Ratcheting driver
A ratcheting driver comprises a driving mechanism combined between a handle and a working end for translating rotary motion from the handle to the working end. A switch engages the driving mechanism to switch the rotational direction of the working end between clockwise rotation and counter-clockwise rotation with an optional locked position that locks the working end. Two pairs of cooperating pawls are provided that are selectively engaged by the switch with one pawl in each of the two pairs of cooperating pawls selectively engaging one of a first ratchet gear and a second ratchet gear. Each pawl in the pair of cooperating pawls are positioned axially apart from each other in alignment with one of the first ratchet gear and the second ratchet gear.
Brake caliper tool
A tool for retracting pistons into cylinder bores is disclosed. Plates of the present invention are locked by a key to prevent the plates from spinning independently. Additionally, the key acts as an internal stop, providing a point beyond which the plates cannot be further spread or separated from one another. Additionally, a spring is provided to prevent the thread from turning independently from the plates.
BRAKE CALIPER TOOL
A tool for retracting pistons into cylinder bores is disclosed, with a narrow gap between facing pressure plates allowing use of the tool in tight places, and ratcheting spreading of the facing pressure plates causing outward moving of the pistons, enabling work to be performed, wherein movement of a threaded stud through a coupler moves a first pressure plate.
Multiuse Glove with Impact Protection and Ratchet
A surface covering the palm, backside, index and other fingers of the hand including a wrist shroud; a repositionable flap attached transversely between the wrist and palm portions of the glove, said flap having a pocket, said pocket holding a plate made of a suitably hard material; a flap securing means allowing the flap to be secured against the wrist when not in use or against the palm of the hand for striking objects; a detachable, reversible ratchet driver disposed along the backside of the index finger in alignment with the long axis of the hand, said ratchet including a cylindrical body, a toggle button forward and reverse mechanism as used in ink pens, ratchet means and a coupler for receiving common tool bits for Philips, flat head, hex, star, Allen, socket and other fasteners of the like.
RATCHET HANDLE
A ratchet handle has a wrench body, a ratchet block, an elastic sheet and a ratchet. The ratchet block, the elastic sheet and the ratchet are received inside the wrench body. The ratchet block has a first end, a second end opposite the first end of the ratchet block, a first side, a second side opposite the first side of the ratchet block, and a sliding face. The sliding face is arranged on the second side of the ratchet block and is formed at the first end of the ratchet block. The elastic sheet has an assembling section assembled on the second side of the ratchet block. The assembling section extends toward the first end of the ratchet block and extends to a position on the sliding face, thereby pushing the ratchet block sufficiently to make the ratchet block and the ratchet free from slippage.
TORQUE-LIMITING AND RATCHETTING MECHANISM
Provided is an apparatus for applying a specific amount of torque, comprising a body, a torque wheel, rotationally affixed to the body, comprising a plurality of teeth around an outer edge and a central spring mechanism affixed to and enclosed within the body, the central spring mechanism, comprising a spring stop and a torque spring, the torque spring comprising a torque spring end wherein the torque spring end engages the plurality of teeth and wherein, in a first rotational direction, the engagement of the torque spring end in the plurality of teeth prevents the torque wheel from rotating with respect to the body below a specified amount of torque and wherein, above the specified amount of torque in a second rotational direction, the torque spring flexes enabling the torque spring end to disengage from the plurality of teeth and enabling the torque wheel to rotate with respect to the body.
Ratchet wrench
A ratchet wrench is provided, including a main body, a driving member, a restricting member, a switching member and an elastic abutting assembly. The main body has a first receiving, chamber, a second receiving chamber and a third receiving chamber which is communicated with the first receiving chamber and the second receiving chamber. One end of the second receiving chamber is formed with a larger diameter section, and the other end of the second receiving chamber is formed with a small diameter section. The driving member is rotatably assembled within the receiving chamber. The restricting member is disposed in the third receiving chamber and limitable to a rotational direction of the driving member. The switching member is rotatably disposed within the second receiving chamber and includes a rotatable member and a projection which extends from the rotatable member. The rotatable member is received in the larger diameter section and the projection is received in the small diameter section. A bottom of the ratchet wrench of this invention is smoothly rotatable and the ratchet wrench effectively prevents the bottom from departing from the main body, which increase durability and efficiency.
QUICK RELEASE STRUCTURE OF T-SHAPED RATCHET WRENCH
A quick release structure of a T-shaped ratchet wrench, and the ratchet wrench being comprised of a transverse force applying handle and a longitudinal acting handle, and a ratchet steering and a driving mechanism being installed at a junction of the two handles and provided for controlling a force applying direction, wherein a substantially polygonal plug end of the acting handle has a quick release structure comprising a sliding sleeve, an elastic member, a buckle, a top shaft and a latching bead, so that the sliding sleeve may be displaced to prop out the latching bead or sink the latching bead to achieve the effect of plugging an external connected assembling member securely or releasing the external connected assembling member quickly.
Socket ratchet wrench
A socket ratchet wrench includes a main body, a ratchet ring, a direction switching device, an upper cover, and a clamp member. Therein, the main body has a handle and a head, and the head has a first lateral side and an opposite second lateral side, with a first containing groove passing through therebetween and connected with a second containing groove. The ratchet ring is rotatably disposed in the first containing groove and has a polygonal inner bore for receiving a socket. The direction switching device is movably disposed in the second containing groove for unidirectionally driving the ratchet ring. The upper cover is fixed on the first lateral side. The clamp member is pivotally disposed on the upper cover, capable of pivotally swinging between a clamping position and a releasing position against the upper cover to optionally clamp or release the socket.
Ratchet Wrench
A wrench including a ratchet and first and second pawls in an end of the wrench. The ratchet having a first array of gripping members, the first pawl having a second array of gripping members, and the second pawl having a third array of gripping members. The second array of gripping members of the first pawl offset relative to the third array of gripping members of the second pawl, and the offset about doubling a pitch of the first array of gripping members of the ratchet to decrease a rotation of the wrench by about half. Each array of the first, second and third arrays of the gripping members having a first curvilinear surface in a first direction and a second curvilinear surface in a second direction different than the first direction to maximize a gripping surface area and increase an amount of torque the wrench may apply.
