An apparatus for releasing a fish into deep water, comprising a central member having an upper end portion and a lower end portion, a spiral member attached to the central member, the spiral member being spaced away from the central member and having a free end, a plurality of swivels, wherein one of the swivels can be connected the upper end portion of the central member and another of said swivels can be connected to the lower end portion of the central member, and a weight connected to the lower swivel. The device can further provide a weight on the central member that overcomes buoyancy of the fish.

An apparatus for releasing a fish into deep water, comprising a central member having an upper end portion and a lower end portion, a spiral member attached to the central member, the spiral member being spaced away from the central member and having a free end, a plurality of swivels, wherein one of the swivels can be connected the upper end portion of the central member and another of said swivels can be connected to the lower end portion of the central member, and a weight connected to the lower swivel. A fishing lure for securing live bait includes a flexible main body and a stretchable collar. The flexible main body is configured to have a fishing hook inserted therethrough. The stretchable collar is connected to the flexible main body. The stretchable collar has a hole configured to stretch when pulled to allow a live bait to be inserted into the hole and constrict when released to secure the live bait in the hole. Whereby, when the flexible main body is positioned on the fishing hook and the live bait is inserted into the hole of the stretchable collar, the stretchable collar positions the live bait adjacent the fishing hook for fishing.

A fishing lure for securing live bait includes a flexible main body and a stretchable collar. The flexible main body is configured to have a fishing hook inserted therethrough. The stretchable collar is connected to the flexible main body. The stretchable collar has a hole configured to stretch when pulled to allow a live bait to be inserted into the hole and constrict when released to secure the live bait in the hole. Whereby, when the flexible main body is positioned on the fishing hook and the live bait is inserted into the hole of the stretchable collar, the stretchable collar positions the live bait adjacent the fishing hook for fishing.

Disclosed is a fishing bait clasp (1) that comprises a circular hollow ring (2) with an internal channel and openable access (3), a side opening (4), a sharp curved pin (5) movable against a tiny spring inside the channel, and 2 small eyes (6 & 7) are soldered on top of the ring for line connection and on the sharp curved pin as access handle. The tiny spring inside the hollow ring puts pressure on the mechanism to keep the access closed. The access can be opened or closed by pushing up and releasing the eye handle along the side of the hollow ring. The sharp curved pin has its sharp head hidden and locked inside the circular hollow ring when closed. The fishing bait clasp provides a new, simple and practical device with flexible methods to be utilised for attaching different universal baits securely for sport fishing.

The present invention includes a fishing bait holder, the holder including: a hollow tubular housing, the housing having a first closed end and a second open end, the first closed end having on the top of the exterior an orifice for attaching a fishing line; a rod for holding a plurality of pieces of bait, the rod having a first end and a second end, the first coupled to the interior of the first closed end of the hollow tubular housing, and the second end culminating in a fish hook; a spring encircling the rod; and a washer encircling the rod and inferior to the spring, proximal to the hook.

The offset section presents a bend/angled portion for opening up the gap between the hook point and the fishing line for better hook ups. The offset section's downward bend allows a jig head to come through the lips of the fish. Further, the bottom of the bend allows pushing the hook point upwards for great hook penetration. In one embodiment, the fishhook includes a fishing lure to lure the fish towards the fishhook.
