The present invention provides a sintered metal friction material that has excellent wear resistance, heat resistance even at high load and has a higher friction coefficient while maintaining a friction coefficient and wear resistance that are hard to decrease, and has a reduced content of copper of less than 5 mass %. There is provided a sintered metal friction material characterized in that the sintered metal friction material comprises a sintered material of a friction material composition, the friction material composition comprises matrix metals and a friction modifier, the matrix metals comprise following 20 to 40 mass % of iron powder, 20 to 40 mass % of nickel powder, 0.5 to 10 mass % of zinc powder, 0.5 to 5 mass, of tin powder, 0.5 to 4 mass % of copper powder and 0.5 to 5 mass % of sintering assist powder.
Laminate shaped article, method for manufacturing the same, and metal powder for laminate shaping
Provided are a laminate shaped article made of a maraging steel and having excellent toughness, a method for manufacturing the same, and a metal powder for laminate shaping. The laminate shaped article is made of a maraging steel comprising 0.1-5.0 mass % of Ti. When sis is performed on concentration distribution of Ti in a cross section parallel to a lamination direction of the above laminate shaped article, a length of a linear Ti-rich portion having a Ti concentration B of (1.5×A) or more with respect to an average Ti concentration A in the cross section is 15 μm or less. In addition, the method for manufacturing the laminate shaped article uses a metal powder made of a maraging steel comprising 0.1-5.0 mass % of Ti, and a heat source output is set to 50-330 W and a scanning speed is set to 480-3000 mm/sec during the laminate shaping.
HIGH-STRENGTH ALUMINIUM ALLOYS FOR STRUCTURAL APPLICATIONS, WHICH ARE PROCESSABLE BY ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING
The present invention relates to pulverulent aluminium alloys having Cu, Zn or Si/Mg as the most relevant alloying element, the alloy further having a content of 1 to 15 wt. % of metals selected from the group M1 comprising Mo, Nb, Zr, Fe, Ti, Ta, V, and lanthanides. Such aluminium alloys can be used in additive manufacturing processes such as selective laser melting for the production of high-strength and hot-crack-free three-dimensional objects. The present invention further relates to methods and devices for producing three-dimensional objects from such aluminium alloys, methods for producing such pulverulent aluminium alloys, three-dimensional objects also produced from such pulverulent aluminium alloys, and specific aluminium alloys.

A production method for water-atomized metal powder includes: in a region in which the average temperature of a molten metal stream having an Fe concentration of 76.0 at % or more and less than 82.9 at % is 100° C. or more higher than the melting point, spraying primary cooling water at a convergence angle of 10° to 25°, where the convergence angle is an angle between an impact direction on the molten metal stream from one direction and an impact direction on the molten metal stream from any other direction; and in a region in which 0.0004 seconds or more have passed after an impact of the primary cooling water and the average temperature of metal powder is the melting point or higher and (the melting point+100° C.) or lower, spraying secondary cooling water on the metal powder under conditions of an impact pressure of 10 MPa or more.

An improved atomized powder metal material containing an increased amount of free graphite after heat treatment and/or sintering is provided. The powder metal material is typically a ferrous alloy and includes carbon in an amount of 1.0 wt. % to 6.5 wt. % and silicon in an amount of 0.1 wt. % to 6.0 wt. %, based on the total weight of the powder metal material. The powder metal material can also include various other alloying elements, for example at least one of nickel (Ni), cobalt (Co), copper (Cu), tin (Sn), aluminum (Al), sulfur (S), phosphorous (P), boron (B), nitrogen (N), chromium (Cr), manganese (Mn), molybdenum (Mo), vanadium (V), niobium (Nb), tungsten (W), titanium (Ti), tantalum (Ta) zirconium (Zr), zinc (Zn), strontium (Sr), calcium (Ca), barium (Ba) magnesium (Mg), lithium (Li), sodium (Na), and potassium (K).

Nano dispersion copper alloy with high air-tightness and low free oxygen content and brief manufacturing process thereof
Disclosed is a nano dispersion copper alloy with high air-tightness and low free oxygen content and a brief manufacturing process thereof, wherein alloy comprises the following components: Al.sub.2O.sub.3, Ca and La. The manufacturing process comprises the following steps of: preparing Cu—Al.sub.2O.sub.3 alloy powder by an internal oxidation method; mixing the Cu—Al.sub.2O.sub.3 alloy powder with Cu—Ca—La alloy powder; sheathing the mixed powder under protection of argon; performing hot extrusion and then rotary forging; vacuumizing the sheath after the rotary forging; and sealing and placing the sheath in a nitrogen atmosphere with a temperature of 450° C. to 550° C. and a pressure intensity of 40 Mpa to 60 Mpa for 3 hours to 5 hours. The dispersion copper prepared by the present disclosure has the advantages of low free oxygen content (≤15 ppm), high dimensional stability, good air-tightness and an air leakage rate≤1.0×10.sup.−10 Pa m.sup.3/s after hydrogen annealing.

Disclosed is a nano dispersion copper alloy with high air-tightness and low free oxygen content and a brief manufacturing process thereof, wherein alloy comprises the following components: Al.sub.2O.sub.3, Ca and La. The manufacturing process comprises the following steps of: preparing Cu—Al.sub.2O.sub.3 alloy powder by an internal oxidation method; mixing the Cu—Al.sub.2O.sub.3 alloy powder with Cu—Ca—La alloy powder; sheathing the mixed powder under protection of argon; performing hot extrusion and then rotary forging; vacuumizing the sheath after the rotary forging; and sealing and placing the sheath in a nitrogen atmosphere with a temperature of 450° C. to 550° C. and a pressure intensity of 40 Mpa to 60 Mpa for 3 hours to 5 hours. The dispersion copper prepared by the present disclosure has the advantages of low free oxygen content (≤15 ppm), high dimensional stability, good air-tightness and an air leakage rate≤1.0×10.sup.−10 Pa m.sup.3/s after hydrogen annealing.
