FABRICATION OF AN ORTHODONTIC ALIGNER FROM A NEGATIVE MOLD DESIGNED BY A COMPUTATIONAL DEVICE

Provided is a method in which a computational device generates a design of a negative mold of teeth. The negative mold of the teeth is fabricated from the design of the negative mold. An aligner is formed using the fabricated negative mold. Provided also is a negative mold of teeth for fabricating a positive model of the teeth for an aligner. The negative mold comprises a tooth surface, and an identity tracking entity coupled to the tooth surface to provide identification.

Penis casting method and kit

A method of casting a penis using a kit is provided. The present invention includes a cylinder with a first end cap and a second end cap. An opening may be cut through the sidewall of the cylinder. An opening may also be cut through the first end cap. The user may insert their penis through the opening of the first end cap. A liquid molding material may be poured into the opening through the sidewall so that a substantial portion of the cylinder is filled. The liquid molding material hardens over a first period of time forming a solid mold. The penis may be removed from the solid mold. A liquid casting material is poured into the solid mold and hardens over a second period of time forming a casted penis.

Methods for fabricating immobilization apparatus

Devices and methods are provided for fabricating a custom splint for use in an immobilization system. In one aspect, a method for fabricating a splint is provided. The method comprises identifying a region of interest of a limb around which a splint is to be positioned, placing markers about the region of interest on the limb, and scanning the region of interest having the markers to generate data for the splint to be produced.

An impression device and related methods are disclosed. The device has a base having a recess and a conduit for fluidly coupling the recess to a vacuum source, and a first plurality of particles positioned in the recess. The first plurality of particles sealed from an external environment. The first plurality of particles has a first coefficient of friction between each other, the first coefficient of friction selected to allow the particles to move relative to each other in the absence of a vacuum and to prevent the particles from moving relative to each other in the presence of a vacuum.

UPPER EXPANSION ORTHDONTIC RETAINER

An orthodontic retainer includes a first material forming a contact surface for the buccal, occlusal, labial, and lingual surfaces of the maxillary teeth. The first material has a number of holes formed bi-laterally in the lingual surface. The orthodontic retainer includes a second material forming a contact surface for the palatal portion of the upper arch dentition. The second material is formed with several bulges that mate with corresponding holes within the first material. A method of forming the orthodontic retainer includes casting an impression, vacuum forming a first material over the cast of the teeth, trimming the first material in proximity to the gingival contours, drilling a number of holes in a lingual surface of the first material, applying a second material to the palatal portion of the cast and the holes of the first material, and curing the second material to the first material.

CUSTOM-MADE ARTIFICIAL NIPPLE

An artificial nipple is formed of an elastomeric polymer by use of 3D printing after imaging of a mother's breast in an active state of lactation. The artificial nipple used as an attachment to a baby bottle or as the nipple component of a pacifier. Use of an artificial nipple formed in this manner mitigates a problem with nipple confusion, as may otherwise manifest in newborn offspring.

CUSTOM ELASTOMERIC EARMOLD WITH SECONDARY MATERIAL INFUSION
20170305039 · 2017-10-26 ·

A method of manufacturing a custom elastomeric earmold with a secondary material infusion and said custom elastomeric earmold is disclosed. The method can include establishing a representation of a shape of the ear concha, the outer canal and the inner ear canal cavity. The method may further include casting a custom shaped injection mold. The injection mold may be used to cast a custom shape of the inner and outer ear from an elastomeric material such as silicone or urethane. An additional injection step can be performed to infuse foam into the interior of the elastomeric material.
