A release mechanism, which is arranged in the housing, releases the torque tool upon reaching a target torque.
Combination tool for tensioned fasteners
An apparatus for tensioning a fastener while measuring displacement of the fastener relative to a female threaded member may include a driver extension having an interior channel aligned along the extension's central cylindrical axis, open to a socket driver at an output end of the driver. The apparatus may further include a measurement probe in the interior channel, coupled to a measurement indicator on an exterior of the extension by a coupling that moves the measurement indicator in proportion to movement of the measurement probe and a measurement gauge coupled to an exterior of the driver extension that gauges displacement of the measurement indicator. A method for using the apparatus includes driving a female threaded member along a threaded rod by the driver extension while holding the measurement probe against an end of a bolt, screw, or other threaded fastener of which the threaded rod forms a part and while reading the measurement gauge.
CLAMPING TOOL WITH TIGHTENING TORQUE CONTROL
A clamping tool with tightening torque control includes a body containing control circuits and an electronic processing unit having at one end a handle for the grip of an operator who performs the tightening, and at the other end an arm. The arm at its free end includes a seat into which a plurality of inserts can alternatively be inserted, suitable for engaging the tool with a corresponding type and/or size of a mechanical member on which the tool is intended to act to perform a tightening operation. On the arm there is a sensor adapted to detect the tightening torque exerted on the mechanical member.

With the torque sensing unit installed on the extension arm, the electric torque wrench can be rotated manually with hand and is able to measure the torque value.
Manual tool, and bit and torque sensor used therefor
To provide a manual tool excellent in workability and operability and capable of precise tightening torque management, a manual tool includes a grip including a bit holding part that detachably holds a bit, and a torque sensor that is of a magnetostrictive type, and includes a detecting part that is penetrated by the bit held by the bit holding part and surrounds an outer periphery of the bit, the torque sensor is capable of contactlessly detecting a torque acting on the bit, and is detachably provided to the grip. The torque sensor can be configured to be formed so as to be mountable to the grip with the bit mounted to the bit holding part of the grip.
Electronic tool and method for copying a plurality of settings from a mechanical tool to another mechanical tool
An electronic tool for copying a plurality of settings from a first mechanical tool to a second mechanical tool comprises: a smart device having a processor, and having a non-transitory memory storing program instructions executable on the processor. The program instructions are configured, when executed on the processor, to: read the plurality of settings from the first mechanical tool; and write the plurality of settings to the second mechanical tool.
Release mechanism for a torque tool
A release mechanism for an electronically triggered torque tool to tighten a screw or a similar fastener triggers at a target torque. The release mechanism comprises a drive body and a main body, which rotate around a common axis to transfer a torque. A locking mechanism couples the drive body and the main body to transfer a torque. Measuring and evaluating means to measure and evaluate the torque transferred are provided, whereby a signaling device activates the locking mechanism to decouple the drive body from the main body upon reaching a target torque.
