The disclosure provides various components for a fishing lure. These components include a Hard Bodied Ballast Oscillator (“HBBO”) which oscillates around various axes, an HBB with positive lift that rises during retrieval, and a hook for use in a rigid body which, while being fished, remains at least partially inside the body and reliably pointing upwards, and which, when the fish bites, is at least partially exposed. In some cases multiple components may be connected to each other via a stiff wire and designed to maintain, in the water, a particular orientation of the components relative to each other.

A device and method of use with a weighted portion with two or more barrel swivels affixed to the weighted portion for the purpose of fishing. A device to mitigate the twisting and/or damage to the fishing line. The Removable Fishing Lure Assembly is comprised of a weighted body section, a removable retaining device, and an optional accessory attachment ring wherein the user can insert and remove a removable insert in the weighted body section. The weighted body section forms an internal void space through which a removable insert, such as a fishhook, slides in and out of the weighted body section. The weighted body section forms a geometry such that a removable retaining device is used to keep the removable insert in place while fishing. Once the removable insert is fully assembled inside the weighted body section, the weighted body section is kept in place by the retaining device due to the forces acting on both the weighted body section and the removable insert.

An improved topwater fishing lure with a rotating spinner element is disclosed that includes stabilizing fins along a rear tail portion to help balance the lure and prevent roll over and minimize other undesirable dynamics.

A fishers lure that includes a lure body, a top blade attached to the lure body in a configuration whereby an oscillating motion is created as movement of the fishers lure through the water displaces the blade relative to the lure body. A connector for a flexible fishing lure with an interchangeable swimbait is an apparatus used as a fastener for a modular fishing lure. The apparatus includes a lure body, a lure tail, a male connector, and a female connector. The lure body and the lure tail mirror the body and the tail of a live bait. The lure tail is made of soft-plastic material. The lure body is removably connected with the lure body with the male connector and the female connector. The male connector is integrated with the lure tail and the female connector is integrated with the lure body. Moreover, the lure tail is molded around a stabilizing frame and at least one panel of the male connector. The male connector latches with the female connector and is easily separated so that the lure tail may be interchanged.

A lure includes a body, a weight, a guide member and an elastic member. The body is hollow and has a head in a front portion and a tail in a rear portion thereof. The weight is inside of the body so as to be movable in a front-rear direction. The guide member is in the body and configured to guide movement of the weight in the front-rear direction. The elastic member is in the body and is configured to generate an energizing force to move the weight in a forward direction. The weight is movable backward against the energizing force of the elastic member and one of the weight and the elastic member is inserted into an inside of the other.

A fishing lure comprises a body having a front end and a rear end. A cavity is positioned towards the front end of the body, and the cavity has a longitudinal direction. A connection member is located at least partially in the cavity and retained thereto by one or more retaining members. Each retaining member is able to extend into the cavity to retain the connection member in the cavity in use. The connection member is able to move, in use, in a direction transverse to the longitudinal direction.
