Fishing Lure
A fishing lure that includes magnetizable, exchangeable plates on the dorsal and ventral surface of the lure. A magnet is provided within the lure body for releasable attraction of various plates to the top and bottom surface of the lure. The elongate body allows for placement of different plates within the single elongate body, thus changing the look of the lure.
FLEXIBLE FISHING LURE HAVING AN INTEGRAL RETAINER AND METHOD OF MAKING SAME
A flexible plastic fishing lure has an integral retainer that is configured proximal to a front end of the fishing lure and has at least one retainer barb. The integral retainer is a harder and tougher material than the plastic used in the body of the fishing lure and is configured to seat over the jig-head barb to prevent the flexible plastic fishing lure from sliding down along the jig-head. The integral retainer has at least one retainer barb that more effectively holds the flexible plastic to the integral retainer. The integral retainer may have extension tabs that extend out radially and in some cases extend out from the flexible plastic body. The integral retainer may also have an aperture that extend along the length of the integral retainer and may be used to inject the flexible plastic into a mold.

Sidetracker
A sidetracker includes a body including a first fin and a second fin spaced apart from the first fin. The first and second fins are coupled to the body. The first and second fins are configured to control a vertical position of the body in water through which the body is moving. A channel is formed in the body. The channel includes a first groove and a second groove. The first and second grooves cross each other. A wing is positioned in the channel. The wing is detachably coupled to the body. The wing is configured to rotate between the first groove and the second groove. The wing is configured to control a lateral position of the body in water through which the body is moving.
ARTICLE IN MOTION COMPRISING HYDROPHOBICALLY-COATED REGION
Articles having a hydrophobically-coated region and processes of using such articles are disclosed. The article includes a substrate material and a hydrophobically-coated region on the substrate material, the hydrophobically-coated region being contacted or configured for contact with a fluid. The hydrophobically-coated region is configured to repulse the fluid from the article while the article is moving through the fluid. The process includes using the article by moving the article through the fluid wherein the hydrophobically-coated region repulses the fluid from the article.
DEVICE FOR ATTRACTING AQUATIC AND MARINE LIFE
A device for attracting aquatic and marine life is disclosed. The device may generate an output in a body of water that simulates the feeding or distress of other aquatic or marine life forms. An example device includes a head coupled to a supply line to provide gas and/or liquid to the head, and an agitator coupled to the head. A plurality of arms of the agitator have a plurality of openings therein to output the gas and/or liquid into a body of water and cause a disturbance. In an example, the agitator sits above, at, or below the surface of a body of water and discharges the gas (or fluid), and/or moves under the influence thereof, to create a disturbance in the body of water, such that desired species of aquatic and marine life are attracted to the disturbance.
FISHING LURE AND PACKAGING METHOD
At least one lure resembling, for example, a worm or other live bait (crawfish, frog, etc.), is packaged in a closed container which contains coffee grounds or other scent and/or flavor imparting particulate material in contact therewith.
Counter-cone sleeve for tube fly rigging
The invention presents a solution that makes the rigging of a tube fly, which can be used for fishing with fishing rod arrangements or fishing line, easier and simpler. Using the invention with tube fly rigging helps to make tidier and more symmetrical flies and speeds up the tube fly rigging and serial production. An example of a counter-cone sleeve for tube fly rigging as described herein can include, for example, a sleeve having a counter-cone shape including a front cone section, a mid-section and a rear cone section, wherein there is an angle between an outer surface of the mid-section and an outer surface of the rear cone section of between 95 to 140 degrees and wherein there is an angle between the outer surface of the mid-section and an outer surface of the front cone section of between 95 to 155 degrees, and a hole arranged to penetrate through the counter-cone sleeve, wherein the hole is fitted for a base tube of a tube fly.
Modular Lure
A modular lure with a light function, whose components can be selected and swapped out to appeal to particular fish, whose shape imparts a rhythmic motion to it upon retrieval, whose tail has a retaining cavity for skirts and tubes, bait, and a light-diffusion attachment, whose one-piece hitch wire provides quick, easy and secure hook attachment, and whose power supply creates an inductive energy field around the lure.
DREDGE WITH REPLACEABLE ARMS
A dredge having easily replaceable arms, a composite dredge which is configurable to laterally couple at least two hubs, and methods for using the same are provided. In one embodiment, a dredge includes plurality of arms having at least one teaser attachment and a first hub configured to removably retain the arms in a radial orientation. At least one arm is configured to attached to a second hub.
