SYSTEMS, METHODS AND COMPOSITIONS FOR EFFECTIVE SANITIZING OR DISINFECTING
Apparatus and methods for producing a sanitizing composition are described. The apparatus includes: (1) one or more first reactors for heating alcohol with a cannabidiol (“CBD”) and/or a cannabigerol (CBG) to produce an intermediate sanitizing composition; and (2) a first homogenizing subsystem including a first homogenizing blade for mixing alcohol with the intermediate sanitizing composition to produce a first homogenized composition. Methods of the present teachings include: (1) mixing alcohol with a CBD and/or a CBG to produce an intermediate sanitizing composition; (2) cooling the intermediate sanitizing composition to a temperature that ranges from about 10° C. to about 30° C. to produce a cooled intermediate sanitizing composition; and (3) admixing the cooled intermediate sanitizing composition with an alcohol and water solution to produce the sanitizing composition.
Photochemistry device
The invention consists of an assembly of a light (e.g., UV, visible, IR) source, a reaction vial holder and a photochemistry device that allows for conducting arrays of photochemical reaction conditions at room temperature with magnetic stirring. The photochemistry assembly is compatible with multiple reaction vial size holder.
Reactor and process for producing alkyl (meth)acrylates
A novel process can be used for a heterogeneously catalysed oxidation reaction, in the presence of a pulverulent noble metal-containing catalyst, where (meth)acrolein, an alkyl alcohol, in particular methanol, and an oxygen-containing gas are converted to an alkyl (meth)acrylate, in particular methyl (meth)acrylate. A corresponding reactor suitable for performing the reaction is also useful. The process allows for an effective retention of the particulate catalyst and the continuous discharge of fines fractions of the catalyst powder which are present, particularly in a fresh catalyst batch as a consequence of its preparation. Such fines fractions may also be produced by abrasion during the reaction. The process allows for effective recycling, recovery, and utilization of these discharged catalyst fractions.
Non adiabatic 2-phase (liquid-liquid) polymerization process
Disclosed are methods and conditions for manufacturing a polyethylene polymer or copolymer in a liquid/liquid biphasic non-adiabatic reaction, and the compositions and articles made therefrom.
REACTOR FOR MIXING HIGH VISCOSITY FLUIDS
A reactor is described. The reactor comprises a housing having a reaction space to accommodate a reactant; an outlet pipe connected to a lower part of the reaction space; a rotating shaft disposed in the housing; and a plurality of stirring blades mounted on the rotating shaft. The housing has a lower converging region, and a cross-sectional area of the lower converging region decreases toward the outlet pipe. At least one of the plurality of stirring blades is located in the lower converging region. The outlet pipe includes a first region connected to the lower converging region and a second region extending from the first region in a discharge direction, a cross-sectional area of the first region decreases in a direction from the lower converging region toward the discharge direction, and the second region has a constant cross-sectional area.
Synthesis of magnesium dichloride support for the AST off-line ZN catalyst with a plug flow reactor (PFR)
The various embodiments of the invention provide, a magnesium dichloride support and the magnesium titanium polymerization procatalyst made therefrom, and methods for making and using the same.
SYSTEMS AND APPROACHES FOR DRUG PROCESSING
A drug processing system includes a workstation, at least one deck module movably positionable within the workstation, at least one filter plate operably coupled with the at least one deck module, an agitating member, and a liquid handler member. The at least one filter plate has a plurality of wells to receive a fluid therein. The agitating member is adapted to move the at least one filter plate according to an agitation system. The liquid handler member is adapted to selectively add a fluid to at least one of the plurality of wells and/or remove a fluid from the at least one of the plurality of wells according to a liquid handling system. The agitating member is adapted to move the at least one filter plate while the liquid handler member selectively adds and/or removes the fluid from the at least one of the plurality of wells.
