Cell transfer device and cell transfer method
The cell transfer device includes a head group including a plurality of heads to which tips are attached and which move along a first direction; a head unit in which the head group is installed and which moves in a second direction and in a third direction; and a plurality of drive motors which are mounted on the head unit and which generate driving force to cause the head to move along the first direction. The plurality of drive motors are separately arranged on one side and the other side in the third direction with the head group provided therebetween. The head group includes a first head and a second head. The first head is driven by the drive motor arranged on the one side in the third direction, and the second head is driven by the drive motor arranged on the other side in the third direction.
Dynamic broad volumetric range pipette
Multivolume liquid pipettes with nested plunger and vacuum chamber configurations and methods of using such pipettes are disclosed herein. These pipettes typically include a body and a fluid displacement assembly with a small plunger element slideably received within a larger plunger element, each movable within a vacuum chamber for the precise and accurate control of the displacement of fluid, such as air. In turn, this allows for a single device to aspirate and dispense a broad range of liquids in a dynamic, accurate, and precise manner. In addition, the devices disclosed herein may also include a multi-tiered spring-loaded ejection mechanism to allow the user to use and eject pipette tips of different sizes.
System and method for titrating liquids
A system for titrating liquids, with a syringe or tip, comprising a holding device and at least one tag and a metering equipment, comprising an additional holding device for holding the syringe or tip on the holding device, a reading device for reading the tag of the syringe or tip held by the additional holding device, a driving device having a motor, which is detachably coupled with a plunger of the syringe when the same is held by the additional holding device, or which is coupled with a plunger which is arranged in a cylinder which is coupled with the tip via a fluid conduit, when the same is held by the additional holding device, an operating device for operating the metering equipment and a control device, connected with the operating device, the reading device and the driving device, which controls the movement of the plunger depending of the tag of the inserted syringe or tip.
PIPETTING DEVICE AND METHOD FOR OPERATING A PIPETTING DEVICE
The invention relates to a pipetting device, more particularly a pipette or repeater pipette, for pipetting fluid laboratory samples, comprising: an electric control apparatus, by means of which a pipetting process is electrically controllable, a movable part, by means of the movement of which the fluid sample is pipettable, an electrically actuatable motor apparatus, by means of which the movement of the movable part is driveable depending on at least one first speed value defining the speed of the movable part, a measuring apparatus, by means of which at least one measured value which is influenced by the drag caused when pipetting the fluid sample is measurable, wherein the electric control apparatus is configured for the purposes of the at least one first speed value being fixable by the electric control apparatus, depending on at least one measured value. The invention furthermore relates to a method for operating the pipetting device.
BURETTE
A sliding seal [4] is operated within a bore [1] by means of magnetic attraction to an externally positioned and operated ring magnet [10] thus enabling a burette to be filled through the jet [3] like a syringe and remove the need for a control tap.
SAMPLE COLLECTION DEVICE
A sample collection device includes a tube, a closure and a partitioning member. The tube includes an opening and is used to receive a sampling swab. The closure is engaged with the tube for enclosing the opening. The partitioning member is disposed in the tube and includes a blocking portion and a position-limiting portion. The blocking portion is disposed close to the opening and covers a portion of the opening so as to leave another uncovered portion as an entrance for passing the sampling swab therethrough. The position-limiting portion is connected with the blocking portion and extended into the tube, so as to limit the sampling swab in a space corresponding to the entrance inside the tube after the sampling swab passes through the entrance.
Pipette for use with a pipette tip
A pipette comprises a pipette housing comprising an upper end and a lower end, a nipple configured to contact and retain a pipette tip, a drive apparatus configured to aspirate a liquid specimen into the pipette tip and expel the liquid specimen from the pipette tip, and an ejection apparatus. The ejection apparatus comprises a curved support rotatably mounted within the pipette housing, an ejection rod, a first sensing element positioned on the ejection rod and configured to be guided on a first curve on a perimeter of the curved support, and an operating element coupled to the curved support and configured to rotate relative to the pipette housing. The ejection apparatus is configured to rotate the curved support out of a start position by rotating the operating element. The first curve displaces the first sensing element downward a the ejection rod moves the pipette tip off of the nipple.
DEVICE, SYSTEM, AND METHOD FOR SELECTING A TARGET ANALYTE OR FLUID
This disclosure is directed to a device and a system for aspirating and dispensing a target analyte, target material, or fluid. A picker may aspirate and dispense the desired material by introducing a pressure gradient. The picker may include a hydraulic fluid to hydraulically couple at least two components, such as a moveable pump component and a cannula.
Metering Apparatus
A metering apparatus including a scale on which a metering head is disposed in such a manner that the scale measures the weight of the metering head, and a metering tool for taking up and dispensing substance, attached to the metering head. The metering tool is configured as a glass tubule having a glass punch slidably disposed therein, forming a seal. The metering head is provided with a first gripping tool for clamping the glass tubule in place and with a second gripping tool for clamping the glass punch in place. The metering head furthermore has a raising and lowering device for raising and lowering the second gripping tool relative to the first gripping tool, such that the glass punch can be raised and lowered in the glass tubule of the metering tool.
POSITIONING SYSTEM FOR POSITIONING END EFFECTORS
A positioning system (1) that has a system main part (4), on which multiple working units (6) are arranged next to one another in the axial direction of a y-axis, said working units being linearly movable, thereby carrying out a working movement (8) in the axial direction of a z-axis. Each working unit (6) is paired with a dedicated drive unit (7) in order to be actuated, said drive unit having a stator (23) attached to the system main part (4) and an output element (24) drivingly connected to the working unit (6) via a coupling section (26). The stators (23) are distributed into multiple stator rows (58) which are aligned in the axial direction of the y-axis and are arranged one behind the other in the axial direction of the x-axis, wherein the stators (23) of each pair of adjacent stator rows (58) are offset to one another with a mutual overlap in the axial direction of the y-axis.
