Methods and devices for forming biomedical coatings using variable mixing rations of multi-part compositions
The present invention relates devices capable of continuous and simultaneous expression of components of a multi-part biomedical composition with variable mixing ratios. The device has at least two syringes that contain the inter-reactive components of the multi-part biomedical composition. At least the barrel of the first syringe has a first retention compartment having a cross-sectional area dimension that is larger than the cross-sectional area of a second retention compartment. The first piston has a cross-sectional dimension that matches the inside cross-sectional dimension of the small dimensioned retention compartment, while a ring-shaped gasket is located within the large dimensioned retention compartment and has an outside cross-sectional dimension that matches an interior dimension of the large dimension retention compartment.
DUAL DISPENSER
A dual dispenser having two pumps (P1, P2) associated with two reservoirs, each pump having a pump body (P10, P20) and an actuator rod (P11, P21) axially movable over an axial stroke; and a dispenser head including a dispenser orifice (O) for dispensing the fluids coming from the actuator rods (P11, P21). The dispenser head has a cap (1) mounted on the actuator rods (P11, P21) and that forms the dispenser orifice (O); a pusher (2) mounted on the cap (1) so as to move it axially downwards and upwards, the pusher (2) also being mounted on the cap (1) so as to turn relative thereto; and an adjustment insert (3) arranged below the cap (1) and that is secured to the pusher (2) to turn with it, the cap (1) coming into abutment against the adjustment insert (3), limiting the axial stroke of the actuator rods (P11, P21).
ETHER AMINES FOR ENHANCED SPORICIDAL PERFORMANCE
A composition and method are used to treat articles suspected of contamination with bacterial spores. The composition and method are effective against bacterial spores selected from C. diff., C. botulinum, C. sporogenes, B. cereus, and B. subtilis. The article can be a textile or a hard surface. The method includes preparing a first use solution by mixing ether amine in water and a second use solution by mixing percarboxylic acid in water; applying the first use solution to the article; and applying the second use solution to the article. An alternative method includes preparing a mixture of ether amine, percarboxylic acid, and water, and applying the mixture to the article.
Device for dispensing a plurality of fluid products
A device for dispensing fluid products includes one or more containers, each storing one fluid product, a unique pump provided with a dosage chamber enclosing a dose of mixture of the fluid products, and including an actuating member, and a manifold associating the pump to the containers for dispensing the fluid products. The manifold includes one or more hollow tubes each extending into a container and forming a channel for the flow of the fluid product from the container towards the pump. As well, the tubes of the manifold are rigid and at least one tube of the manifold includes means for regulating the volumetric ratio of the fluid product flow, these regulating means being integrated inside the rigid tube.
Fabric treating accessories and associated use thereof
An apparatus includes a dispensing bottle including a reservoir and a spray nozzle in fluid communication therewith, and a homogenous solution housed within the reservoir. Such a homogenous solution includes between 40% and 45%, by weight, of a wrinkle remover; between 40% and 45%, by weight, of a fabric softener; and between 10% and 20%, by weight, of a viscosity reducer. Advantageously, the solution is an aqueous mixture having a viscosity level between 1.0 and 2.0 centipoise at 25 degrees Celsius wherein, upon actuating the spray nozzle, the solution is caused to expel outwardly and away from the reservoir due to its low viscosity characteristics.
FLUID APPLICATION SYSTEM
A sprayer system includes a sprayer head, at least two reservoirs, and a gripping portion. The reservoirs hold constituent components of a product. The product is emitted from a nozzle included in the sprayer head. The emission of the product results in the depletion of the components of one of the reservoirs to a greater extent than the remaining at least one reservoir and changes the center of gravity of the sprayer system.
Fluid application system
A container includes a reservoir holding a non-pressurized product. A metering device and valve assembly are within the reservoir. The valve assembly includes a product intake conduit and a spring biased valve stem. The valve stem is at least one of an upwardly extending conduit or reciprocating conduit, which is in fluid communication with the product intake conduit.
System for spraying a dispensable material and methods relating thereto
According to one aspect of the invention, a method for directing the use of a sprayer includes the step of directing a user to affix a sprayer to a neck of a water bottle (114) via an attachment mechanism (112). The method further includes the step of directing the user to adjust the attachment mechanism (112) to change the internal geometry thereof and attach the sprayer to the neck of the bottle.
FLUID PRODUCT DISPENSER
The invention relates to a dispenser comprising: a pump (P) comprising a pump body (P1) defining an inlet (P3), a cap (1) rigidly connected to two reservoirs, the cap (1) forming a reception cavity (10), the cap (1) defining at least two connecting ducts (16, 151) each connecting one reservoir respectively, characterised in that the dispenser further comprises an endpiece (2) rigidly connected to the pump body (P1), the endpiece (2) defining an interior space (20) which communicates with the inlet (P3) and at least two through-holes (241, 261) which connect the outside of the endpiece (2) with the interior space (20) thereof, the endpiece (2) being rotatably mounted in the reception cavity (10) in order to establish fluid paths between the connecting ducts (16, 151) of the cap (1) and the through-holes (241, 261) of the endpiece (2).
