A caulking tube assembly is provided having a cap and an auger component, and the auger component has an auger engagement head portion and a helical or spiral portion that is compressible and sized to be fitted in a tube for holding caulk. The auger engagement head has a shaft housing sized to receive a mixing shaft therein. A coloring agent is added to the caulk in the tube and the auger component mixes the caulk and coloring agent to produce a tube of colored caulk. The caulk is thus colored to satisfy the requirements of virtually any application and dispensed from a caulking gun. In another preferred embodiment there is a caulking tube assembly with having a closed cap and a mixing component having a shaft engagement portion and a shaftless auger portion. The caulking tube assembly can also be used to mix epoxy.

Systems and methods for preparing construction material mixtures. A container can include a flexible body having an interior for receiving and holding construction material mixture components to be mixed. The construction material mixture components can be mixed in the interior by rotating a mixing tool. The flexible body is collapsible for forcing the construction material mixture out of a mouth of the container. The flexible body can be everted to facilitate cleaning the interior of the flexible body. The system can also include a stand, a mixing tool, a funnel, and/or a measuring cup.

MOTORIZED SURGICAL TOOL WITH SENSOR ASSEMBLY IN THE HANDLE FOR MONITORING THE ROTATIONAL ORIENTATION OF THE MOTOR ROTOR
20170128082 · 2017-05-11 ·

A powered surgical tool that includes a housing with a head and a handle that extends from the head. An electric motor is disposed in the head. A trigger extends from the handle. There is a void space in the handle. A plate separates the motor from the handle. Internal to the handle void space there is a rotor sensor and a control circuit. The rotor sensor is able to monitor the magnetic fields emitted by the motor rotor and that pass through the plate. The control circuit receives signals from the rotor sensor representative of the rotational orientation of the rotor and is further able to monitor the actuation of the trigger. Based on the rotor orientation signals and the actuation of the trigger, the control circuit generates signals that result in the selective generation of power signals to the motor rotor.

QUICK DISCONNECT FOR INTERMEDIATE BULK CONTAINER

One or more techniques and/or systems are disclosed for a mixing assembly. The mixing assembly includes a rigid shaft; an end connection component coupled to a first end of the rigid shaft; and a start connection component coupled to a second end of the rigid shaft opposite to the first end of the rigid shaft. Further, a motor drive is coupled to the start connection component and configured to rotate the start connection component, the rigid shaft, and the end connection component. A collar is arranged between the start connection component and the motor drive. A connector is arranged between the collar and the start connection component. The connector includes threads configured to threadably attach to an opening in an intermediate bulk container for mixing a liquid housed therein.

Drill attachment

A drill assembly attachment having a handle, a drill mount, and a throttle. The throttle may have a first portion and a second portion rotationally engaged with the first portion such that the second portion is rotationally actuated in response to linear actuation of the first portion of the throttle. The throttle is positioned with respect to the drill mount and the handle such that the first portion may be linearly actuated by a user with a hand grasping the handle. The drill assembly attachment receives a drill assembly such that the throttle adjustably engages a trigger of the drill assembly. The drill assembly attachment or the drill assembly receives an auger or other tool and the drill assembly attachment with the drill assembly and auger or other tool is used in a method of rotating the auger or other tool.

Control module for a motorized surgical tool, the module including a trigger sensor, a motor rotor sensor and a control circuit that are sealed from the ambient environment
09559624 · 2017-01-31 · ·

A control module for a motorized powered surgical tool. The module includes a trigger sensor, a motor rotor position sensor and control circuit. The trigger sensor and motor rotor position sensor output their signals by monitoring magnetic fields associated with, respectively the trigger and the motor rotor. Based on signals from the trigger sensor and the motor rotor position sensor, the control circuit selectively applies energization signals to the windings of the motor. The module includes a shell that separates the trigger sensor, the motor rotor position sensor and the control circuit from the motor. The shell is formed from material that both shields the components within the shell from affects of the ambient environment and that allows the magnetic fields to be detected by the sensors.
