BAIT HOLDER FOR FISHING HOOK
A bait holder adapted for securing a fishing hook to a soft plastic bait while fishing a weedless technique during bass fishing. The bait holder includes an attachment portion, adapted to be inserted through the eye of the fishing hook for securely attaching to the fishing hook. The bait holder further includes a first hook extending from the attachment portion and being adapted to be inserted through a portion of a soft bait for securing the soft bait to the first end of the fishing hook during use. The bait holder of the present invention allows the fisherman to pull his bait through the thickest of vegetation without the top of the plastic bait sliding down the shaft of the hook.

System and Method for Making a Fishing Bait by Utilizing a Bait Mesh Wrap
A system and a method for making a fishing bait by utilizing a bait mesh wrap is disclosed. The system and method enable the user to utilize a wider range of bait for fishing without worrying about wasting the bait by better securing the bait to any fishing hook. The system includes a bait mesh wrap and a bait material. The bait mesh wrap is designed to envelop the bait material to form a single bait structure that can be used as a traditional fishing bait. The bait mesh wrap further facilitates the attachment of the bait material to a fishing hook. The bait material corresponds to any type of bait the user desires to use to lure the target fish or other aquatic life.
Expandable bait keeper for soft fishing lures
A fishing tackle bait keeper for a fishing hook includes an anchor and an extension member. The anchor has a sleeve with first and second ends, and plural ribs coupled to the first end. The ribs project in a diverging arrangement from the first end of the sleeve in a direction opposite of the sleeve first end. The ribs each have a free end. The ribs move from a deployed position to a retracted position, wherein when the ribs are in the retracted position, the ribs are oriented with the sleeve to allow insertion of the bait keeper into a bait, and wherein when the ribs are in the deployed position, the ribs extend out from the sleeve to resist being removed from the bait, the ribs are normally in the deployed position. The extension member is coupled to the sleeve and having an attachment portion for coupling with the hook.
