Structure and method for producing same
A structure includes: a first member made of metal having a tubular shape, and having a through-insertion hole; a second member made of resin and joined to the first member; and a third member made of metal having a tubular shape, and inserted through inside the first member. The third member is tube-expanded toward the first member and joined to the first member by press-fitting.
Spherical decoupler conduit
A spherical decoupler conduit for connecting misaligned components, and a method for making the same, where the spherical decoupler includes an inlet connection with a first spherical portion; an outer slider with a second spherical portion for pivotably mating with the first spherical portion and a tubular portion; an inner slider having a tubular portion in a telescoping relationship with the tubular portion of the outer slider and a third spherical portion; and an outlet connection with a fourth spherical portion for pivotably mating with the third spherical portion.
METHOD FOR JOINING MEMBERS
In the present invention, a method for joining members involves preparing a steel component having a bottom wall in which a hole is provided, and a hollow aluminum pipe. The aluminum pipe is slipped through the hole in the steel component and passed through the bottom wall, rubber is inserted into the interior of the aluminum pipe, and the rubber is compressed in the direction of the axis (L) of the aluminum pipe and induced to distend towards the outside from the inside. As a result of the foregoing, at least a section of the aluminum pipe slipped through the hole is induced to undergo expansion and is joined by clinching to the bottom wall. This method for joining members reduces the load on the members, improves the joint strength, and enables two members to be joined at reduced cost.

METHOD FOR JOINING MEMBERS, AND JOINT BODY
A method for joining members includes: providing a wall surface body which is a die-molded article provided with a hole portion with a draft angle provided from its opposite end portions toward its center portion, a tubular body with a hollow shape, and an elastic body; inserting the tubular body into the hole portion in the wall surface body; inserting the elastic body into the inside of the tubular body; and compressing the elastic body in the direction of an axial line L of the tubular body to expand the elastic body outwardly in the radial direction of the axial line L, thereby deforming and expanding the tubular body to joint the tubular body to the wall surface body by press-fitting.
METHOD FOR JOINING MEMBERS
In a method for joining members of the present invention, a B-pillar, a rocker, a side panel served as frame members of a vehicle body, and an elastic body are provided. The B-pillar includes a tubular portion and an extension portion extended from the tubular portion. The rocker includes a first hole portion. The side panel includes a support portion. Next, the tubular portion of the B-pillar is inserted into the first hole portion of the rocker. The elastic body is inserted into the tubular portion of the rocker. The elastic body is pressurized in an axial line L1 direction of the tubular portion of the B-pillar to be expanded outward in a radial direction of the axial line L1, so that the tubular portion of the B-pillar is expanded and deformed to be joined to the first hole portion of the rocker by press-fitting. Further, the extension portion of the B-pillar and the support portion of the side panel are joined by a method different from joining by press-fitting.
VEHICLE STRUCTURAL MEMBER AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
A vehicle structural member 1 includes a tube body having an expanded tube portion that is partially expanded, and a wall surface body having a first wall provided with a first through-hole, a second wall provided with a second through-hole, and a connecting wall connecting the first wall and the second wall. The tube body is inserted through the first through-hole and the second through-hole, and is joined to the wall surface body by being pressure welded to the first through-hole and the second through-hole. The expanded tube portion is provided only between the first wall and the second wall.
JOINING METHOD AND JOINT STRUCTURE OF MEMBERS
Disclosed is a joining method of members, which includes the steps of: preparing a first member in which a first hole portion having a polygonal cross-sectional shape is formed, and a second member having a hollow shape, wherein the second member has a cross-sectional shape corresponding to the polygonal cross-sectional shape of the first hole portion, the second member including a plurality of straight line portions extending linearly and corner portions positioned between the adjacent two straight line portions in the cross-sectional shape; inserting the second member into the first hole portion of the first member; and caulking and joining the second member to the first member by enlarging and deforming the corner portions.
JOINING METHOD FOR MEMBERS
The joining method for members according to the present invention includes: providing an aluminum component including an insertion hole provided with a rib in at least part of an edge part, and a hollow steel pipe; inserting the steel pipe into the insertion hole of the aluminum component; and expanding and deforming the steel pipe to join the steel pipe to the aluminum component by press-fitting.
METHOD FOR JOINING MEMBERS, AND COMPOSITE ELASTIC BODY USED IN SAID METHOD
A first member provided with a hole, a second member having a tubular shape, and a composite elastic body obtained by combining at least two types of elastic bodies having different hardness are prepared, the second member is inserted into the hole of the first member, the composite elastic body is inserted into the second member, and the composite elastic body is pressed to cause the second member to bulge out, thereby joining the first member and the second member by press-fitting.
