Torque sensor system
A rotating power tool is provided. The rotating power tool may include a bevel gear set having a bevel gear and a conductive spiral disposed on the bevel gear. The conductive spiral may be configured to, in response to the bevel gear deforming due to a torque being applied to the bevel gear, change a resistance of the conductive spiral. The rotating power tool may further include an antenna electrically connected to the conductive spiral. The antenna may be configured to emit an output signal at a frequency that is based on the resistance value of the conductive spiral. The frequency of the output signal may be indicative of an amount of torque being applied to the bevel gear.
WRENCH
A wrench includes a ratchet unit located in the head and includes a mount hole. A collar is connected to the head and includes a slot and an aperture. A C-shaped engaging member includes a first end thereof inserted into the aperture. A second end of the engaging member protrudes beyond the collar. The engaging member includes a second section which is a curved section and resiliently protruded into the slot. A rotary member is mounted to outer periphery of the collar and includes a notch defined in the underside thereof. The second end of the engaging member is located in the notch and covered by the rotary member. When the rotary member is rotated, the engaging member is deformed to insert or remove the second section relative to the mount hole via the slot to position a socket in the head of the wrench.
RATCHET EXTENDER
A ratchet extender includes a first head having at least one ratchet drive square receiver and a first drive gear, a second head having at least one ratchet drive square and a second drive gear, and a drive shaft coupling the first drive gear to the second drive gear. As a user rotates the first drive gear using a ratchet coupled to the ratchet drive square receiver, the drive shaft rotates, thereby rotating the second drive gear and the ratchet drive square coupled thereto. As a result, a user is able to use ratchets in locations previously unreachable by such tools.
Dustproof structure of hand tool
A dustproof structure of a hand tool includes a tool body and a dustproof element. The tool body has a shank. A predetermined portion of the shank is concavely provided with a through hole. The dustproof element is flexible, is provided at the through hole of the shank, and can be opened and closed. The dustproof element closes the through hole when not subjected to an applied force and is elastically deformed to render the through hole into an open state when subjected to the applied force. In normal conditions, therefore, the dustproof element can block foreign matter from entering the through hole. When it is desired to perform a lubricating or adjusting operation on a component in the through hole of the hand tool, the operation can be carried out after directly applying a force to, and thus deforming, the dustproof portion, without having the dustproof element removed.
High-torque ratchet wrench
A high-torque ratchet wrench including a wrench body having a driving aperture and a handle, and a drive member is disposed in the driving aperture and an axial position-limiting mechanism is disposed between the driving aperture and the drive member to limit the relative axial displacement. The external side wall of the drive member and the internal aperture side of the driving aperture form two cylindrical drive faces nested, wherein a first cylindrical drive face is provided with a pin recess, a pin is rotatably mounted in the pin recess, a relief is disposed on the side face of pin, the pin is connected with a resilient reset member, the pin is rotated with the resilience of a resilient reset member, and a relief is driven to stand out of the pin recess and contacts a second drive face.
RATCHETING WRENCH APPARATUS, SYSTEM AND METHOD OF USE THEREOF
The present invention surrounds to a ratchet apparatus, system and use thereof. The invention is presented to provide additional mechanical advantage and added angular engagement of a ratcheting wrench. In particular the present invention provides increased torque and angular engagement within a compact space without requiring an extended handle, wherein an extended handle reduces portability and further restricts access and movement within confined spaces.
Ratchet wrench allowing easy change of rotation direction
A ratchet wrench allowing easy change of rotation direction includes a main body, a ratchet gear, a pawl, a sideways pushing member, and a direction changing device. The main body has a shaft connected with a head portion. The head portion has a receiving chamber housing the ratchet gear, the pawl, and the sideways pushing member and connected to a channel in the shaft. The direction changing device has a rotating rod in the channel, a sideways pushing button for rotating the rotating rod, an engaging member at the rear end of the sideways pushing member, and an engaging groove at the front end of the rotating rod and engaged with the engaging member, which is axially offset from the rotating rod. The rotating rod can rotate the sideways pushing member and thereby displace the pawl so that a different portion of the pawl meshes with the ratchet gear.
GEARING AND CRANKSHAFT ASSEMBLY FOR POWER TOOLS
A gearing and crankshaft assembly for a powered hand tool including an integrated gear carrier and crankshaft including first and second opposing ends, where the first end includes an offset pin, gears rotatably coupled to the integrated gear carrier and crankshaft by gear pins, bearings adapted to receive the integrated gear carrier and crank shaft to allow the integrated gear carrier and crank shaft to rotate relative to the driver portion, and a gear cover coupled to the driver portion and adapted to restrict axial movement of the gears.
ENCAPSULATED RATCHET AND METHOD OF MAKING THE SAME
A hand tool includes an elongate, plate shaped steel core having a top face and a bottom face in parallel planes, a drive head portion formed at one end of the steel core and having a drive head cavity formed therein, a tang portion extending from the drive head portion to the other end of the steel core, a ratchet assembly disposed in the drive head cavity, and a first encapsulation layer covering the tang portion and the drive head portion, but not covering at least a portion of the ratchet assembly. The first encapsulation layer may include a fiber reinforced plastic composite material.
RATCHET WRENCH INCLUDING A BICYCLE TOOLSET COMBINED THEREWITH
A ratchet wrench including a bicycle toolset combined therewith includes a main body having a first end including a ratchet drive head and a second end including an accommodating cavity. A toolset in a combination configuration is detachably connected to the main body and includes a length disposed in the accommodating cavity. The toolset comprises at least one bicycle tool.
