The discharge head has an end surface by which the liquid store is substantially closed off at the distal end of the outlet connector and which is extended through by the liquid inlet. The end surface and the coupling device are formed as part of a common main component. The end surface has a ventilation aperture which is part of the ventilation channel and through which air flows into the liquid store in an inflow direction. The ventilation aperture has a minimum clear cross section of at most 3.Math.10.sup.−2 mm.sup.2.

Nebulizer and reservoir

A reservoir for a nebulizer includes: a tank or bag containing multiple doses of a fluid to be nebulized, and an indicator device for counting or indicating a number of uses performed or still possible with the reservoir, where at least one of: the reservoir includes a connector for fluidically connecting the tank or bag with the nebulizer, the indicator device is actuated by moving the connector relative to the tank or bag, and the reservoir includes or forms an eccentrical linear guidance for a driving part for driving the indicator device.

DISCHARGE HEAD AND LIQUID DISPENSER COMPRISING A DISCHARGE HEAD
20220250105 · 2022-08-11 ·

A discharge head for a liquid dispenser having a base and a push actuator. The discharge head has a pump device, which has a malleable pump chamber component open on both sides, fastened to the base and to the push actuator and encloses a pump chamber having a variable volume. The pump device has inlet and outlet valves. The discharge head has a ventilation opening and a ventilation valve. The ventilation valve on the base has a peripheral valve web raised via a surrounding cover wall of the base and the inside of which forms a peripheral valve surface. To ensure a reproducible behavior of the ventilation valve, a reinforcement structure is provided on the cover wall in the form of a peripheral reinforcement web, and/or the peripheral valve web is designed as part of a sleeve-like structure, which forms the peripheral valve web above the cover wall.

A pump dispenser comprises an actuator head (100) having a dispensing channel communicating with a nozzle outlet (122), a closure body (20) having a top facing (203), at least one engagement feature extending axially upward from the top facing, and a recess (210) formed in the top facing. The recess has a cylindrical sidewall (212) with a plurality of axially-aligned stoppers positioned along the cylindrical sidewall and an annular ledge (220) defining an inlet port at a bottom end of the recess, said ledge including a cylindrical abutment (240) extending axially upward within the recess (210). An internal plug (40) is positioned within the annular recess, and includes an annular disk (400) with at least one axially-aligned stopping flange (410) positioned at or around a periphery of said disk and a plurality of axially-aligned engagement flanges (420) positioned toward a center of said disk. A resilient bellows (30) has a cylindrical outlet (361) positioned in a deformable top wall (35) and a cylindrical enclosure (32) extending downward from the deformable top wall. The cylindrical outlet connects to a plurality of axial outlet flanges (362) extending below the deformable top wall and supporting a central engagement nub (364). The inlet port is selectively held sealed by the annular disk (400), which is secured by at least one of (i) the engagement flanges (420) coupling to the engagement nub (364) and (ii) the at least one stopping flange (410) abutting the terminal end of at least one of the axial outlet flanges.

SET CONSISTING OF A PUMP DISPENSER AND AN EVALUATION UNIT

A set including a pump dispenser for discharging pharmaceutical or cosmetic liquids and an external evaluation unit, which is designed to be exchangeable so that, after the pump dispenser has been emptied, the evaluation unit can be attached to a new pump dispenser. The evaluation unit can be attached to the discharging head of the pump dispenser such that the evaluation unit detects an actuation button and can be partially displaced with same. LIQUID DISPENSER
20210121904 · 2021-04-29 ·

A discharge head for a liquid dispenser having a base, an actuation handle, a liquid inlet and a discharge opening. The discharge head has a pump mechanism which conveys liquid from a liquid store to the discharge opening. To control liquid to be discharged and/or inflowing air, the discharge head has a valve with a valve flap which closes a valve channel and transfers to an open position by a positive pressure that exceeds a threshold positive pressure. The discharge head has an effector element bearing on the handle and the base, which deforms when the handle is pressed down. The valve flap is designed and attached to the effector element such that the deformation of same acts on the valve flap so that the threshold positive pressure, beyond which the valve flap leaves its closed position, is at least 10% lower in an actuated end position than in a non-actuated end position.

Pump dispensers

A pump dispenser has a deformable pump chamber constituted by first and second part-chambers each having a respective resiliently deformable faceted chamber wall and a connecting conduit communicating between them. They may be moulded in one piece and require no separate restoring spring. The first and second part-chambers may be disposed in line between a pump body providing an inlet valve from a container and a movable actuator cap providing a valved outlet.
