RESIN COMPOSITION, RESIN MOLDED BODY, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING POROUS RESIN MOLDED BODY
A resin composition contains cellulose acylate (A), a polyester resin (B), at least one compound (C) selected from the group consisting of cardanol compounds and ester compounds having a molecular weight of 250 or more and 2000 less, and a water-soluble compound (D).
WATER-ASSISTED INJECTION MOLDED CROSS-CAR BEAM
A method of forming a cross-car beam is provided. A composite is melted to form a viscous polymer. The polymer is injected into a mold. Pressurized fluid is injected into the mold to evacuate a portion of the viscous polymer from the mold and to form a channel therethrough. The remaining viscous polymer is cooled within the mold to form a cross-car beam.
WHEEL COMPONENT, METHOD OF MANUFACTURING, AND TOOL DEVICE
A wheel component, method, and tool device for a bicycle, including a plurality of integrally interconnected component parts, which form a spoked rim, wherein the rim and spokes are manufactured of a fibrous composite material by an injection molding process with fluid injection, wherein the liquefied fibrous composite material is injected into a cavity of a tool device, and a fluid is injected into the partially liquid fibrous composite material within the cavity to form at least one hollow space within the component part. A further component part forming a spoke, is manufactured by an injection molding process, wherein a mold core device for forming a hollow space within the spoke is disposed within a further cavity of the tool device. The fibrous composite material is injected into the further cavity. The mold core device is retracted from the fibrous composite material to form a cavity in the spoke.
POLYAMIDE MOULDING COMPOSITION AND MOULDED ARTICLE MADE THEREFROM
The present invention refers to a polyamide moulding composition consisting of the following components: (A) 30 to 79.7% by weight of at least one partially crystalline polyamide consisting of at least one diamine and at least one aromatic dicarboxylic acid, whereupon the at least one diamine has 4 to 20 carbon atoms and is selected from a group of diamines consisting of linear aliphatic diamines, branched aliphatic diamines, cycloaliphatic diamines and araliphatic diamines, (B) 0 to 10% by weight of at least one polyamide different from component (A) (C) 20 to 55% by weight of at least one fibrous reinforcing agent, (D) 0.2 to 2.0% by weight of nigrosine, (E) 0.1 to 3.0% by weight of at least one heat stabilizer, (F) 0 to 10% by weight of a at least one additive, whereby the entirety of components (A) to (F) add up to 100% by weight.
Fiber composite material component, and method for producing a fiber composite material component
A fiber composite material component has fiber bundles and a matrix of thermoplastic and/or thermosetting material. The fiber bundles are arranged such that they form a profile. Bracing structures are arranged between the fiber bundles. At least two fiber bundles are arranged in a skewed manner with respect to one another and at least one cavity is formed in the region of the intersection of the skewed fiber bundles. Furthermore, a method for producing a fiber composite material component having fiber bundles and a matrix of thermoplastic and/or thermosetting material, is provided.
Multi-mold systems using a runner
A runner for supplying resin to a cavity includes a sprue that is supplied resin from a nozzle of an injection molding machine, a first path formed in the runner, where the resin flows in the first path from the nozzle when the nozzle connects to the sprue, a first pin that moves to a first position to increase the size of the first path before the resin is supplied to the first path and moves to a second position to decrease the size of the first path before the nozzle separates from the sprue.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR MANUFACTURING BENT RESIN PIPE
A production method and device for a curved resin pipe via resin injection molding that uses an assist material. An inner curve part and/or an outer curve part of a pre-selected curved section of a cavity which is formed in a mold is configured from a temperature-adjustable piece section. After molten resin is injected into the cavity from an injection molding device, the temperature of the piece section is controlled by a control unit such that the inner curve part has a lower temperature than the outer curve part, and an assist material is injected into the cavity from an assist material injection unit and is passed through the cavity so as to form a pipe path. The resin remaining in the cavity is cured to produce a curved resin pipe.
METHOD OF MANUFACTURING A PLASTIC FRAME FOR A TWO-WHEELER
The invention relates to a method of manufacturing a plastic frame for a two-wheeler having at least one hollow space in the interior by means of plastic injection molding having a series of method steps, wherein a fluid is injected to displace the plastic core from the component cavity after the injection of a preferably thermoplastic plastic melt into a closed injection molding tool.
AUTOMATIC PORTABLE PLASTIC INJECTION MACHINE
In a plastic injection machine, a controller in electrical communication with a motorized clamp assembly, a heated cylinder barrel, a motorized pre-plasticizing assembly, an injection assembly, and an air mover and that executes an application that configures the controller to: (i) feed thermoplastic material into a heated cylinder barrel that is closed at one end by an injection valve; (ii) warm the heated cylinder barrel to thermoplastic material to a liquid state; (iii) actuate an injection motor to preload a spring biased plunger received within another end of the heated cylinder barrel, thereby pressurizing liquid thermoplastic material in the heating cylinder barrel to an injection pressure set value; (iv) actuate an injection valve motor to open the injection valve causing the pressurized liquid thermoplastic material to inject into a clamped mold; and (v) release a portion of the clamped mold to release the molded article.
