Bottle cap thread rinsing system
10464109 · 2019-11-05 ·

Systems and methods for rinsing beverage residue from a mechanical interface between threads of a bottle and threads of a bottle cap is described. The bottle cap may include a sealable coating to create a seal against a rim of the bottle. The bottle cap may also include passages to allow pressurized water to be injected into an upper inner region of the bottle cap. The pressurized water is prevented from entering the bottle due to the seal between the rim of the bottle and the sealable coating of the bottle cap. Therefore, the pressurized water is caused to escape through the mechanical thread interface toward a lower inner region of the bottle cap where the water escapes from the cap at atmospheric pressure.

An automated system and method for washing bins. The system includes an infeed conveyor zone having a first conveyor platform for transporting the bins in a conveying direction. The system also includes a bin rotator disposed next to the infeed conveyor zone and rotates upward to allow the bins to be flipped and then loaded onto the first conveyor platform. The system further includes a bin washer zone located downstream from the infeed conveyor zone and having a second conveyor platform for receiving and transporting the bins in the conveying direction. The bin washer zone has sprayers for washing and sanitizing the bins with pressurized liquid. A flipping zone is located downstream from the bin washer zone for allowing the bins to be flipped and transferred onto an outfeed zone that allows the bins to be transported into a loading position at the end of the outfeed zone for reuse.

ANNULAR NOZZLE

A cleaning apparatus for pharmaceutical containers, comprising means for feeding containers into and means for discharging containers from the cleaning apparatus, a transport apparatus for transporting containers within the cleaning apparatus, at least one holder for holding containers during a cleaning process, and one or more cleaning stations. Each holder holds a container such that a longitudinal axis of the container extends substantially in a vertical direction. Each cleaning station comprises at least one substantially cylindrically formed annular nozzle configured to completely surround a container during the cleaning process. Each cleaning station is provided on its inner side with a first row of outlet openings disposed circumferentially in a first vertical position, and is configured to discharge a cleaning medium substantially identically inwardly and downwardly at an angle to a horizontal axis and at an angle to a radial direction to form a cyclone of cleaning medium.

APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR RINSING THE INTERIOR OF A CONTAINER
20240246125 · 2024-07-25 ·

An apparatus for rinsing the interior of a container, for example a drinks bottle in a drink filling installation, includes a container receiving member for receiving a container that is configured to hold the container at least for a rinsing operation in a predetermined position in which the container is orientated with respect to a longitudinal axis of the container and/or a centre axis of the container opening with respect to gravitational acceleration at an inclination angle with a downwardly directed container opening and a rinsing nozzle for introducing a jet of rinsing fluid through the container opening into the container. The rinsing nozzle is arranged and configured to introduce the jet of rinsing fluid into the container opening in a state orientated at an introduction angle with respect to the longitudinal axis of the container and/or the centre axis of the container opening. A corresponding method is described.
