CLEANING APPARATUS
A cleaning apparatus includes a fluid discharge portion discharging fluid to a cleaning object, a gas discharge portion jetting gas to the cleaning object, a fluid tank, a fluid pump supplying the fluid via a fluid passage, a gas pump supplying gas via a gas passage, a control unit, a housing at which a part of the fluid passage and a part of the gas passage are provided, and a valve element switchable between a closed position at which the gas passage is blocked and an open position at which the gas passage is opened, the valve element including a first surface receiving a fluid pressure in a direction where the valve element is brought to the closed position and including a second surface receiving a gas pressure in a direction where the valve element is brought to the open position in a state where the valve element is closed.
Apparatus and method for generating and concentrating fine particle aerosols
A system and a method for generating a respirable dry powder aerosol (15) from a liquid solution or liquid suspension at a respirable dry powder aerosol volume flow (91). A liquid aerosol generating nozzle (3) generates from the liquid solution or liquid suspension a liquid aerosol (13) that is diluted by dilution gas (4) and dried in a cylindrical evaporation chamber (6) to generate a dry powder aerosol (14) that is subsequently concentrated by a cylindrical single linear slit aerosol concentrator (9). The system and method may include heliox as a gas, specifically dilution gas (4), for enhancing both the drying process in the cylindrical evaporation chamber (6) and for enhancing the concentration efficiency, but also as a nozzle gas (2) for enhancing generating the liquid aerosol (13) from the liquid solution or liquid suspension.
Easy-to-clean spray gun, accessories therefor, and mounting and dismounting methods
A spray gun includes a one-piece main body, a trigger, a paint needle operating element coupled to the trigger, a paint needle coupled to the paint needle operating element, and an exchangeable spray agent guiding unit, the inlet region of which is or can be connected to a material supply device for the material to be sprayed, wherein the main body has at least one opening for receiving the exchangeable spray agent directing unit. Also disclosed is a material supply device, a cover, a method for mounting an exchangeable spray agent guiding unit in or on a spray gun having a one-piece main body, and a method for removing an exchangeable spray agent directing unit from or out of a one-piece spray gun.
Electrostatic spray tool system
An electrostatic spray system includes an electrostatic tool, a spray tip assembly configured to receive a coating material, and an airflow to atomize and charge the coating material, and spray the coating material in an airflow direction. The spray tip assembly includes a first air cap horn having a recess in a first distal surface, a first charging pin disposed within the recess, and a grounded pin coupled to the spray tip assembly. The first charging pin and the grounded pin are configured to produce an electric field that charges the coating material.
Analytic nebuliser
The invention provides an analytic nebuliser device for delivering a sample in aerosolised form, the device comprising a nebuliser nozzle configured to receive a flow of said sample and generate a plume of aerosolised sample spray and a chamber configured to receive a flow of make-up gas and connecting with a plurality of microchannels having outlets arranged around and adjacent to said nebuliser nozzle wherein the microchannels are configured to produce a make-up gas stream with high linear velocity around said aerosolised sample spray to shape and direct said plume. The invention extends to a mass spectrometry or spectroscopy system including the above analytic nebuliser device, to provide in operation the aerosolised sample spray to an ionisation device of the system.
Disinfection systems and methods
A disinfection device may include a disinfection chamber, an ozone generator configured to generate ozone, and a humidifier configured to generate humidity and configured to be fluidly coupled to the disinfection chamber and the ozone generator, the humidifier being configured to encourage a mixing of generated ozone with generated humidity.
Essential oil atomizer
An essential oil reflux-type atomizer comprising the following structures: chassis, housing, atomization chamber, gas pump, gas tube, gas nozzle, oil nozzle, and filter atomization mechanism. The filter atomization mechanism is installed in the housing and has an upper filter and a lower filter. The essential oil atomizer can be improved efficiency and reduced noise level.
NOZZLE ASSEMBLY WITH AUXILIARY APERTURES
Provided are nozzle assemblies for a spraying apparatus having an outer wall (146) having opposed inner and outer surfaces, a central aperture (136) extending through the outer wall, and a pair of auxiliary apertures (158) disposed on the outer wall (146). Each auxiliary aperture is aligned along a respective auxiliary axis (162) and areas of the inner surface (164) of the outer wall (146) adjacent to the auxiliary apertures (158) are countersunk to define ledges (166) that are axially symmetric about the auxiliary axes (162). These assemblies obviate problems associated with rotatable molding pins and also provide the unexpected advantage of providing axial alignment of the air flow profile as air is emitted from the auxiliary apertures.
System, nozzle and method for coating elastic strands
A method of contact coating at least one elastic strand with an adhesive is disclosed. A first strand has a periphery with an upper surface. The first strand is moved in a machine direction relative to a contact nozzle, the adhesive is discharged from the contact nozzle into contact with the upper surface of the first strand, and pressurized air is discharged at the adhesive on the first strand to cause the adhesive to spread around the periphery of the first strand without blowing adhesive off the first strand.
MICROFLUIDIC DELIVERY DEVICE AND METHOD OF JETTING A FLUID COMPOSITION WITH THE SAME
A cartridge configured to be releasably connectable with a housing is provided. The cartridge has a reservoir for containing a fluid composition. The reservoir includes a top surface, a bottom surface vertically opposing the top surface, and a sidewall that joins the top and bottom surfaces. The reservoir also includes a sponge disposed within the reservoir and a microfluidic die disposed adjacent to the sidewall. The fluid composition is gravity fed from the reservoir to the microfluidic die. The microfluidic die is configured to dispense the fluid composition in an upward dispensing direction in opposition to the force of gravity. The microfluidic die may be disposed at an acute angle from the interior of the cartridge and relative to the bottom surface of the reservoir.
