An imprint apparatus that forms a pattern on a substrate by using a mold, the apparatus comprises a supply unit configured to supply an imprint material to the substrate; a contact unit configured to contact the imprint material that has been supplied to the substrate with a mold; a substrate stage configured to move the substrate; a gas supply unit that is provided between the supply unit and the contact unit, and supply gas toward the substrate; and a flow volume adjustment unit configured to adjust a flow volume of the gas that is supplied from the gas supply unit, while the substrate stage moves the substrate from a supply position at which the imprint material is supplied by the supply unit to a contact position at which the imprint material is contacted with the mold by the contact unit.

A three-dimensional structured multi-level interlocking structure and a preparation method thereof, the multi-level interlocking structure comprises: a first interlocking structure comprising a first bonding component, first bonding troughs and first macrostmctures alternately positioned on the surface of the first bonding component, and a second interlocking structure comprising a second bonding component, second bonding troughs and second macrostmctures alternately positioned on the surface of the second bonding component, the first macrostructures are aligned with the second bonding trough, and the second macrostmctures are aligned with the first bonding trough; and the first macrostructure has a first end away from the first bonding component and the second macrostructure has a first end away from the second bonding component, the first ends of the first macrostructure and the second macrostructure comprise a top plane, the first end of the first macrostructure extends past the top plane of the second macrostructure, or the first end of the second macrostructure extends past the top plane of the first macrostructure. With the structure applied, the bonding effect is improved and the bonding strength is reinforced, so that the mechanical strength of interlock between the structures is reinforced.

A data generation method generates data for controlling an arrangement step in an imprint process that includes the arrangement step of arranging an imprint material on a substrate, a contact step of bringing the imprint material and a pattern portion of a mold into contact with each other, and a curing step of curing the imprint material. The method includes performing a first step of determining a plurality of first positions, based on information related to a boundary of the pattern portion in the substrate, as positions where the imprint material is to be arranged, and performing a second step of determining, after the first step, a plurality of second positions different from the plurality of first positions, as positions where the imprint material is to be further arranged.

An elastomeric article for sealing a container includes an elastomeric body having an external sidewall surface and an external crown surface and a first fluoropolymer film layer having an internal surface and an external surface. The internal surface of the first fluoropolymer film layer is laminated to an entirety of the external sidewall and crown surfaces of the elastomeric body. The external crown surface of the first fluoropolymer film layer includes a drug contact surface configured to contact a drug contained in the container and the external sidewall surface including a sealing surface for contacting an interior surface of the container. The external surface of the first fluoropolymer film layer is substantially free of striations.

In accordance with an implementation, a method includes applying a resin onto a substrate and positioning the substrate on over a chuck of a base of a fixture. Polymer surface with t-shaped microstructure and fabrication method therefor and applications thereof
The present invention discloses polymer surfaces with T-shaped microstructure and their fabrication method and applications. The polymer surfaces with the T-shaped microstructure are characterized in that T-shaped microposts arrange orderly on them, and nanobulges arrange orderly on the top surfaces of the micronails of the T-shaped microposts. A flexible insert is designed and manufactured according to the geometry of the T-shaped microposts, and nanogrooves are manufactured on the cavity surface of an injection mold according to the geometry of the nanobulges on the top surfaces of the micronails. The flexible insert is mounted on the injection mold cavity. An injection molding machine is used to inject the molten polymer into the injection mold cavity. Then the polymer surfaces with the T-shaped microposts, on the top surfaces of the micronails of which the nanobulges arrange orderly, are molded. The polymer surfaces with the T-shaped microstructure exhibit robust Cassie-Baxter state and moderate surface adhesion to water droplets, and can be used for quantitative collection, lossless transportation or micromixing of microdroplets.

SMOOTH FILM LAMINATED ELASTOMER ARTICLES
A method for manufacturing at least one elastomeric article is provided. The method includes placing into a mold an assembly of an uncured elastomeric sheet, a first film fully covering the elastomeric sheet and a second film covering the first film, such that the second film is in contact with and positioned between the first film and an interior surface of the mold. The method further includes curing the assembly in the mold, such that the first film is laminated onto the elastomeric sheet thereby forming the at least one elastomeric article.
Superstrate and methods of using the same
An apparatus may include a superstrate. The superstrate can include a body having a diameter. The body may fit within a projected square. The projected square may have a length equal to the diameter of the body. The body within the projected square may produce an open area between an exterior edge of the body and the projected square. The superstrate may further include a first projection extending from the exterior edge of the body within the open area.
