SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR EXTRACTING AND ISOLATING PURIFIED WHEAT EMBRYO PRODUCTS
Methods for producing a purified wheat embryo product are disclosed. In one embodiment, producing a purified wheat embryo product includes the steps of: accelerating a plurality of wheat berries toward an impact surface, impacting each of the plurality of wheat berries against the impact surface, dislodging at least some of the wheat embryos from the wheat berries in response to the impacting step such that the dislodged embryos are intact, and separating the dislodged wheat embryos from the bran and the endosperm to produce an intermediate purified wheat embryo product.
Material processing unit and method of opening and closing a housing part of a housing of a material processing unit
A material processing unit has a movable tool accommodated in a housing. The housing includes a housing part which can be moved between an open position and a closed position relative to a further housing part. A safety device prevents any opening of the housing when the tool is driven and/or prevents any driving in the open position. The safety device includes at least two actuators and a controller. A first actuator locks the housing part in the closed position. A second actuator causes, supports and/or permits a movement of the housing part. Sensors are assigned to the actuators. A controller is designed to control the drive and the actuators and to receive the actuation states detected by the sensors. A method for opening/closing a housing of a material processing unit is also provided.
Crusher unit and method for adjusting the crushing gap of a crusher unit
The invention relates to a crusher unit (10), in particular an impact crusher, having an impact rotor (11), having at least one swivel-mounted impact rocker (20), wherein a crushing gap (15) is formed between the impact rotor (11) and the impact rocker (20), wherein the impact rocker (20) can be swiveled along an adjustment path by means of at least one gap-adjusting means (30) to set a gap width of the crushing gap (15), wherein the impact rocker (20) is mounted such that its weight force acts in the direction of a reduction of the crushing gap (15). For a high degree of operational safety, the crushing gap can be readjusted during operation in that at least one retaining device (50) is provided, which uses a retaining force to flexibly counteract a swiveling of the impact rocker (20) in the direction of the impact rotor (11). The invention also relates to a method for setting the crushing gap (15) of a crusher unit (10).
Impact crusher and curtain adjustment system
An impact crusher for crushing a feed material received through an opening of the crusher is provided. The crusher includes: a housing defining a crushing chamber; at least one elevation adjustable impact barrier mounted in the crushing chamber; a barrier adjustment mechanism configured to adjust an elevation of the at least one impact barrier within the crushing chamber; and a rotor mounted in the crushing chamber and turned by a drive mechanism. The rotor is configured to direct feed material toward the at least one impact barrier. The bather adjustment mechanism includes at least one hydraulic cylinder mounted to the at least one impact barrier. The cylinder includes a sensor for detecting an absolute extension of the cylinder. A system for crushing a crushable material including an impact crusher and controller is also provided herein.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR AN APRON RETURN ASSEMBLY
An apron return assembly having a pump that is adapted to convey a fluid, an apron actuator having an apron actuator cap side and an apron actuator rod side and being in fluid communication with the pump, an accumulator that is in fluid communication with the apron actuator cap side, a reservoir that is in fluid communication with the apron actuator, and a tension rod having a frame end and an apron end. In the preferred apron return assembly, the apron actuator and the tension rod are adapted to move the apron between a closed position and an open position. A method for moving the apron from the open position to the closed position.
Method for detecting wear in crushers during idle operation
A method for detecting wear in crushers, having a wearing part (2) mounted on a drive shaft (1), during idle operation is described in which downtimes that impair crusher productivity can be eliminated and nevertheless reliable wear detection is made possible with low risk of injury to machine operators. The drive shaft (1) is accelerated from a starting angular speed (?1) to an end angular speed (?2) with a specified acceleration, and the drive energy required for this is ascertained, whereupon the wear of the wearing part (2) is ascertained as the value assigned to the required drive energy in a specified wearing-part characteristic curve (3, 4, 5).
Driving of rotating crusher elements
A mineral material crusher and method of operating a mineral material crusher that includes: a body, a rotating crusher element, a drive shaft arrangement that supports the rotating crusher element to the body and to rotate the rotating crusher element, and a motor including a rotor for driving the drive shaft arrangement. The motor is formed inside the rotating crusher element and the drive shaft arrangement is configured to form of the rotor a rotating axle that is rigidly coupled with the rotating crusher element and capable of leading torque from the rotor to the rotating crusher element for rotating the crusher element around the drive shaft.
IMPACT CRUSHER ASSEMBLY
There is described an impact crusher assembly comprising a plurality of blow bars mounted on a rotor core able to rotate about an axis, a feeder for material to the blow bars, a primary impact plate co-operating with the blow bars and located radially outwardly from the blow bars, and a secondary impact plate located below the primary impact plate, wherein the secondary impact plate is translationally moveable relative to rotor core.
The invention provides an assembly able to vary the gap between the secondary impact plate and the blow bars, to allow the user to quickly and easily change the size of material crushed by the impact crusher assembly, or compensate for wear and tear.
Overload protection device for the hydraulic system of a mineral material machining plant
A mineral material machining plant includes a hydraulic element including a connection area and a passage opening. An overload protection device includes a replaceable burst panel covering the passage opening. The burst panel includes a rear face, at least one bore, and at least one recess having a lateral insertion section open towards one side of the burst panel. A burst panel holder engages the rear face. In an assembled condition at least one fastening bolt passes through a bolt mount of the burst panel holder, the bore of the burst panel, and is threaded into a threaded mount of the connection area. In a disassembled condition at least one retaining element connects the burst panel holder to the hydraulic element and can be inserted laterally into and removed from the recess transversely to a plate plane of the burst panel.
