METHOD AND SHAKER FOR MIXING LIQUIDS
To sum up, by using the shaker for mixing liquids (1-7) (e.g. shampoo, soap, etc) with water right before use, an optimal dose of the liquid is used and appropriate solution is used. A dissolved mixture is applied to the hair/body to most significant part immediatelythe hair roots and the scalp. It works beneficial for the hair, especially the hair ends, preventing dry and split ends as the e.g. shampoo is not applied directly. The mixture is distributed more evenly throughout the hair, without adding additional water and washing out the unused shampoo. The foam evolves quicker and is greater, which makes the washing easier. The shaker enables the user to use multiple liquids at once if needed. The amount of the liquid used is decreased to an optimal dose for the user and is therefore also eco-friendly, as no excessive amount of liquid is used. The invention enables the user to close tap water/shower during use and therefore uses less water and is eco-friendly. With same advantages the shaker is used in pet care and with other liquids.

The control unit is configured to receive a data set indicative of a sequence of one or more liquids and, for each of the one or more liquids, an associated quantity of liquid; and for each respective liquid of the sequence of one or more liquids to control the first actuator to move the support or the seating relatively to the other such that the slot holding a respective cartridge of the plurality of cartridges is positioned in correspondence of the seating, the respective cartridge containing the respective liquid of the sequence of one or more liquids; and to control the second actuator to act upon the respective cartridge to cause transfer of a respective quantity of liquid from the respective cartridge into a receptacle positioned in the seating, the respective quantity corresponding to the associated quantity of liquid. A process for blending liquids is also provided.
Assembly for and method of dispensing a liquid
Assembly for dispensing a liquid, in particular a colorant for paint, comprising a container for holding a liquid, a pump, a valve, at least one dispense opening, and comprising or associated with a controller arranged to operate the pump and the valve to withdraw liquid from the container and to dispense liquid via the opening and to operate the pump and the valve to purge liquid from the pump to the container via the dispense opening.
Fluid metering system
A fluid metering system for accurately and consistently mixing two or more fluids together. The fluid metering system generally includes a closed loop feedback system that monitors the flow rate of the water and the volume of liquid chemical added to the water over a period of time. Based on the measured amount of chemical added to the water over a period of time, the system calculates whether or not an adjustment is required for the next addition of chemical to the water. The present invention utilizes a measuring tube that is filled with a chemical wherein a pressure sensor measures the pressure of the chemical in the measuring tube when filled and after being emptied to calculate the total volume of chemical added to the water.
Method for dispensing a fluid medium
The invention relates to a method for metering a fluid medium by means of a metering device in the form of a piston pump having a cylinder (Z) and a movable piston (3), wherein the cylinder (Z) and the piston (3) form a working space (A), characterized in that in a first method step a given filling quantity of the fluid medium is conveyed into the working space (A), wherein the filling quantity is greater than the predefined quantity to be metered, and in that in a further method step the piston (3) reduces the size of the working space (A) to such an extent that the quantity to be metered remains in the working space (A), wherein at the same time a valve (18, 18) is opened so that the gas volume separated in the working space (A) and/or the excess fluid medium can flow out of the working space (A) through the piston, wherein to this end the piston (3) has at least one axially running through-channel (17, 17) which is connected to a return line (19, 19), and at least the controllable valve (18, 18) and/or a non-return valve is arranged in the through-channel (17, 17) and/or the return line (19, 19).
METHOD FOR MIXING GAS INTO HIGH-VISCOSITY MATERIAL AND APPARATUS FOR THE SAME
A gas mixing apparatus includes: a discharge port of gas provided near conduit space through which the high-viscosity material can flow; a piston pump including a cylinder that can communicate with the conduit space through the discharge port, a piston arranged inside the cylinder, and a drive device for moving the piston between a top dead center and a bottom dead center inside the cylinder; a discharge valve that opens and closes the discharge port; and a suction valve that opens and closes a suction port of the gas into a cylinder space, in which the cylinder forms the cylinder space having a predetermined volume when the piston is located at the top dead center, and in which a tip of the piston approaches the discharge port when the piston is moved toward the bottom dead center.
Hair color (or dye) storage, dispensing and measurement (or measuring) system
An apparatus and system for preparing a hair coloring includes as graduated syringe and a container filled with a pigmented hair dye. The container includes an air-tight chamber and an opening, and also includes an engagement mechanism for installing the container on a rack for support. An air-tight reclosing seal at the opening allows the syringe to engage the air-tight reclosing seal, and extract the hair dye from the air-tight chamber. When the syringe is disengaged from the container, the air-tight reclosing seal closes off the air-tight chamber and permitting a known quantity of the hair dye to be withdrawn from the container into the syringe, allowing an accurate and repeatable quantity of hair dye to be dispensed from the container.
