The selvedge is then cut longitudinally together with the underlying band. A strip is separated from the first reel. A pair of coupling members is rested and sealed by ultrasound on the portion of ribbon made of non-woven fabric sealed onto the strip. A method for making the vertical strips is implementable by the apparatus.
