguishing large scale industrial tank fires, with and without fixed roofs, and featuring aerated foam projecting nozzles and including fixed center directed nozzles.

Beverage carbonation system flow control

Various illustrative systems, devices, and methods of beverage carbonation system flow control are provided. A carbonation system is one example of a treatment system to which the systems, devices, and methods described herein apply. In general, a carbonation system is configured to form a carbonated fluid and dispense the carbonated fluid in a controlled manner. In an illustrative embodiment, the carbonation system is configured to begin dispensing the carbonated fluid with a pressure in a chamber of the carbonation system, in which the carbonated fluid is formed, being above atmospheric pressure. A gas is introduced into the chamber after dispensing has already started via the pressure in the chamber to drive the flow of the carbonated fluid. The gas can be introduced into the chamber according to a predetermined pressure profile.
