Nail gun and a driving device thereof

A nail gun includes a muzzle device, a cartridge device and a driving device. The muzzle device includes a safety member having an abutment end retractable when pushed. The cartridge device includes a stop member for blocking the drive stroke when a number of the nails is less than a predetermined number. The driving device includes a linking member co-movable with the safety member, and a trigger unit including a pivotable trigger, an inner arm co-movable with the trigger, and a switch member. When the switch member is at a sequential striking position and when the trigger is pivoted before a rearward movement of the linking member, the inner arm is withdrawn from a route of the rearward movement to avoid actuation of the drive stroke.

Handheld fastener installation guide

A handheld guide for advancing and installing a decking fastener with an elongate track with a rail and an advancement member. The advancement member carries a pivoting pawl with an engagement surface for advancing fasteners forward through the track to an installation position with a frontmost fastener aligned with a screw guide for driving a screw through the frontmost fastener. The rail has a ramp transitioning to a cliff and a lower ledge such that the frontmost fastener is maintained forward of the cliff above the ledge in the installation position. The pawl pivots to disengage from the fasteners when the advancement member moves rearwardly along the track.

STAPLE GUN WITH AUTOMATIC DEPTH ADJUSTMENT

A staple gun and a method of using the same. A stapling mechanism in the housing is activated to deliver a staple through an aperture in a housing wall and drive the staple into a surface around a stack of one or more electric cables. The gun includes a reciprocating cable guide for centering the gun on the stack of cables and closing a safety switch to permit the gun's trigger to be activated. A spacer extending outwardly from the housing wall rests on the upper surface of the cable stack. The spacer and a bumper that engages a hammer of the stapling mechanism provide for automatic depth adjustment when driving the staple into the surface. A reciprocating cable guard extending outwardly from the housing wall is positioned between the stack of cables and the staple to aid in preventing the staple from piercing the cable.

A bracket for attachment to an overhead substrate to carry a suspending wire or rod is formed from metal plate or strap stock having a bend connecting a first generally rectangular section of the stock with a second generally rectangular section of the stock. The first generally rectangular section of stock has a dimple formed on one side of the stock with a corresponding bulge protruding from the other side. The bulge protrudes alongside the second generally rectangular section of stock. The bulge has a base and an apex, a generally conical outside surface adjacent to the first u) generally rectangular section of stock and a through aperture at the apex. The bracket is applied with a tool that can be provided with a washer system to accommodate different fastener lengths and a safety to deactivate the triggering mechanism.

Powered fastener driver

A fastener driver includes a housing defining a head portion and a handle portion, a drive mechanism positioned within the housing, and a firing mechanism. The firing mechanism includes a primary guide member supported within the head portion of the housing, a secondary guide member spaced from the primary guide member and supported within the head portion of the housing, a piston slidable along the primary guide member and the secondary guide member, a driver blade attached to the piston and configured to be movable along a drive axis, and a biasing member configured to move the piston and the driver blade from a top dead center (TDC) position toward a bottom dead center (BDC) position. A lifter assembly is operated by the drive mechanism to return the piston and the driver blade towards the TDC position, against the bias of the biasing member.

QUICK RELEASE DEVICE FOR A PANEL OF NAIL GUNS

A quick release device for a panel of nail guns has a quick release mount, a pulling base, and an elastic element. The quick release mount is disposed on a body of a nail gun adjacent to a rear end of an ejecting track, and has two connecting boards and a pivotal rod connected to the two connecting boards. The pulling base is pressably connected to the quick release mount, selectively engages with a panel of the nail gun, and has an engaging hook, a pivot hole, and a pulling arm. The engaging hook is formed on the pulling base, and selectively engages with a limiting claw of the panel to limit a position of the panel relative to the ejecting track. The elastic element is mounted between the quick release mount and the pulling base to provide a returning force to the pulling base.

Drive blade lubrication assembly and powered fastener driver containing the same

A drive blade lubrication assembly for use in a powered fastener driver (10). The powered fastener driver (10) contains a drive blade (42) which snap-fits with a reciprocating piston (58) by a blade seal (103) assembly. The drive blade lubrication assembly contains a lubricant applying member adapted to apply lubricant to a portion of the drive blade (42); and a lubricant storing device which is in fluid communication with the lubricant applying member. The lubricating storing device is adapted to replenish the lubricant in the lubricant applying member. A powered fastener driver (10) containing a drive blade lubrication assembly is also described. The use of the lubricant storing device in the present invention ensures that lubricant is continuously supplied to the drive blade (42) after long time usage of the powered fastener driver (10), so that friction between the drive blade and the blade seal assembly is minimized.
