The present disclosure relates to a tool magazine of a machine tool such as a moving column-type machining center, in which a magazine unit is installed on a saddle, a tool accommodated in a gripper part of the magazine unit is loaded or unloaded in a direction perpendicular to a tool axis, and a gripping part of a change arm directly grips a flange portion of the tool at the time of changing the tools by means of a tool changing part movably installed on the saddle and a tool changing part transfer part configured to move the tool changing part independently of a column, thereby reducing tool change time, improving productivity, minimizing a collision or mechanical interference, and improving stability and reliability in the medium-sized or large-sized machine tool having a length in a width direction.

A robotic tool changer system and a method for performing a tool change with the robotic tool changer system are disclosed. Providing a plurality of second coupling units each connected with a tool, wherein the second coupling units are detachably connected to a respective tool changer grippers; driving a first coupling unit along a second direction with a robot arm end shaft to be coupled with a selected second coupling unit; driving the first coupling unit coupled with the selected second coupling unit away from the corresponding tool changer gripper in a first direction, defining an angle between the first direction and the second direction; wherein when the selected second coupling unit is moved to the corresponding tool changer gripper and before the first coupling unit to separate from the selected second coupling unit, a third acting force is applied to the selected second coupling unit for restricting movement.

The bearing surface (51) has an opening (52), the diameter of which is greater than the diameter of the grinding disc (12). A separating element (53) is arranged above the opening (52). A system includes a device (1) for automatically changing grinding discs (12) containing a stacking device (10) and a detachment device (50).
System for changing and inserting tools into or presenting tools at a machine tool and tool magazine, also machine tool having a tool changing system or tool magazine
A system is provided for changing and inserting tools into or presenting tools at a machine tool. The system includes at least n rotatable tool magazines for receiving a plurality of tools, where n2, which are arranged in tandem in the direction of a rotational axis. At least one of the n tool magazines can be driven independently of the other tool magazines to perform a rotational movement about the rotational axis. The system further includes a manipulator for removing the tools from the magazine. The tools are held in tool mounts along the circumference of the n tool magazines such that the longitudinal axes of the tools in each case of one of the n tool magazines are located in one plane and project from the circumference of the tool magazine, and the tools can be moved along the circumference of the respective tool magazine.

An assembly including a tool (1) and packaging (2) for accommodating the tool (1). The tool (1) includes at least one machining head (3) for machining a workpiece (4), in particular a dental workpiece (4), by a machining unit (5), and a clamping portion (6) for securing the tool (1) in a chuck (7) of the machining unit (5) while the workpiece (4) is being machined. A tool pot includes a resin-made pot body and a metallic reinforcing member embedded in the pot body by insert molding. The reinforcing member is provided with a reinforcing plate embedded in a portion including a horizontal pin insertion portion in the pot body. To provide a tool transfer apparatus including gripping force measuring unit for tool holding unit of a tool accommodation apparatus and a machining system including the tool transfer apparatus, a handling robot can perform operation of detaching a tool from a grip positioned at a tool attachment/detachment position of a tool magazine in a machine tool and transferring the tool to a tool stocker, and operation of transferring a tool from the tool stocker and attaching the tool to a grip positioned at the tool attachment/detachment position of the tool magazine. A hand portion of the handling robot is provided with a force sensor, which can detect a load applied to the hand portion. Also, a control apparatus of the handling robot and a control apparatus of the machine tool are connected via a data cable capable of transmission and reception of information.

The invention relates to a clamping device (10) for a tool (18) on a machine tool having a holder block (12) with at least 2, in particular a multiplicity of, apertures (16) for receiving clamping sleeves (14), wherein at least two clamping sleeves (14) are received in the apertures (16). Each clamping sleeve (12) has a clamping element (36), with which a tool (18), in particular a shaft (20) of a tool (18), can be clamped. The clamping sleeve (14) at least partially passes through in each case the aperture (16) in the holder block (12) and has, at its end opposite the clamping element (36), the rear end, an expansion element (34) which engages behind the holder block (12) or a counter-support element (30) of the holder block (12).
Two-layer disk type tool magazine device
A two-layer disk type tool magazine device matched with a numerical control machine tool, comprises a tool magazine base, a tool magazine support, tool sleeve chucks, a tool disk base, tool sleeves and a tool alignment instrument. The tool magazine base is connected to and installed on the machine tool. The tool magazine support is connected to one end of the tool magazine base. The tool disk base is connected to the support by means of a bolt. The tool alignment instrument is installed at the other end of the tool magazine base. The two tool sleeve chucks are installed on the tool disk base and partitioned by a tool disk partition sleeve. The two layers of tool sleeve chucks clamp a tool sleeve base and are fixed by means of bolts. A tool disk pressing ring presses against the tool sleeve chuck on the upper layer.
