Curable pressure-sensitive adhesive strip based on vinylaromatic block copolymer
The invention relates to a pressure-sensitive adhesive strip containing at least one layer SK1 of a self-adhesive composition based on vinylaromatic block copolymer and containing tackifying resin, wherein the vinylaromatic block copolymer contains at least one polymer block A formed predominantly by polymerization of vinylaromatics, and simultaneously contains at least one polymer block B formed predominantly by polymerization of conjugated dienes, where the proportion of 1,2-bonded conjugated diene in the B block is less than 30% by weight, preferably less than 20% by weight.
The invention also relates to a pressure-sensitive adhesive strip of this kind, in which at least layer SK1 has been subjected to irradiation with electrons.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONTINUOUSLY MANUFACTURING CURED MEMBRANES
A method of continuously manufacturing a cured membrane includes continuously compounding and mixing a vulcanizable rubber composition in a mixing extruder while continuously removing gasses from the vulcanizable rubber composition during mixing with a vacuum. The vulcanizable rubber composition may be continuously extruded to form an extrudate, which may be continuously calendered to form a green membrane. The green membrane may be continuously cured, such as by a hot air conveyor curing system, to form a cured membrane.
Process for the insertion and conveying of labile additives in streams of molten material
The present invention relates to a process for the insertion and conveying of a labile additive, or a mixture thereof, in a transporting pipe, in which a main stream of molten material flows, said process characterized in that it incorporates said additive, or said mixture, in a portion of the pipe delimited by the main stream, according to one of the following alternative modes: a) in a longitudinal direction with respect to the flow direction of the main stream of molten material, or b) in a transversal direction with respect to the flow direction of the main stream of. molten material, or c) according to a composition of the longitudinal (a) and transversal (b) mode, thus forming a resulting stream which keeps the labile additives segregated from the main stream of molten material.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR EXTRUDING RUBBER MIXTURES
An extrusion apparatus intended for the manufacture of a coextruded profiled element P for tyres, produced from rubber compounds of various compositions, comprises a profiling device (30) arranged at the outlet of at least two flow channels (34, 35) for rubbery compounds of different composition. The said channels receive the compounds from positive-displacement contrarotating twin-screw extruders (10, 20), the screw flights interpenetrating and having conjugated profiles.
TRACKING SYSTEM FOR PLASTIC PIPE
There is provided a plastic cylindrical pipe including a nonconductive wall, wherein the wall includes a filler that is either electrically conductive or magnetic.

DEVICE AND METHOD FOR PROCESSING THERMOPLASTIC PLASTIC HAVING A BLOWING DEVICE FOR A CONVEYING SCREW
A device (1a . . . 1i) for processing thermoplastic plastic is described, comprising a storage container (2) for receiving pieces of plastic particles or a conveying line (14) for conveying the pieces of plastic particles, and a conveying screw (3) following the storage container (2)/the conveying line (14) at a transfer opening (A). The device (1a . . . 1i) also comprises an extruder (4) following the conveying screw (3) and an air outlet (7) arranged opposite the transfer opening (A) and directed at this opening. A method for operating the device (1a . . . 1i) is also described, in which an air stream is aligned with the transfer opening (A). The strength and/or the direction of the air stream is adjusted or controlled as a function of a load on the extruder (4).
FILM PRODUCING APPARATUS AND METHOD OF PRODUCING FILM
The present invention provides a film producing apparatus and a method of producing a film both of which reduce the cost of producing a film. A film producing apparatus includes a first plasticizer collecting section and a second plasticizer collecting section each of which collects a portion of a film-forming plasticizer which portion has been separated from the film.
Side feeder with rearwards ventilation
Device for lateral flow charging of an extruder in which material is fed to at least one conveyor screw disposed in an extruder housing. The material contains gaseous concomitant materials, wherein a degassing housing for receiving an air flow is disposed on the extruder housing, which air flow acts in the extruder housing and which is directed contrary to the conveying direction of the conveyor screw.
TREATMENT SYSTEM FOR PLASTIC MATERIAL
A treatment system for plastic material includes a feeding device, a treatment unit, and a plasticizing device arranged downstream thereof. The treatment unit has a comminuting device and a conveying device which are received in a housing. An outlet opening is arranged in an end region of a conveying section of the conveying device. The plasticizing device has an extruder screw which is received in an extruder housing. The extruder housing is equipped with a filling opening which is arranged so as to directly adjoin the outlet opening arranged in the housing. In the region of the outlet opening, the conveying device has a circulating direction which runs in the opposite direction of the conveying direction of the extruder screw.
