Provided are a quick disconnect tool and a male connector configured for removably mounting a device on a surface. The tool includes a socket, detents in the socket and a collar to open and close the detents. The male connector fits within the socket and cannot rotate within the socket. The male connector has at a first end a recess into which the detents can lock the male connector inside the socket and threads at a second end opposite the first end. Also provided is a method removably mounting a device to a surface using the quick disconnect too and the male connector.
Low-profile fastener retaining device with single-sided retention and release
A single-sided fastener retaining device provides for low-profile, strong fastener retention, low FOD risk, compatibility with a wide range of driving tool and fastener types and sizes that is inexpensive to manufacture and capable of driving the fastener at an angle. A release mechanism includes a resilient arm and a lever arm joined by a fulcrum that contacts the shaft of a driving tool. A fork at the end of the lever arm includes first and second arms that extend to either side of and at least to the level of the axis of the driving tool to define an opening facing the axis to receive the shaft of a fastener of various sizes and hold the head of the fastener to the working end of the driving tool in a retained position. The release mechanism is responsive to the application of a force to elastically deform the resilient arm causing the lever arm to pivot on the fulcrum moving the fork away from the axis to a release position to release the fastener. The release mechanism is responsive to the removal of the force to return the fork to the retained position.
Box wrench with positioning-retaining tab
The wrench with position-retaining tab comprises the box wrench and a position-retaining structure. The box wrench is a hand tool used for tightening and loosening a threaded connection formed by a bolt or bolt-like structure. The box wrench and the threaded connection are defined elsewhere in this disclosure. The position-retaining structure attaches to the box wrench. The position retaining structure is a spring-loaded structure that inhibits the box wrench from slipping off the bolt or bolt-like structure during the tightening and loosening of the threaded connection.
MODULAR RETAINING SCREWDRIVER
A modular system for treating a bone includes a main body including a channel extending therethrough. A distal end includes a driving feature sized and shaped to engage a corresponding driving structure of one of first and second bone screws. The system also includes an inner shaft sized and shaped to be inserted into the channel and including a distal end including a retaining feature for engaging a corresponding retaining structure extending within a recess at a proximal end of the first screw. Furthermore, the system includes an outer shaft extending longitudinally and including a channel extending therethrough. The channel of the outer shaft is sized and shaped to slidably receive the main body therein and including a retaining feature extending along a distal end thereof. The retaining feature of the outer shaft engages a retaining structure extending along an exterior surface of the second screw.

Wrench wth two clamping parts
A wrench includes a first part and a second part which is overlapped on the first part and is pivotable relative to the first part. The first part has a first clamping space and the second part has a second clamping space which is located corresponding to the first clamping space. The first clamping space is defined by two first jaws. The second clamping space is defined by two second jaws. When an object is clamped by the first and second parts, the second part is able to be pivoted an angle relative to the first part to allow the object to be firmly clamped by the first and second parts.
ROOF RACK INSTALLATION TOOL
An adapter assembly configured to install a roof rack accessory to a vehicle is provided. The roof rack accessory may include a vehicle attachment assembly having a fastener and a locking mechanism. In particular, the adapter assembly may comprise a wrench, an adapter, and a driving sleeve. The adapter engaging with the wrench includes an adapter body that includes first and second engagement portions and a driving post that engages the fastener of the vehicle attachment assembly. The driving sleeve may be engageable with the adapter, wherein the locking mechanism of the vehicle attachment assembly is engaged with the driving sleeve while the fastener of the vehicle attachment assembly is engaged with the adapter.

HEADLESS COMPRESSION SCREW DRIVER SYSTEM
A compression screw driver system including a drive member having a shaft extending from a proximal end to a distal end. A drive selection member is positioned about the shaft and is axially moveable along the shaft between an engagement position and a disengaged position. A distal portion of the drive selection member defines a first engagement structure. A compression sleeve is positioned over the distal end of the shaft. The proximal end of the compression sleeve defines a second engagement structure which complements the first engagement structure and the distal end of the compression sleeve defines a contact surface. In the engagement position the first and second engagement structures are engaged and the compression sleeve rotates with the drive member and in the disengaged position the first and second engagement structures are disengaged and the compression sleeve remains stationary while the drive member rotates.
DRIVER FOR A BONE SCREW
In accordance to one aspect of the present disclosure, a driver for a bone screw is provided that includes an inner shaft and a distal drive head of the inner shaft. The drive head is configured to fit in a drive recess of a bone screw to form a mating connection therewith. The driver further includes at least one outer, resilient locking member shiftable along the inner shaft from a proximal, unlocked position to a distal, locked position. The resilient locking member has a locking portion that contacts and is urged outwardly by a proximal ramp surface of the drive head as the locking member shifts distally from the unlocked position to the locked position to secure the bone screw onto the drive head.
