Disc for a separating conveyor screen and separating conveyor screen including such a disc
A disc for a separating conveyor screen has a disc body with an opening in an axial direction for receiving a shaft. At least one anchoring member of the disc has an anchoring portion projecting into the opening in a radially inward direction and has a positioning portion fitted in a disc body of the disc. The anchoring portion has at least one projection in circumferential sense of the opening for anchoring in at least one recess in an outside surface of the shaft. At least one tensioner is provided for tensioning the anchoring member and the disc body radially towards each other. A separating conveyor screen equipped with such discs is also described.
SEPARATOR FOR A FRUIT COLLECTION UNIT
A separator for separating harvested fruit from other plant matter. The separator can be fitted to, positioned above, or integrated with, a collection bin and as such allows for material harvested by an automatic fruit harvester to be processed prior to deposition of the fruit in the collection bin.
Sorting screen for sorting material and rotor body for such a sorting screen
A sorting screen for sorting material comprises a row of rotatable, driven shafts mutually spaced in a conveying direction. Each shaft extends transversally to said conveying direction and carries carrying a row of radially extending rotor bodies for intermittently urging material on the sorting screen upward and in conveying direction. The rotor bodies of each of said rows are mutually spaced in longitudinal direction of the respective shaft by spacers. Each spacer is a tubular spacer and each rotor body is provided with at least a recess or a number of projections retaining a respective end face of a respective tubular spacer.
MODULAR STAR FOR GRADING, CLEANING, AND TRANSPORTING PRODUCE
A modular star system for grading, cleaning, and transporting produce includes opposing, first and second hub modules with opposing, tapered surfaces, and plural finger modules separated by the first and second hub modules. Each finger module has finger members that are color-coded and the finger module and first and second hub modules are disposed on a rotatable shaft. Outer surfaces of either of the finger or hub modules are color-coded, and are substantially perpendicular to the long axis of the shaft. There is also a method of using the modular star system for grading, cleaning, and transporting produce.
Riddling device for riddling materials and riddling bucket comprising said device
Device (100) for riddling materials such as, for instance, inert materials arising from demolitions or the like or inert materials for the building industry such as gravels, sands or the like, comprising at least two riddling rollers or drums (103, 102), wherein at least one of them can be moved with respect to the other so that the distance between the axis of rotation of said at least two rollers or drums can be changed according to the needs and/or circumstances.
SYSTEM, APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR SEPARATING MATERIALS USING A SCREEN BED AND VACUUM
An apparatus/system for separating a mixture of solid materials has a screening bed, an expansion chamber in gaseous communication with the screening bed, a filter in gaseous communication with the expansion chamber, an air flow producer in fluid communication with the filter. The screening bed includes a star-shaped agitators and the air flow is a vacuum from the screening bed through pathway.
Sorting element for a sorting device
The invention relates to a sorting element for a sorting device. The sorting element comprises a substrate from which a multitude of fingers project. The fingers are arranged on the substrate along a first helical line.
APPARATUS FOR SEPARATING USABLE CROP FROM INTERMIXED DEBRIS
An apparatus for separating usable crop from intermixed debris, the apparatus having: a movable support; a conveying system on the movable support to convey usable crop in a processing path from an upstream input location to a downstream output location; at least a first separating system on the movable support to cause separation of debris intermixed with usable crop in a first manner as usable crop is conveyed; a vacuum system on the movable support downstream of the first separating system to generate a low pressure volume which causes additional debris intermixed with the usable crop to be drawn away from the usable crop; and a collection container on the movable support configured to accumulate debris drawn away from the conveying usable crop. The movable support, conveying system, at least first separating system, vacuum system, and collection container define a unit that can be moved to relocate the apparatus.
Screening Apparatus
The present invention relates to a screen for accepting waste material, the waste material comprising fines and oversize material, wherein the screen comprises: a trough with a top opening, a base opening for discharging the fines material and an oversize material outlet for discharging the oversize material; driven elongate rotating members for causing movement of the waste material, wherein each rotating member comprises a shaft and a plurality of mutually parallel blades, wherein each blade independently has a plurality of radial protrusions which act on the material during the movement thereof, wherein for one or more blades on each shaft independently, at least one of the radial protrusions on the or each blade is an extended radial protrusion, wherein the material to be screened is introduced at one end of the shafts and expelled at the other end, characterised in that each elongate rotating member independently is held and rotatably mounted at both ends, wherein the driven elongate rotating members comprise a first plurality of driven elongate rotating members disposed in a first arc along one side and along at least a portion of the base of the trough for causing circular or helical flow of the waste material and a second plurality of driven elongate rotating members disposed in a second arc along the other side of the trough and along at least a portion of the base of the trough for causing circular or helical flow of the waste material, wherein, for each plurality of driven elongate rotating members, at least one elongate rotating member runs at a different speed to the other elongate rotating members, and wherein the speed of the elongate rotating members does not decrease towards the top opening of the trough.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR SORTING STRING MATERIAL FROM WASTE
Sorting string material from waste in a cyclic succession including a waste sorting stage and a string removal stage. In the waste sorting stage, a string catcher shaft carrying radially projecting string catching members is rotated, while feeding waste into contact with the rotating string catching members. The string catching members catch string material from the waste, winding-up the string material and allowing a remainder of the waste material to pass by. In the string removal stage, at least the string catching members or the string cutters pass closely, one along the other, the string cutters cutting off string material caught by the string catching members. Then, the string catcher shaft and the string cutting structure are returned into an operating position in which the string cutters are spaced from the string catching members. An apparatus and a rotor body for use therein are also described.
