JIG
A jig includes mold parts that have a contact surface of a cylindrical part of a material to be molded having a shape complying with the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical par and are arranged in a direction crossing one direction; a bladder having on a side opposite to the contact surfaces of plurality of mold parts relative to the mold parts, capable of accommodating a fluid therein, and expandable/retractable according to a pressure of the accommodated fluid; a joining part that joins the plurality of mold parts and the bladder; and a connection part that connects a one-side mold part and an another side mold part adjacent to the one-side mold part among a plurality of mold parts to each other and restricts an interval between the one-side mold part and the other-side mold part in a direction crossing the one direction with a prescribed range.
Injection Molding Method for Degradable Intravascular Stent with Flexible Mold Core Structure
Disclosed is an injection molding method for a degradable intravascular stent with a flexible mold core structure. The injection molding method includes the following steps: Step 1, winding a metal rod with a flexible metal film, and applying an inward bending stress to the flexible metal film; Step 2, fixing the flexible metal film to the metal rod, and processing a complementary structure of the degradable intravascular stent on the surface of the flexible metal film; Step 3, performing injection molding processing: Step 4, ending the injection molding, removing the mating body of the flexible metal film and the metal rod and the degradable intravascular stent formed on the surface of the flexible metal film by injection molding, performing cooling, separating the metal rod from the flexible metal film, withdrawing the metal rod, and then removing the flexible metal film to obtain a formed degradable intravascular stent.
Supporting profiled element, method for producing a supporting profiled element, and use of said supporting profiled element in a method for producing a reinforced vehicle fuselage component
A supporting profiled element is configured to support a reinforcing profiled element that is formed from a fiber composite semi-finished product during a curing process of a method for producing a vehicle fuselage component, during which the reinforcing profiled element is bonded to a surface of a fuselage shell that is also formed from a fiber composite semi-finished product. The supporting profiled element includes an air-impermeable profiled hose having two ends and a first end piece that is detachably inserted at a first of the two ends of the profiled hose so as to form an insertion connection. The first end piece is sealed against the profiled hose by the insertion connection.
Methods of internally insulating a fluted core sandwich structure
A method of partially insulating an interior space of a pre-formed fluted core panel is disclosed herein. The fluted core panel includes a first facesheet, a second facesheet spaced apart from the first facesheet, and webs between the first facesheet and second facesheet. The interior space is defined between the first facesheet, the second facesheet, and adjacent webs. The method includes positioning a spacer in a first portion of the interior space, positioning a membrane between the spacer and a second portion of the interior space, and positioning insulation in the second portion of the interior space. Additionally, the method includes pressing the membrane against the spacer, curing the membrane, and removing the spacer from the first portion of the interior space.
Fixing device
A fixing device for fixating a segment of a wind turbine blade to a mold in which the blade segment is manufactured, wherein the blade segment has a fixating portion. The fixing device comprises: a first portion for removably fixating the blade segment at its fixating portion to the mold; and a second portion for fixating the fixing device to the mold.
BLADDER MANDREL PACKAGE
A bladder mandrel package, used to manufacture a composite structure, includes a mandrel and a wrap ply, surrounding the mandrel to form a wrapped mandrel. The bladder mandrel package also includes a first radius filler, coupled to the wrap ply at a first radius of the wrapped mandrel, and a second radius filler coupled to the wrap ply at a second radius of the wrapped mandrel. The mandrel, the wrap ply, the first radius filler, and the second radius filler are consolidated to from the bladder mandrel package.
BONDING TOOL FOR AIRCRAFT STRUCTURAL PARTS
A bonding tool is described that is used to secure sacrificial pads to bonding locations on a perimeter of a rib during a bonding process. In one embodiment, the bonding tool includes a base member having a rib receptacle dimensioned to receive a rib of a wing, a plurality of compression forms disposed around at least a portion of the rib receptacle and proximate to a perimeter of the rib, where the compression forms include a plurality of sacrificial pads that face towards bonding locations on the perimeter of the rib, and at least one bladder proximate to the compression forms that expands between a wall of the base member and the compression forms to press the sacrificial pads against the bonding locations while the sacrificial pads bond to the bonding locations.
Bladder system for curing composite parts
A structure comprising a plurality of walls defining a bladder cavity, the bladder cavity comprises an initial cross section size. A first plurality of wave features provided along at least one of the plurality of walls defining the bladder cavity. In one arrangement, the first plurality of wave features allow the structure to expand from the initial cross section size to a second cross section size after the structure becomes inflated during a composite charge cure, the second cross section size larger than the initial cross sectional size.
Bonding devices and bonding methods for irregular-shaped curved cover plates and flexible screens
A bonding device and a bonding method for an irregular-shaped curved cover plate and a flexible screen are disclosed. The bonding device includes: a support body supporting the flexible screen; and a bonding body supporting the flexible screen together with the support body and pressing the flexible screen. The bonding body has a cylindrical shape. A cross-sectional shape of the bonding body along an axial direction matches with a cross-sectional shape of the irregular-shaped curved cover plate. The support body is located at a radial end of the bonding body. The bonding body can be expanded along the axial direction, to have opposite sides thereof abutted against the arc hook areas.
MOLD CORE FOR PRODUCING A COMPONENT COMPOSED OF FIBER COMPOSITE MATERIAL
A mold core for producing a component of fiber composite material with a cavity. The mold core makes a particularly simple and efficient demolding process possible by a mold core extending along a longitudinal axis and which is in the form of a hybrid core and which includes, viewed in a cross section perpendicular to the longitudinal axis, a first core portion and a second core portion, wherein the first core portion is formed from a first material with high stiffness and low coefficient of thermal expansion, and wherein the second core portion is formed from a second material that differs from the first material, and is configured such that, under predetermined conditions, its form changes in a predetermined manner such that removal of the mold core from a cavity in the cured component is made easier.
