FISHING LURE AND APPARATUS AND METHOD OF MAKING THE SAME
20200346379 · 2020-11-05 ·

A fishing lure and apparatus and method of making the same. A fishing lure according to aspects of the invention include a lure body formed about a through wire. Eye loops are provided at opposed ends of the trough wire to attach a tackle element for catching a game fish. An optional decorative layer is applied to the lure body to mimic the visual appearance of a bait. A clear protective shell is molded about the lure body to encapsulate the lure body and protect the lure body, and optional decorative layer from damage. The apparatus includes a first and second mold, with the first mold forming the lure body in the shape of the bait and the second mold forming the clear protective shell about the lure body.

Fishing Hook Guide and Float Deflector

COUNTER ROTATING SPINNER BLADE CLEVIS
20200267954 · 2020-08-27 ·

A clevis body adapted to support one or a pair of spinner blades in combination on a filamentary support to produce a periodic cyclical counter rotation of the clevis and spinner blade assemblies when directed through water. A bore at a longitudinal core receives the filamentary support. At least one cross arm laterally radiates from the core and mounts to at least one spinner blade support arm that extends parallel to the core. One or a pair of spinner blades mounted to the longitudinal support arm(s) periodically and cyclically counter rotate the assembly about the filamentary support. The hydrodynamic movement of the clevis body and attached blades particularly induce the assembly to cyclically and periodically change back and forth between clockwise and counter-clockwise rotation directions.

Oscillating standup jig
20200187471 · 2020-06-18 ·

This novel invention for a bladed jig creates a unique swimming motion for attached baits when retrieved and stands up when at rest on the bottom underneath water. The bladed jig when retrieve at a rate to maintain the jig near the water's surface or partially above the surface creates a swimming bait motion and wake on the water's surface. Additionally, the bladed jig has an oscillating motion when jigged upwards and when released to descend toward the bottom underneath water to attract fish.

ANACONDA RATTLER FISHING TACKLE
20200170231 · 2020-06-04 ·

An apparatus and methods relating to Anaconda Rattler tackle, a new type of lure that includes an audible generator (such as a rattle) attached to a bent blade to form wings and a lift surface, the wings may be formed in a direction generally the same as a direction of the lift surface or an opposite direction to the lift surface. The audible generator has some freedom of movement relative to the blade, allowing various noise profiles to be produced depending upon the type of audible generator chosen and the degree of bend in the blade. The blade may also have various holes to secure it to a wire and to change its hydrodynamic profile.

A fishing lure device that produces an increased amount of energy imparted on attached fish-attracting devices by incorporating gears for rotating parts attached to the fish-attracting devices. The fishing lure device can include a first and second gear interacting with one another at a predetermined gear ratio for creating a desired rotation of the fish-attracting devices.
