Modified impingement spray nozzle
The nozzle system is ideally suited for use within a high-pressure chemical spray system. The preferred nozzles are impingement nozzles, where the chemical discharge leaves an orifice, and then collides with a distributor. The distributor breaks the stream of chemical into droplets, which then mix with the surrounding air.
Stock nozzles are altered by: removing a paper filter from each of the one or more nozzles; removing a metal mesh screen from the one or more nozzles; installing a polypropylene filter with a pore size lesser than the orifice size; and installing the one or more nozzles into the nozzle array.
Implement for adjustably metering an agricultural field input according to different frame sections
Metering device for an agricultural implement are present for applying a field input, for example, pneumatically delivered granular product including seed or fertilizer or sprayed liquid product including fertilizer and the like, to an agricultural field. In the applying of the field input, the rate of application of the dispensers of one section of the implement can be collectively varied in relation to the rate of application of the dispensers of a different section of the implement frame.
Portable pressurized sprayer
A tank holding a quantity of liquid releasably connects to a portable pump assembly through a connector to provide a portable sprayer. The tank connects to a feed line that supplies spray nozzle with the liquid. The connector combines a quick disconnect connector with a pressure relief valve. The portable pump assembly includes an electric pump, a switch assembly, and a check valve. The portable pump assembly directs gas through the check valve into the connector to increase the gas pressure in the tank and force the liquid in the tank to flow through the feed line and out the spray nozzle. The switch assembly turns off the electric pump when the gas pressure in the tank exceeds a predetermined limit while maintaining the flow of liquid through the spray nozzle.
FOAMING APPARATUS AND FOAMING METHOD
According to the present invention, there is provided a foaming apparatus that discharges a foamable material obtained by mixing gas into a viscous material of a resin and dispersing bubbles in a liquid of the viscous material. The foaming apparatus includes: a pipe; a material supply unit; a gas supply unit; a first gear pump; a second gear pump; a third gear pump; a mixer; a discharge unit; and a control unit.

APPARATUS TO CONTROL REACTION OF PEROXIDE AND ALKALINE
The present invention relates to an apparatus designed to control the application of the previously uncontrollable reaction of a peroxide composition and an alkaline composition, and accurately maintain the desired composition ratios for removal of and destruction of microbiological and organic contamination on a surface safely and without waste of the materials. The apparatus may also be used to maintain the highest demulsifying and antimicrobial activity of an organic acid composition blended with a peroxide composition by limiting contact time and the level of degradation of the components of the organic acid composition. A method of using the apparatus is provided for removing biofilm, bacteria, fungal cells, spores, fragments, and hyphae, microbiological slime, and organic contaminants from porous and non-porous surfaces, maintaining the integrity and life expectancy of the substrates, and increasing their resistance to new biofilm formation and microbiological deposition.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR FOAMING A VISCOUS MATERIAL
The invention relates to a device (01, 19, 23) for foaming a viscous material (02), said viscous material (02) being conveyed through a first conveyor pipe (05) using a first conveying means (04) at a first conveying pressure, and a gas (07) being conveyed through a second conveyor pipe (08) at a second conveying pressure, and the second conveyor pipe (08) and the first conveyor pipe (05) becoming conjoined at an opening (15), and a discharge device (17) being provided downstream of the opening (15) so as to allow a pressure-relieving discharge of the mixture (14) made up of viscous material (02) and gas (07), a gas injection valve (09) being arranged at the opening (15), said gas injection valve (09) allowing to inject gas bubbles (25) into the viscous material (02).
Treating a target via a modular precision delivery system
Various embodiments of an apparatus, methods, systems and computer program products described herein are directed to an agricultural observation and treatment system and method of operation. The agricultural treatment system uses a treatment unit for spraying fluid at agricultural objects. The treatment unit is configured with a treatment head assembly that includes a moveable treatment head with one or more spraying tips. A first and second motor assembly are operated by the treatment unit to control the movement of the treatment head. The first motor assembly includes a first motor rotatable in a first rotational axis. A first linkage assembly is connected to the first motor and the treatment head assembly. The first linkage assembly is rotatable by the first motor. The second linkage assembly is rotatable by the second motor.
PORTABLE CAVITATION PEENING METHOD AND APPARATUS
A method of cavitation peening may include coupling a moveable water source to a portable nozzle, through a flexible conduit. The method may include positioning the nozzle adjacent a treatment surface and discharging a first and second stream of fluid through a first and second channel of the nozzle, with the second channel concentrically positioned around the first channel. The first stream may have a first pressure, and the second stream may have a second pressure, the first pressure being greater than the second pressure and the two streams combining to generate a cloud of cavitation bubbles.
Hot melt adhesive foam dispensing system
A dispensing system for dispensing a hot melt adhesive foam onto a substrate is described. The dispensing system comprises a pump having a first input to receive a hot melt adhesive and a second input to receive a gas, where the pump mixes the hot melt adhesive and the gas to produce a solution. The dispensing system also includes a temperature sensor to detect a temperature of the solution, a dispenser to receive the solution from the pump and dispense the solution, and a controller. The controller instructs the pump to operate at a first speed, receives the temperature of the solution, and instructs the pump to operate at a second speed that is different than the first speed in response to the signal.
