STAPLER WITH MOVEABLE STRIKE PLATE AND INTEGRATED ACCESSIBILITY FEATURES
A stapler including a moveable strike plate and accessibility features is described. A slidable strike plate is moveable from a first staple forming position to a second staple forming position to form different staple shapes. The slidable strike plate is moved relative to the anvil of the stapler with a single hand to change positions. A rotatable strike plate is turned with a single hand to move between staple forming positions by rotating an outer dial of the rotatable strike plate relative to the anvil of the stapler. The stapler includes an indicator window that shows if the stapler is empty or running low on staples and a quick release staple loading magazine that is operable using a single hand.
HAMMER TACKER
A hammer tacker is provided, including a grip portion and a body portion; a magazine, including a rail, at least partially received in the housing, being movable relative to the hosing between a stapling position and a staple-installing position, including an outlet disposed at a front end of the body portion; a biasing mechanism, including a push member movably mounted to the rail and a constant force spring which is rollable, the constant force spring being positionally attached to the rail through a connection portion and located at a front end of the magazine, and the constant force spring being attached to an inner face of the push member, the push member being movable to be correspondingly above or beyond the connection portion; a striking mechanism, mounted to the main body and configured to strike at least one staple installed in the magazine.
Power Tool Having Latched Pusher Assembly
A magazine for use with a fastening tool. The magazine can have a pusher assembly that can be retracted into a recess in the magazine to facilitate loading and reloading of fasteners. The pusher assembly can have a pusher assembly knob which can be reversibly latched to a detent to maintain the pusher assembly in a retracted state. The fastening tool can use a magazine which can be reloaded by a method which has a step of reversibly retracting the pusher assembly into the retracted state to allow for feeding one or more fasteners to the magazine.
SPARE MAGAZINE AND STAPLER HAVING THE SAME
A spare magazine is adapted to be installed in a stapler, and includes a casing unit, a pivot member and a sliding carrier. The pivot member is pivotally disposed in the casing unit, and has a positioning pin. The sliding carrier has a carrier body slidably received in the casing unit, and a main track portion protruding from the carrier body, and having an island block and a surrounding wall that cooperatively define a main track. The sliding carrier is slidable relative to the casing unit between a closed position and a first open position. The positioning pin of the pivot member is inserted into the main track and is slidable in the main track along a heart-shaped route during the sliding movement of the sliding carrier.
RELOAD ASSEMBLY FOR CIRCULAR STAPLING DEVICES
A reload assembly includes a shell housing, a knife carrier, a lockout component, and a hook component. The lockout component is supported on an inner wall of the knife carrier and has a body formed of a resilient material that defines a window. The hook component is supported on the inner housing portion of the shell housing and includes a body having a hook that is received within the window of the lockout component when the knife carrier is in its retracted position after the reload assembly has been fired to obstruct readvancement of the knife carrier.
Staple insertion device
A staple insertion device includes a staple drive chamber, staple reservoir, staple feed mechanism, and staple drive member. The staple drive chamber is formed between a backing plate and a jam plate removably attached to the backing plate. The staple reservoir is configured to receive and hold a plurality of staples and extends from the backing plate to a staple reservoir terminal plate. The staple feed mechanism is operatively connected to the staple reservoir and is configured to feed the plurality of staples from the staple reservoir into the staple drive chamber through the backing plate. The staple drive member is configured to advance downwardly through the staple drive chamber so as to drive a staple out of the staple drive chamber.
STAPLE GUN
A staple gun is provided, including: a main body, including a bottom side, and a staple outlet and a notch disposed on the bottom side; a staple magazine, being withdrawably received within the main body, including a track portion and an abutting portion out of the track portion; a lock mechanism, being located at the bottom side, including a pressed member disposed on the main body and located within the notch, the pressed member having a blocking portion movable between a blocking position and a releasing position; wherein when the blocking portion is in the blocking position, the blocking portion is blockably connected with the abutting portion and the staple magazine is non-withdrawable from the main body; when the blocking portion is in the releasing position, the blocking portion is unlocked by the abutting portion and the staple magazine is withdrawable from the main body.
STAPLE GUN
A staple gun is provided, including: a main body, including a bottom side, and an abutting portion, a staple outlet and a notch which are disposed on the bottom side; a staple magazine, being withdrawably received within the main body; a lock mechanism, including a pressed member disposed on the staple magazine and having a restricting portion movable between a restricting position and a releasing position; wherein when the restricting portion is in the restricting position, the pressed member is located within the notch, the restricting portion is blocked with the abutting portion and the staple magazine is non-withdrawable from the main body; when the pressed member is pressed and moved toward an interior of the main body and the restricting portion is in the releasing position, the restricting portion is unlocked from the abutting portion and the staple magazine is withdrawable from the main body.
Magazine with lockback pusher for use with stapling device
A fastener magazine of a fastening device may include a track defining an elongated channel with a dispensing end at which fasteners are dispensed from the magazine. A runner positioned in the track may include a release member that projects outward from an outer surface of the runner. A pusher may be positioned in the track and coupled to the runner such that the pusher exerts a force in a direction toward the dispensing end of the track on the fasteners when the runner is in a closed position. A retention member that is attached to a side wall of the track can engage the pusher through an aperture in the track to prevent the pusher from contacting the fasteners until the runner has reached a desired position in the track. The release member can contact the retention member to disengage the retention member from the pusher.
