Extrusion method
A method is provided for producing solid cellulose filaments or films from a solution of cellulose, NMMO (N-methylmorpholine-N-oxide) and water, including pressure-extruding the solution by one or more extrusion openings and by solidifying the filaments or films in a precipitation bath. The solution is guided between the extrusion opening and the precipitation bath by an air gap, the temperature of the solution on the extrusion opening being lower than 105 C. and the pressure difference in the air gap between the pressure of the solution immediately prior to extrusion and after extrusion is between 8 and 40 bar.
EXTRUDED WAX MELT AND METHOD OF PRODUCING SAME
A wax melt blank is produced with an extrusion process and intended to later be cut to length into individual wax melts. The wax melt blank includes at least about fifty percent by weight of wax, a fragrance, and up to about fifty percent by weight of a filler. The wax, the fragrance, and the filler are homogeneously dispersed within the wax melt blank.

A method for controlling the temperature of a polymer melt in an extrusion tool includes flowing the polymer melt via at least one flow channel from an input to an output and around at least one temperature-control element in the at least one flow channel. The temperature control element includes a plurality of temperature control units. The temperature of the polymer melt flowing around the temperature-control element is controlled by individually controlling each of the temperature-control units so as to vary a degree of temperature control of the temperature-control element such that a degree of temperature control is controllable to be the same or different at locations throughout the temperature control-element.

A nozzle is configured to receive and melt said melt-substrate and arranged to be connected to the first open end of the barrel The pen further includes a channel inside the barrel with a first opening adjacent and aligned with the opening in the barrel for receiving said melt-substrate and a second opening, opposite to said first opening, adjacent to the nozzle. A transport mechanism has a rotatable transport member which is, in use, in contact with the melt-substrate for moving the melt-substrate through towards the nozzle.

The invention relates to an extrusion device and an extrusion method for the extrusion of plastic profiles, in particular a nozzle plate, comprising at least one flow channel for plastic melt. At least one wall region of the flow channel can be temperature controlled in a targeted manner with a local temperature control device for setting the flow speed of the plastic melt.

Exemplary pressurization and coating systems, methods, and apparatuses are described herein. In certain embodiments, pressurization systems, methods, and apparatuses are used in conjunction with coating systems, methods, and apparatuses to control pressure about a substrate after a coating material is applied to a surface of the substrate. An exemplary system includes a die tool configured to apply a coating material to a substrate passing through the die tool and a pressurization apparatus attached to the die tool and forming a pressurization chamber. The pressurization apparatus is configured to receive the substrate from the die tool and control pressure about the substrate in the pressurization chamber. In certain embodiments, the die tool forms a coating chamber and is configured to apply the coating material on at least one surface of the substrate in the coating chamber. In other embodiments, the pressurization chamber further includes one or more sprayers which are configured to apply a coolant to one or more outer surfaces of the coated substrate.

METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING IMITATION WOOD
The present invention provides a method for manufacturing an imitation wood and is featured by adjusting the temperature of a discharge outlet before or during conveyance of thermoplastic elastomers in a helical section of a screw extruder to be lower than the temperature of a tail end of the helical section, such that the viscosity of the thermoplastic elastomers in the discharge outlet increases and the flow velocity reduces at the outlet during the discharge process at the discharge outlet. Thus, the thermoplastic elastomers flow in a direction opposite to the discharge direction and rub, resulting in marks of back-flow and rubbing. During the process of back-flow and rubbing, the plastics will be pulled and break along the rubber elastomers and become filament-like, thereby generating filaments similar to wood. Then, the foaming blank material is squeezed out of the discharge outlet and is forced into a molding machine to proceed with planarity trimming, and the output material is cooled with a preset cold-bath tank of the molding machine, providing adjustment of different densities of imitation wood, such that the imitation wood produced by the present invention has high simulation of wood.
