Fluid sprayer and components of a fluid sprayer

An air-assisted airless spray gun includes a valve cartridge configured to control a flow of air or spray fluid through the spray gun. The valve cartridge includes a housing configured to interface with the spray gun body and fully supporting the flow control components of the valve cartridge. The housing is secured within a bore of the spray gun body. The valve member is supported by the housing and actuatable relative to a seat. The valve is formed between the seal end of the valve member and the seat.

A spray gun for a plural component system is provided. The spray gun includes a first component delivery line and a second component delivery line. The spray gun also includes a nozzle, configured to receive and mix a first component received from the first component delivery line with a second component received from the second component delivery line. The spray gun also includes an air purge system configured to, when the spray gun is in a non-actuated position, purge the nozzle of the first and second components and, when the spray gun is in an actuated position, aid in atomization of the mixture of the first and second components.

Hand held fluid dispensing apparatus

A spray gun for dispensing fluids is provided. The spray gun provides a plurality of trigger members for activating a valve of the gun and enabling dispensation of a fluid. At least some of the trigger members can be provided in force transmitting communication with at least one additional trigger member, such that activation of any one or more of the trigger members is capable of enabling dispensation of a fluid.

Low Pressure Plural Component Spray System and Foams Generated Therefrom

The disclosure provides methods for preparing a plural component material where part A and part B supplies are delivered from unpressurized storage containers. In use, a continuous stream of high velocity air moves through the static mixing nozzle, and the material streams may be intermittently moved into the nozzle and aerated with an air supply to cause the A and B materials to be mixed with each other and moved with the air to form the plural component materials. The plural component materials are delivered from a static mixing nozzle at pressures of less than 300 psi. Spray guns configured for preparing the plural component materials are also disclosed. Polyurethane foams, polyurethane adhesives, and polyurea coatings prepared by the methods are further provided.

SPRAYER AND PRESSURE WASHER COMPRISING SPRAYER

A pressure washer for dispensing either water or a water-chemical mixture includes an injector for injecting chemical into water flowing through a hose at a relatively high flow rate. A sprayer connected to the hose has a passage having one upstream, one middle, and first and second downstream portions. The first downstream portion is connected to a high pressure conduit and the second downstream portion is connected to a high flow conduit less resistance to fluid flow than the high pressure conduit. A valve between the upstream portion and the middle portion selectively allows fluid flow to the middle portion of the passage. Another valve between the middle portion and downstream portion selectively allows flow to the second downstream portion and high flow conduit. Otherwise the valve directs flow through only the first downstream portion and high pressure conduit, which limits flow rate so as not to activate the injector.

POWERED LIQUID SPRAYER

A portable, battery-powered liquid sprayer is operable to eject liquids. The sprayer includes a power unit including a base having a motor housed therein. The sprayer further includes a sprayer tank including a reservoir, an outlet fluidly connected with the reservoir, and a pump fluidly connected with the reservoir and the outlet. The sprayer tank is configured for selective engagement with the power unit. When the sprayer tank engages the power unit, the motor is operable to selectively drive the pump to pump liquid from the reservoir for ejection through the outlet.

A fluid applicator configured to deliver fluid at a pressure is provided. The fluid applicator comprises an inlet and an outlet. The fluid applicator also comprises a fluid path extending from the inlet to the outlet. The fluid enters the inlet and exits the outlet at the pressure. The fluid applicator also comprises a trigger configured to, when actuated, facilitate the fluid flow through the fluid path. The fluid applicator also comprises a locking mechanism configured to extend through a body of the fluid applicator, and configured to transition between a locked position and an unlocked position. In an unlocked position, the trigger can actuate and, in a locked position, the trigger is inhibited from actuating.
