DUAL PAWL RATCHET MECHANISM
A ratchet mechanism of a ratchet wrench having a pawl carrier and first and second pawls. The pawl carrier includes a groove and is rotatable to cause selection of one of first and second drive directions. The first and second pawls are adapted to selectively engage with a toothed portion of a ratchet gear for selecting one of the first and second drive directions. Each of the first and second pawls includes a projection adapted to engage the groove when the pawl carrier is rotated to cause one of the first and second pawls to disengage from the toothed portion and the other of the first and second pawls to engage the toothed portion.
Dual ratcheting hand tool and methods of use
A dual ratcheting tool having multiple ratchet assemblies and handles for rotating adapters, sockets, and other tools is provided. The dual ratcheting tool includes an upper ratchet assembly independently rotationally and mechanically connected to a lower ratchet assembly; a drive member connected to the upper ratchet assembly and the lower ratchet assembly; an upper handle connected to the upper ratchet assembly, the upper handle having an upper directional switch to set a drive direction of the upper ratchet assembly; and a lower handle connected to the lower ratchet assembly, the lower handle having a lower directional switch to set a drive direction of the lower ratchet assembly. The upper and lower handles of the dual ratcheting tool can independently and in combination can drive a socket more quickly and efficiently than ratchets having a single ratchet assembly and handle.
ROLLER WRENCH
The invention relates to a roller wrench comprising: a body with a circular chamber; a driving member being a regular polygonal component capable of rotating in the chamber; and a plurality of rollers installed in the chamber, Each of the rollers is located between a side of the driving member and a peripheral wall of the chamber; one end of each of the rollers is pivotally connected to an end surface of a reversing knob, so that the reversing knob drives the rollers to displace simultaneously. Thereby, the components of the roller wrench can be effectively latched with one another, and a torque value of the roller wrench will not be reduced.
ROLLER WRENCH
The invention relates to a roller wrench comprising: a body with a circular chamber; a driving member being a regular polygonal component capable of rotating in the chamber; a plurality of rollers installed in the chamber, each of the rollers is located between a side of the driving member and a peripheral wall of the chamber;
and a reversing knob capable of driving the rollers to move in the chamber so that each of the rollers moves between two edges of each of the sides of the driving member; each of the sides of the driving member has a central area, a concave latching surface is respectively provided on two sides of the central area, and a concave state of each of the latching surfaces is gradually concaved inwardly from an inner side to an outer side; when each of the rollers is located on one edge of each of the sides, a peripheral surface of the roller contacts with the latching surface and the peripheral wall of the chamber, so that the body, the rollers and the driving member are latched with one another.
ROLLER WRENCH
The invention relates to a roller wrench comprising: a body with a circular chamber; a driving member being a regular polygonal component capable of rotating in the chamber; a plurality of rollers installed in the chamber, each of the rollers is located between a side of the driving member and a peripheral wall of the chamber; a reversing knob capable of driving the rollers to move in the chamber so that each of the rollers moves between two edges of each of sides of the driving member; and at least one elastic positioning component installed on one of the sides of the driving member, and capable of elastically moving into the driving member or protruding from a peripheral surface of the driving member; the elastic positioning component is moved into the driving member when being compressed; and is protruded from the driving member when not being acted on by an external force; and each of the elastic positioning components limits one of the rollers, thereby positioning the rollers and the reversing knob.
RATCHET SYSTEM FOR SCREWDRIVERS AND ITS USE
A click system. Also, a screwdriver that includes a ratchet system. The ratchet system includes at least one handle, at least one rod with a male distal end and a proximal end, an element of cooperation that includes at least two lugs and at least two grooves, each of the at least two grooves include a helical portion. The at least two lugs each cooperate in a predetermined rotation direction with one of the at least two grooves so as to allow the driving of the rod. The ratchet system may be used in mechanics, carpentry or surgery.
Torque wrench
A torque wrench includes a main body, a holder, an adjusting member, and at least one first washer. The main body has a receiving recess. The holder has a first threaded portion. The adjusting member is provided with a second threaded portion, a head portion, a first abutting face, a second abutting face, and an annular groove. The at least one first washer is mounted in the annular groove of the adjusting member. Thus, when the head portion is moved toward the holder by rotation of the second threaded portion relative to the first threaded portion, the at least one first washer is moved to abut the holder, thereby providing a buffering effect between the head portion and the holder, and thereby preventing the head portion from directly hitting the holder.
Switch device and ratchet wrench having the same
A switch device includes a shell, a ratchet wheel, a first pawl member, a second pawl member, a first biasing member, a second biasing member, a switch shaft, and a stop member. The shafting shaft is disposed to turnably engage a central segment of the stop member. Two lateral segments of the stop member are disposed respectively above the first and second pawl members, and respectively have two abutment edges that are disposed opposite to the ratchet wheel, and that are configured to be brought into abutting engagement with a surrounding wall of the shell so as to prevent the switch shaft from pulling out of the shell. A ratchet wrench having the switch device is also disclosed.
RATCHET WRENCH
A ratchet wrench includes a through hole defined through the head of the wrench and a recess is defined in the inner periphery of the through hole. A circular hole is defined through the head and communicates with the recess. A ratchet wheel is rotatably received in the through hole of the head. A pawl is movably located in the recess and engaged with the ratchet wheel. A switch member is rotatable inserted into the circular hole and has a lever located outside of the head of the wrench. A slot is defined transversely in the switch member. The slot is located corresponding to the recess. The switch member receives one end of a spring which biases a tubular member contact the pawl. The pawl has a flange which is located in the slot such that the switch member does not drop from the circular hole.
Engagement structure for tool
An engagement structure for a tool contains: a drive member which includes an accommodation orifice, a hexagonal tooth portion, and six planes. A respective one of the six planes is arranged on a center of a respective one of six peripheral sides of the hexagonal tooth portion, and the two beveled rims extends from the two sides of the respective one plane and are connected with a first adjacent beveled rim of a first adjacent plane and a second adjacent beveled rim of a second adjacent plane. A ratio of lengths of the respective one plane, the first adjacent beveled rim and the second adjacent beveled rim is 2:1:2, and an angle between the respective one plane and each of the first adjacent beveled rims and the second adjacent beveled rim is 2 degrees.
