A Disposable Instrument for Torque Control Tightening a Threaded Implant Device
An instrument for torque controlled tightening of a threaded device, including a handle, an articulable head that is articulably connected to the handle, the articulable head including a drive ratchet configured to rotate relative to the articulable head and to engage with the threaded device or a tool for engaging with the threaded device, an elastic device arranged at the handle, and a pulling mechanism operatively connecting the articulable head with the handle, the pulling mechanism having a ratchet head mechanism to engage with the drive ratchet of the articulable head, and configured to engage with the elastic device at the handle such that the elastic device is compressed or expanded upon an application of a torque to the drive ratchet and simultaneously the ratchet head mechanism blocks the rotation of the drive ratchet.
GROOVED DRIVE FOR RATCHET TOOLS
A tool with a drive lug having groove formed on the drive lug to promote failure of the drive lug before internal component failure. The groove has a predetermined diameter and is formed on the drive lug or ratchet square to cause failure of the drive lug, due to a torsional ductile fracture, before any internal component failure of the tool, such as, for example, gear and/or pawl failure in a ratchet wrench.
TORQUE LIMITING CLAMP ACTUATOR
A clamp includes a jaw assembly, and an actuator device for moving the jaw assembly between clamped and unclamped positions. The actuator device includes a handle, and a keyed shaft coupled to the handle via a spring biased releasable torque transfer mechanism.
Torque Wrench for Implant Procedure
A torque wrench for an implant procedure is provided, wherein only a single torque wrench according to the present invention is necessary to first tighten a screw and finally firmly fasten the screw with a desired force or to first loosen the screw and finally completely remove the screw, even without the use of a separate hand driver. A torque wrench for an implant procedure includes: a first body part having a predetermined length, and including a head portion having an end to which a torque wrench driver bit is coupled; at least one second body part having a predetermined length, provided at one side of the first body part, and including a coupling portion formed in a longitudinal direction thereof; and a second shaft rotatably coupled to the coupling portion of the second body part, including a second gear provided at one end thereof and a knob provided at the other end thereof, and configured such that, in response to rotation of the knob, the second shaft transmits torque to the torque wrench driver bit through the first gear engaged with the second gear.
Torque Wrench
A torque wrench including a head, a handle, a primary beam, a secondary beam, and a torque adjustment mechanism. The primary beam couples the head and the handle for co-rotation about the rotational axis and the primary beam includes a first end adjacent the head and a second end adjacent the handle. The secondary beam is coupled to the head for rotation with the head about the rotational axis and the secondary beam is movable relative to the primary beam and the handle. The torque adjustment mechanism adjusts a torque setting of the primary beam relative to the secondary beam. The torque adjustment mechanism includes a thumb adjustment wheel that a user rotates about a first axis to adjust the torque setting by moving the second end of the primary beam relative to the handle along a second axis offset from the first axis.
TORQUE SOCKET TOOL
A torque socket tool includes a main body, a driving portion, an abutting member, an axle, and a sleeve member. The main body defines an axial direction. The abutting member is non-rotatably and slidably arranged in the main body. The sleeve member is rotatably sleeved onto the main body. A threaded section drives the abutting member to slide along the axial direction for adjusting the predetermined torque when the axle is rotated by rotating the sleeve member.
TORQUE WRENCH
A torque wrench includes a body, a driving member rotatably mounted in the body, and a torsion control unit. The torsion control unit includes a stopper, a resilient element, and a push rod. The stopper and the resilient element are received in the body. The stopper includes a first end abutting against the driving member. The resilient element includes a first U-shaped plate having a first end, a second end, and an intermediate portion between the first and second ends. The intermediate portion is arcuate and is connected to a second end of the stopper. An opening is defined between the first and second ends of the first U-shaped plate of the resilient element and faces away from the stopper. The push rod is connected to the body and has an end simultaneously abutting against the first and second ends of the first U-shaped plate of the resilient element.
REGULATING DEVICE FOR TORQUE LIMITER
An apparatus for regulating a torque limiter includes a resilient member configured to exert a force on one or more components of the torque limiter that adjusts a torque limit of the torque limiter in use, a movable abutment configured to contact the resilient member, a nut rotatable about the axis and configured to contact the movable abutment such that a given rotational position of the nut corresponds to a given axial position of the movable abutment, and an anti-rotation member configured to move between first and second positions. In the first position the anti-rotation member prevents rotational movement of the nut and in the second position the anti-rotation member does not prevent rotational movement of the nut and permits rotation of the nut and, in turn, axial movement of the movable abutment to vary the force exerted by the resilient member.
SOUND BASE OF TORQUE WRENCH
The present invention provides a sound base of torque wrench comprising a base and an outer sleeve, a hardness of the outer sleeve is lower than a hardness of the base, the outer sleeve is hollow with a peripheral wall, and the peripheral wall is sleeved around the base; and at least one oil accommodating groove disposed on an outer peripheral surface of the peripheral wall. Thereby, the sound base uses the oil accommodating groove to accommodate lubricating oil, so that the sound base has a long-term lubricating effect, and long-term lubrication can be achieved when the sound base is operated in a wrench in order to have low frictional resistance, and thus the wrench can maintain a certain precision on a long-term basis.
TORQUE DRIVER INTEGRATED WITH A VALVE CORE REMOVAL TOOL
An apparatus includes a tool holder, a knob, and a clutch coupling the tool holder to the knob and including a biasing element disposed between a first detent button and a second detent button. The knob defines an internal surface with an engaging surface disposed facing the tool holder and defining a first wedge-shaped protuberance that includes a first stop surface and a first ramp surface. The distal ramp surface is disposed contacting one of the first detent button and the second detent button when the knob rotates in the first rotational direction about the central longitudinal axis. The distal stop surface is disposed to contact one of the first detent button and the second detent button when the knob plate rotates in the second rotational direction about the central longitudinal axis.
