Screw clamping device

A screw clamping device includes a body, a pressing unit, a resilient unit, a clamping unit and a connecting unit. The body is a hollow-core cylinder, is subject to axial penetration of a screwdriver, and is movable axially in synchrony with rotation of the screwdriver. The pressing unit is disposed on the body and adapted to press against a surface of a working object. The resilient unit is disposed between the body and the pressing unit. The clamping unit is rotatably connected to the body. The connecting unit has one end connected to the pressing unit and the other end connected to the clamping unit. While the body is moving axially, the connecting unit drives the clamping unit to rotate and thereby clamp or loosen screws.

Screwdriver with force applying member

A device for driving a fastener has a shaft and a driving portion formed on an end of the shaft. The driving portion is provided with one of a slot and a channel for securely holding a force applying member formed from a resilient material. When a tip of the driving member is positioned within a tip receiving portion tip portion of the fastener, a surface of the force applying member which faces towards the head of the fastener will frictionally engage with the head portion of the fastener to prevent the driving portion from slipping from the fastener.

Headless compression screw driver system

A compression screw driver system including a drive member having a shaft extending from a proximal end to a distal end. A drive selection member is positioned about the shaft and is axially moveable along the shaft between an engagement position and a disengaged position. A distal portion of the drive selection member defines a first engagement structure. A compression sleeve is positioned over the distal end of the shaft. The proximal end of the compression sleeve defines a second engagement structure which complements the first engagement structure and the distal end of the compression sleeve defines a contact surface. In the engagement position the first and second engagement structures are engaged and the compression sleeve rotates with the drive member and in the disengaged position the first and second engagement structures are disengaged and the compression sleeve remains stationary while the drive member rotates.

A rotary tool accessory for installing a hood cushion in a vehicle component. The tool accessory includes a base portion structured to contact a hood cushion so as to enable rotation of the hood cushion by rotating the base portion. A hood cushion confinement portion is structured to enclose a portion of the hood cushion so as to limit or prevent radial expansion of the hood cushion during installation of the cushion into the vehicle component. The confinement portion is also structured and adjustably attachable to the base portion so as to control a movement of the base portion toward the surface of the component of the vehicle, such that a portion of the hood cushion extends past the surface of the vehicle component in a direction toward the base portion when the hood cushion has been completely installed in the vehicle component.

A method and device for inserting screws into a patient, such that when the device is removed the device does not stick to the screw. The device, being a push-off driver, may have a handle, an inner driver, and a threaded driver sleeve having a button mechanism and a plurality of spheres, and an inner sleeve. The method includes the steps of assembling a push-off driver attaching a bone screw to the push-off driver inserting the bone screw and detaching the bone screw from the driver by unthreading the threaded driver sleeve from the polyaxial screw which causes the spheres in the recess of the inner driver to back up against the start of the recess and causing the threaded driver sleeve to push-off the polyaxial screw from the inner driver.
