FOAM SPRAYER
A sprayer has: a reservoir for containing a liquid to be sprayed; a compressor fluidly connected to the reservoir; a pressure sensor operatively connected to one or more of the compressor and the reservoir; and a controller operatively connected to the compressor and the pressure sensor, the controller comprising a processing unit and a computer-readable medium having instructions stored thereon executable by the processing unit for: receiving a signal from the pressure sensor, the signal indicative of a pressure inside the reservoir; comparing the pressure inside the reservoir to a first threshold; and when the pressure inside the reservoir is below the first threshold, actuating the compressor for pressurizing the reservoir until the pressure inside the reservoir reaches the first threshold.
Apparatus for nanoparticle generation
An apparatus for creating solid or liquid nanoparticles having a nozzle to create a first particle size from a bulk liquid flow that is in fluid communication with a gas flow amplifier comprising an inlet cone connected to and in fluid communication with the inlet of a cylindrical housing; a diffuser connected to and in fluid communication with the outlet of said housing; and said housing comprising at least two rings of ports disposed of along a circumference of the cylindrical housing; and a means to inject compressed gas into the housing through said ports.
LOW PRESSURE PLURAL COMPONENT FOAM SPRAY SYSTEM
A method and apparatus for applying a foamed mixture of paints on a structural surface. A continuous stream of high velocity gas moves through a nozzle and is directed toward the structural surface, and two or more paints may be intermittently moved into the gas stream of the nozzle and aerated and mixed with each other and moved with the gas stream to form a foam that is applied to the structural surface. The components of the foamed mixture may include single component or plural component materials such as polyurethane foam, adhesive, and polyurea formulations, and may be moved through a volumetric metering device consisting of material heaters, a heated hose, and an applicator gun. The nitrogen gas stream fluidizes the mixture as it passes through and out of the nozzle and forms the mixture into a foam that is applied to the structural surface.
Cleaning nozzle unit and on-vehicle camera unit
In a cleaning nozzle unit including an inner liquid passage guiding a cleaning solution, an inner air passage feeding air to an outlet of the inner liquid passage, and an injection port that mixes the cleaning solution guided by the inner liquid passage and the air fed by the inner air passage and injects a mixture of the cleaning solution and the air to a surface of an object, a plurality of the injection ports are provided, are disposed at predetermined intervals and inject the mixtures in directions such that the mixtures hits each other in the surface at a substantially predetermined angle in a front view of the surface.
Low pressure plural component spray system
JET ADAPTER FOR PLASTERING MACHINES
A jet adapter (1) for plastering machines is designed for (semi)automatic application of materials, such as plaster, heat insulation foam, penetrating agent, etc. onto walls Thanks to its design, this unique jet adapter (1) in combination with a smart plastering machine is capable of plastering 1 m of a standard wall in 3 minutes, including plaster trowelling. The application of material onto the wall is performed by especially designed material jets (2) comprising a jet channel (22) and at least two gas feeds (24) entering the jet channel (22) at the slope ranging from 20° to 60° with reference to the axis of the jet (2), which feed the jet (2) with pressurized gas, that in the jet (2) accelerates the supplied material and provides it with energy sufficient for leaving the jet (2).
Multi-orifice nozzle for droplet atomization
A method of atomizing a liquid comprising providing the liquid to a liquid duct in a dispensing body, providing a gas to a gas duct in the dispensing body, and introducing the liquid into a head via a plurality of liquid duct channels. The method further includes introducing the gas into a pressure chamber of a pressure cap, the pressure cap positioned proximate the dispensing body such that the head is positioned between the pressure cap and the dispensing body. The gas is expelled through a plurality of pressure chamber exit orifices, the pressure chamber exit orifices positioned proximate a plurality of liquid supply channel exit openings via an alignment spacer defined on the head. The method includes expelling the liquid from the liquid supply channel exit openings and through the pressure chamber exit orifices, such that the liquid and the gas interact and form atomized droplets of the liquid.
Method and apparatus to dispense fluid onto a target area of a surface
A device for dispensing liquid onto a target area of a vehicle surface is described, and includes a mixing valve that is in communication with a pressurized fluidic supply system via a fluidic distribution system, and a controller. The mixing valve includes an outlet orifice that is disposed proximal to the target area, and the mixing valve includes first and second valve conduits that are fluidly connected to the outlet orifice via a mixing portion. The first valve conduit includes a first control valve, and the second valve conduit includes a second control valve. The fluidic distribution system includes a first fluidic conduit and a second fluidic conduit. The controller is operatively connected to the fluidic supply system, and the first and second control valves.
