One of the first and second toothed elements is connected to a machine frame, and the other of the first and second toothed elements is connected to the movement unit. The first and second toothed elements are moved relative to each other along a movement axis of the first and second toothed elements by the drive motor via a meshing between the first and second tooth arrangements and via an engagement between the first and second tooth arrangements along an engagement axis that extends perpendicularly to the movement axis.

SWIVEL BENDING MACHINE
A swivel bending machine has, in front of a front side of a workpiece holding unit, a support table for workpieces to be bent. A workpiece manipulator picks up workpieces to be bent from at least one table end region and takes the workpieces, in parallel with the longitudinal direction of a bending beam, to a portion in the longitudinal center of the workpiece holding unit. The workpiece manipulator has a first pair of clamping tongs and, spaced apart from the first pair in the longitudinal direction of the bending beam, a second pair of clamping tongs for clamping a workpiece. At least one pair of clamping tongs has a first stop surface for referencing workpiece positioning in relation to the longitudinal direction of the bending beam and a second stop surface for referencing positioning of this workpiece in relation to a depth direction of the swivel bending machine.

A method of manufacturing a press-formed product includes a heating step, a transportation step, and a pressing step. At the heating step, workpieces are heated while a first workpiece W1 is placed on a first group of struts 3 extending upward from a tray body 2, and a second workpiece W2 is placed on a second group of struts 3 to be located above the first workpiece W1 and overlap it. At the transportation step, the second workpiece W2, while located above the first workpiece W1 and overlapping it, is transported, together with the tray body 2, from the heating device 14 to the lifting location. At the lifting location, the second workpiece W2 is lifted upward by the transportation device 46 and the first workpiece W1 is lifted by the transportation device 46 before they are transported to their respective pressing locations.
SUCTION CUP GRIPPING SYSTEM
A suction cup gripping system has suction cup gripping devices each provided with a gripping suction cup having an internal cavity, a Venturi vacuum generator connectable to a compressed air line and connected to the internal cavity to generate therein a partial vacuum, a release valve connected to the internal cavity and operable to connect the internal cavity to an external environment or the compressed air line to eliminate the partial vacuum in the internal cavity, and a check valve interposed between Venturi vacuum generator and internal cavity. The gripping system includes a valve system connected to the Venturi vacuum generators and the release valves, a manifold connected to the internal cavities, a vacuum sensor connected to the manifold, and a control unit configured to control the valve system.

A suction cup gripping system has suction cup gripping devices each provided with a gripping suction cup having an internal cavity, a Venturi vacuum generator connectable to a compressed air line and connected to the internal cavity to generate therein a partial vacuum, a release valve connected to the internal cavity and operable to connect the internal cavity to an external environment or the compressed air line to eliminate the partial vacuum in the internal cavity, and a check valve interposed between Venturi vacuum generator and internal cavity. The gripping system includes a valve system connected to the Venturi vacuum generators and the release valves, a manifold connected to the internal cavities, a vacuum sensor connected to the manifold, and a control unit configured to control the valve system.
