APPARATUS FOR TEARING MEAT
An apparatus for tearing meat is disclosed. The apparatus includes a gravity-fed hopper including at least one sidewall that forms a first opening configured to receive meat articles and a second opening configured to discharge torn meat articles. The apparatus includes a rotatable spindle element positioned at least partially within the hopper and downstream of the first opening. The rotatable spindle element includes a shaft having a longitudinal axis and a plurality of teeth coupled to the shaft, the teeth being spaced apart from one another. The apparatus includes a plurality of rods, which extend from the sidewall spaced apart from one another and which are interlaced with the plurality of teeth, and a motor coupled to the rotatable spindle element configured to rotate the rotatable spindle element to cause at least some of the plurality of teeth to rotate and pass between two different rods.
MILL
A mill includes a housing with a first end portion, a second end portion, and a lateral area disposed therebetween. The housing includes a raw material inlet, an air inlet, a recirculated material inlet, and a material outlet. An impeller is supported by the housing and includes a shaft disposed along the longitudinal axis of the housing, with a plurality of curved blades.
Pin Mill
A pin mill includes a rotor plate mounted on a shaft and having concentrically spaced-apart circular arrays of pins arise from an end face. The rotor pins interdigitate with complementary concentric arrays of pins arising from a face of a stator mounted on a door. The door swings open on a hinge mounted on two translator pins so that the door can translate the interdigitated pins before swinging open so that the pins arrays do not collide with each other while the door is opening. The rotor operates within a rotatable cylindrical screen which retains particles being broken up until they are small enough to exit. The rotor includes a circular array of vane knives which sweep closely within the screen and also entrain cooling air into the macerating volume of the mill. Oversized particles trapped in the screen also get cleared and split apart by the passing vane knives.
Method of feeding material to a horizontal shaft impact crusher, and a crushing device
A crushing device includes a horizontal shaft impact crusher having an impeller rotating around a horizontal shaft and at least one curtain against which material may be crushed. The crushing device further includes a first feeding device for feeding a first type of material to be crushed to a crushing chamber of the horizontal shaft impact crusher. A second feeding device feeds a second type of material, having a smaller average particle size than the first type of material, to the crushing chamber simultaneously with the first feeding device feeding the first type of material to the crushing chamber. A mixing arrangement for at least partially mixes the first and the second types of materials with each other before bringing them into contact with the impeller.
Comminuting device
A device (10) for mechanically comminuting material conglomerates. The device includes a comminuting chamber (14) having a feed side and an outlet side, surrounded by a chamber wall with rotors (26, 28, 30) each including a rotor shaft and striking tools (38) extending radially into the comminuting chamber. The directions of rotation of the rotors (26, 28, 30) are opposite in at least two consecutive segments. An air stream device (31, 37, 39, 41) for leading a particle/air mixture out of the comminuting chamber (14) is arranged in connection with the comminuting chamber.
COMMINUTION DEVICE
The invention relates to a comminution device for mechanically comminuting material conglomerates consisting of materials of varying density and/or consistency, including a comminution chamber having a supply side with a supply device above the comminution chamber and a discharge side, which comminution chamber is enclosed by a circular cylindrical and/or conical, downwardly widened comminution chamber wall and has at least two portions in succession in the axial direction, in each of which at least one rotor is arranged coaxial with the comminution chamber, each rotor having a rotor shaft and having striking tools which extend substantially radially into the comminution chamber at least during operation, the rotors having opposite directions of rotation in at least two successive portions, deflection ribs being arranged on the inside of the comminution chamber wall at axial intervals and/or the radius of the comminution chamber wall increases from top to bottom.
Rock Crusher for a Potato Harvester
The rock crusher has hammers mounted to a rotor and anvils mounted to its casing. First and second anvil sets define a convex surface arrangement facing the rotor and second and third anvil sets define a concave surface arrangement facing the rotor. The anvil sets are oriented to reduce compaction of rocks in the infeed portion of the crusher, and to reduce compaction of aggregate in the casing of the rock crusher. In relation to the movement of each hammer along their work sector, the two operations mentioned above are carried out before a third portion of the work sector wherein rocks are directed to rebound and impact the hammers head-on along the work circle of the hammers. The rock crusher is directly driven by the engine of a potato harvester, wherein the engine, the fan of the harvester and the rock crusher share a common inertia.
A MATERIAL PROCESSING BARREL AND ASSOCIATED MATERIAL PROCESSING SYSTEM
A material processing system having a barrel also referred to hereinafter having a milling or impact surface and a central axis. The impact surface is impervious, in that material cannot pass through the surface, but rather is contained by the surface. An impact mechanism is located within barrel and is rotates about the central axis. The system has inlet openings and formed in the barrel at axially spaced locations along the axis. At least one outlet opening is formed in the barrel at a location intermediate of the inlets. The impact mechanism includes a plurality of hammers mounted on shaft which rotates about the axis.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR INTRODUCING INCOHERENT MATERIAL INTO A MACHINE
Device for introducing incoherent material into a machine for processing incoherent material including an external body which is configured to be passed through by an incoherent material and which defines inside it a passage channel having an inlet aperture and an outlet aperture. The device also includes mobile deviation device pivoted to the external body and configured to selectively modify the cross-section of the outlet aperture.
COMMINUTION DEVICE
The invention relates to a device (10; 50) for mechanically comminuting materials, including a vertically extending comminuting chamber (14) having an upwardly extending supply side (15) and a downwardly extending discharge side. The comminuting chamber is enclosed by an in circular cylindrical and/or conical downwardly expanded comminuting chamber wall (12), and in which at least one rotor (16, 18) rotating about a vertical rotor axis (R) is arranged, which is provided with striking tools (38) that extend radially into the comminuting chamber, at least during operation. The rotors(16, 18) are held in a stationary manner with respect to a support base (20) of the device, and the comminuting chamber wall is supported on the support base. According to the invention, the comminuting chamber wall is held in place by way of a lifting device in the direction of the rotor axis (R) in a height adjustable manner relative to the support base (20). The lifting device (36) has a working position, in which the lower edge of the comminuting chamber wall (12) is arranged close to the support base (20) or to a part connected thereto, and a maintenance position, in which the lower edge (32) of the comminuting chamber wall (12) is vertically raised above at least one of the striking tools (22, 24). The invention allows easy maintenance and an uncomplicated exchange of the striking tools of the comminuting device.
