A first tool can be removed from or inserted into a first receiving position along a removal direction, and at least one further receiving position for receiving a further tool is provided.
MACHINING CENTER
A machining center including a machine main body, an upper section of which supports a head moving device and a head raising and lowering device, configured such that tool magazine 120 is stored inside the machine main body, and with a magazine moving device configured to move tool magazine 120 such that, during tool exchange, tool magazine 120 is advanced to protrude from a side of the machine main body, so that, from the multiple tool holders, the tool holder used for exchange is positioned inside the movement range of the main shaft by the head moving device, and wherein the entire tool magazine 120 is able to be moved beyond the movement range of the tool magazine by the magazine moving device to a position outside of the machine main body and detached from the machine main body.
TOOL STORAGE AND MACHINE TOOL
A tool storage includes a tool receiver, a tool magazine, and a tool carriage. The tool receiver is provided on a one side of a machine tool with respect to a workpiece holder of the machine tool along a machine tool direction and is configured to receive a tool from an outside of the machine tool. The tool magazine is provided on another side opposite to the one side with respect to the workpiece holder along the machine tool direction. The tool carriage is configured to carry the tool between the tool receiver and the tool magazine.
LOADING DEVICE, LOADING SYSTEM, TRANSPORT SYSTEM, INSTALLATION AND METHOD FOR LOADING THE INSTALLATION
A loading device for a loading of an installation, in particular a multi-clamping and measuring and/or presetting station for tools and/or tool holders, and/or a machine tool, in particular includes at least one handling robot, having at least tool holders and/or tool assemblies, having a rollable undercarriage unit and having a storage unit, arranged on the rollable undercarriage unit, for a storage of the tool holders and/or of the tool assemblies,
wherein the storage unit has at least one holding device at least for an oblique-positioned holding of the tool holders and/or of the tool assemblies relative to a put-up direction of the storage unit.
METHOD FOR OPTIMIZING THE OCCUPANCY OF MAGAZINE SPACES BY TOOLS IN A COMPUTER-SUPPORTED MANNER
Provided is a method for optimizing the occupancy of magazine spaces by tools within at least one tool magazine for a machine tool in a computer-supported manner, including: detecting a quantity of magazine spaces in at least one tool magazine, detecting a first quantity of tools which occupy at least one magazine space and the magazine spaces occupied by the tools, detecting a second quantity of tools which are to be additionally received in the at least one tool magazine, detecting the required space and optionally at least one other property for each tool, detecting a quantity of allowed magazines spaces for each tool, detecting a quantity of allowed magazine space pairs, wherein a first tool can be placed on a first magazine space of the magazine space pair, and optimizing the occupancy of the magazine spaces.
LOCKABLE TOOL CLAMP
A lockable tool clamp includes two jaw members and a pin together installed on a mount to clamp a tool holder securely. The jaw members each have a connecting portion and a jaw tip. The two connecting portions are overlapped and connected to the mount through a shaft. The pin when installed on the mount is parallel to the shaft, and passes through the two jaw members at a location different from where the shaft passes through the two jaw members. When the pin is in its unlocking position, the jaw members are allowed to pivot with respect to each other, so that the tool holder can be withdrawn or replaced by pushing the jaw tips apart. When the pin is in its locking position, the jaw members are restricted from pivoting with respect to each other. At this time, the tool holder is clamped between the jaw tips securely.
MACHINE TOOL
The present invention includes a tool magazine (10) storing a plurality of tools (T), a turret (3) to which a plurality of tools (T) are attached, and a tool changer (20) changing a tool (T) attached to the turret (3) for a tool (T) stored in the tool magazine (10). The tool changer (20) has two tool grippers for gripping tools (T) and replaces tools (T) attached to the turret (3) with one another using the two tool grippers based on tool information stored in a tool information storage (43) under control by a tool change control unit (42).
CENTRAL TOOL STORAGE DEVICE
The present invention relates to a central tool storage device WL with a tool storage S, containing a plurality of wheel magazines S3 positioned one behind the other, a movable manipulator S12 as well as a provisioning station S4 provided with a movable provisioning bar S4 and a mobile transport unit E, which, for providing tools W for a machine tool WM spaced apart, removes a tool W from the wheel magazines with the aid of the manipulator S12 and transfers it via the provisioning bar S4 to the provisioning station S2 of the mobile transport unit E to transport it to the respective machine tool WM without a guide or track, and which, for storing tools W received from at least one machine tool WM, transfers the tool W via the mobile transport unit E to the provisioning bar S4 of the provisioning station S2 and removes it from the provisioning bar S2 with the aid of the manipulator S12 and adds it to a wheel magazine S3 of the tool storage S.
MACHINE TOOL HAVING TWO TOOL SPINDLES
A machine tool is provided with two vertically oriented tool spindles that are arranged to hold tools and that are movable vertically in a first direction and horizontally in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction. Furthermore, the machine tool is provided with two workpiece support devices for clamping workpieces in place. At least one of the two workpiece support devices is movable horizontally in a third direction orthogonal to the first and the second direction. The two tool spindles and the two workpiece support devices are mounted on a common machine frame with a common working space, wherein the two tool spindles are movable parallel to one another in the second direction. The two tool spindles are facing one another.
