Torque tool for identifying locking state of torque adjustment mechanism
A torque tool for identifying locking state of torque adjustment mechanism includes: a tubular body; a tool head having a stem body fitted in the tubular body, a torque adjustment mechanism being used to adjust the torque of the torque tool, a handle with at least one display window being fitted around the tubular body; a locking mechanism for selectively locking the torque adjustment mechanism; a push unit positioned behind the locking mechanism; and a first identification area and a second identification area respectively formed on the locking mechanism and the push unit. When the locking mechanism is not pushed by the push unit, the first identification area is displayed through the display window. When the push unit pushes the locking mechanism to lock the torque adjustment mechanism, it is impossible to adjust the torque of the torque tool and the second identification area is displayed through the display window.
TORQUE WRENCH EVALUATION SYSTEM AND METHOD
A method for evaluating a condition of a torque wrench includes connecting the torque wrench to an adapter, detecting a click point, where a click mechanism of the torque wrench is decoupled from a first position into a second position, and measuring a click torque value at the click point, detecting a peak point and measuring a peak torque value at the peak point, detecting a release point, where the click mechanism is moving back from the second position into the first position, and measuring a release torque value at the release point, determining that the evaluation was performed correctly if the click point, the peak point and the release point were detected.
Fastening aid, fastening system, connector and method for fastening a fastener
A fastening aid for screwing a fastener having a locknut by rotating the fastener around a rotation axis with a predetermined torque includes a sleeve element being attachable around the locknut along the rotation axis, an engaging structure provided at an inner surface of the sleeve and configured to engage with the locknut when the sleeve is attached around the locknut, a clasp element for reversibly closing the sleeve element to a closed state for attaching the sleeve around the locknut, and for reversibly opening the sleeve element to an opened state for detaching the sleeve from the locknut. The fastening aid is configured to allow screwing of the fastener around the rotation axis when exposed to a torque smaller than or equal to the predetermined torque and to prevent screwing the fastener around the rotation axis when the predetermined torque is exceeded.
Torque Indicator, Torque Limiter Utilizing Torsional Deflection And Methods Thereof
A torque limiter and/or torque indicator having a distal component, a handle and a torsion component therebetween. The torsion wire can be comprised of a super elastic material that provides a torque plateau preventing over-torquing of an item to be driven, e.g., a bone screw. The torsion component can be a torsion wire or can be a torsion spring. The torsion component can be a single wire or multiple wires. The torsion component can be offset from the axis of rotation of the device.
Hand tool with adjustable fastening head and variable output torque
A hand tool for fastening a fastener, such as a screw. The hand tool comprises a handle and a rotatable fastening head connected to a first end of the handle, and engaged with a manually driven actuator. The hand tool further comprises a fixed fastening head connected to a second end of the handle, which is configured to apply a configurable fastening torque to the fastener The fixed fastening head is selectively pivotable with respect to the handle about an axis parallel to the center axis of the fixed fastening head.
Torque Wrench
A torque wrench includes a main body, a holder, an adjusting member, and at least one first washer. The main body has a receiving recess. The holder has a first threaded portion. The adjusting member is provided with a second threaded portion, a head portion, a first abutting face, a second abutting face, and an annular groove. The at least one first washer is mounted in the annular groove of the adjusting member. Thus, when the head portion is moved toward the holder by rotation of the second threaded portion relative to the first threaded portion, the at least one first washer is moved to abut the holder, thereby providing a buffering effect between the head portion and the holder, and thereby preventing the head portion from directly hitting the holder.
Lockable torque wrench with adjustment indication
A lockable torque wrench with adjustment indication includes a rod body, a handle, a plurality of rollers having a rolling pillar, a rotation ring, and a pressing member. The rod body is combined into the handle and rotatable to protrude or retract against the handle for adjusting the torque. The rotation ring is disposed on an extension tube of the handle and mounted around the rollers. The rotation ring is switched between a locked and a relax positions. The pressing member has combination portions at two sides of the extension tube, and permanently engages the rolling pillar. In an ascend position, the rolling pillar is pressed toward the rod body by the prestress force supporting the pressing member. When meeting a position limiting groove, the rolling pillar is pressed to lower in the position limiting groove, providing a switch sensation formed for the user.
SHAFT RATCHET RELEASE AND SEALING MECHANISM
A torque wrench having a handle and an output shaft is disclosed. The output shaft may be constrained to turn only unidirectionally due to a ratchet. Rotation of the output shaft may be permanently disabled by an internal mechanism. Torque imposed on the output shaft may be limited by a torque responsive cam clutch. The handle forms or is part of an enclosure enclosing internal components such as the ratchet, the internal disablement mechanism, and the torque responsive cam clutch. A seal between the body and the output shaft prevents ingress and egress of lubricants and contamination between the inside of the body and the output shaft.
RELEASE MECHANISM FOR A TORQUE TOOL
A release mechanism for an electronically triggered torque tool to tighten a screw or a similar fastener triggers at a target torque. The release mechanism comprises a drive body and a main body, which rotate around a common axis to transfer a torque. A locking mechanism couples the drive body and the main body to transfer a torque. Measuring and evaluating means to measure and evaluate the torque transferred are provided, whereby a signaling device activates the locking mechanism to decouple the drive body from the main body upon reaching a target torque.
TORQUE WRENCH
A torque wrench includes a main body, a driving portion, a torque-disengageable mechanism, a torque assembly and an adjusting assembly. The main body defines an axial direction and includes a handle and a tubular member which are assembled with each other. The handle has an opening which is open radially. The torque-disengageable mechanism is swingably disposed within the tubular member. The torque assembly is disposed in the main body. The adjusting assembly includes a position-limiting member, a slidable assembly and an adjusting member. The adjusting member is rotatably connected to the handle and corresponding to the opening. The adjusting member has a first threaded portion. The slidable assembly has a second threaded portion screwed with the first threaded portion.
