METHOD FOR FIXING STEERING SUPPORT, DEVICE FOR FIXING STEERING SUPPORT, AND METHOD FOR CHECKING DEFORMATION OF INSTRUMENT PANEL REINFORCEMENT BODY
A method for fixing a steering support capable of improving efficiency when the steering support is fixed to an instrument panel reinforcement body is provided. The method for fixing the steering support according to one aspect of the present disclosure includes processes of: passing an instrument panel reinforcement body through a first through-hole formed in a steering support; and increasing the pressure inside an area of the instrument panel reinforcement body covered with the steering support, plastically deforming the area of the instrument panel reinforcement body from an inside to an outside, and pressing a circumferential surface of the first through-hole of the steering support by an outer circumferential surface of the area of the instrument panel reinforcement body.
Joining method for members
The joining method for members according to the present invention includes: providing an aluminum component including an insertion hole provided with a rib in at least part of an edge part, and a hollow steel pipe; inserting the steel pipe into the insertion hole of the aluminum component; and expanding and deforming the steel pipe to join the steel pipe to the aluminum component by press-fitting.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR JOINING MEMBERS
A method for joining members according to the present invention includes: providing a first member, a second member, a guide shaft member, a rubber member, a first plunger, a second plunger, and a drive mechanism; inserting the second member into a hole portion of the first member; inserting the guide shaft member into a through-hole of the rubber member; inserting the rubber member, into which the guide shaft member is inserted, inside the second member; arranging an assembly in which the first member, the second member, the rubber member, and the guide shaft member so as to horizontally extend; arranging the assembly so as to be sandwiched by the first plunger and the second plunger; and moving the second plunger toward the first plunger; compressing the rubber member by the first plunger and the second plunger in a direction where the guide shaft member extends, and expanding the rubber member radially outside the guide shaft member; and thus expanding and deforming at least a portion of the second member that is inserted into the hole portion to join the portion to the first member by press-fitting.
MEMBER JOINING DEVICE AND MEMBER JOINING METHOD
The member joining device includes: a tubular unit including a tubular assembly that is fixed, a flange portion whose position in a first central axis direction is fixed with respect to the tubular assembly; a shaft unit that includes a shaft assembly inserted into the tubular assembly in a linearly movable manner, and a protrusion portion whose position in a second central axis direction is fixed with respect to the shaft assembly, wherein the protrusion portion is positioned radially outside the first central axis of the tubular assembly, the protrusion portion faces the flange portion in the central axis direction; a rubber member arranged radially outside the tubular assembly, between the protrusion portion and the flange portion in the central axis direction; and a motion mechanism that moves the shaft unit in the central axis direction with respect to the tubular unit.
METHOD FOR JOINING MEMBERS AND JOINED BODY
In a method for joining members, a first tube, and a second tube capable of being inserted into the first tube are prepared. The second tube is inserted in a tube hole of the first tube in an axial direction of the first tube. The second tube is radially expanded toward the first tube so that the first tube and the second tube are joined by press-fitting. The first tube is made of a material having a spring back amount larger than a spring back amount of the second tube.
JOINING METHOD FOR MEMBERS
A joining method for members according to the present invention includes: providing a steel component including insertion holes, an aluminum pipe having a hollow shape, and a support component; inserting the aluminum pipe into the insertion holes of the steel component; and enlarging the aluminum pipe through deformation and joining the aluminum pipe to the steel component by press-fitting. The press-fit joining is performed while at least part of the support component is disposed in a press-fitting region.
VEHICLE STRUCTURAL MEMBER AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME
A vehicle structural member includes an elongate hollow member having an integrated structure, and supporting members joined to the elongate hollow member. The elongate hollow member includes: a first portion that includes a first pipe, a second pipe disposed outside the first pipe and extending along the first pipe, and a connection portion extending along the first pipe and the second pipe, formed integrally with the first pipe and the second pipe, and connecting the first pipe and the second pipe; and a second portion that includes the first pipe continuing from the first portion, and does not include the second pipe.
Joined body and method for producing same
A joined body includes a tubular first member, and a second member including a plate-shaped wall portion in which a through-hole is formed, the first member being inserted into the through-hole. The collar member is interposed between the first member and the second member in at least a part of the hole peripheral wall of the through-hole. The first member and the second member are joined by expanding the first member at a portion corresponding to the through-hole.
METHOD FOR JOINING MEMBERS AND JOINED BODY
A method for joining members according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: providing a bumper stay including two integrated pipe portions extending in an identical direction, the bumper stay including a recess provided between the pipe portions being adjacent to each other, the recess extending in a longitudinal direction of the pipe portions from end surfaces of the pipe portions, a part of the recess serving as a locking portion, and a bumper beam including a rear inclined wall formed with two hole portions into which the pipe portions of the bumper stay are insertable respectively; inserting the bumper stay into the hole portions of the bumper beam until the locking portion abuts on the rear inclined wall; and pipe-expanding an insertion portion of the bumper stay into the bumper beam to join the insertion portion to the bumper beam by press-fitting.
Conveyor pulley, process for producing a roller tube and deforming tool
According to the present invention, a conveyor pulley for use in a belt conveyor is provided, comprising: a roller tube (1); wherein the roller tube (1) is formed by plastically deforming a central portion of a substantially cylindrical metal tube (2) radially outwardly so as to form a crowned portion (4) having an enlarged outer diameter (OD.sub.ENL) with respect to remaining portions (6) of the metal tube (2).
