METHOD OF MANUFACTURING A SILICONE MEDICAL BALLOON
A method of forming a balloon for a medical device is provided including extruding a cylindrical tube of silicone material, partially curing the cylindrical tube, inflating the cylindrical tube, and fully curing the balloon. The cylindrical tube is partially cured by exposing the cylindrical tube to a first ultraviolet light source. The cylindrical tube is inflated within a mold to form the balloon. The balloon is fully cured by exposing the balloon to a second ultraviolet light source.
Carrying Case
A tool case with single and double wall sections, the double wall sections extend from one edge or from a corner of part of the case and are defined by a cut line, the cut line changes in height as the double wall sections have contours to conform to the tool to be held. The double wall sections may include supporting portions which are sections where the inner surfaces of the two walls are fused or welded together to create a support which transfers load from the tool between the two walls of the double wall section. In certain aspects, the cut line defines a large internal area of single wall as compared to the overall perimeter of the case or case half.
HALF-MOULD HAVING A CYLINDRICAL ASSEMBLY FACE AND PRODUCTION METHOD
The invention relates to a half-mold comprising a joint face; an opposing assembly face), where the longitudinal cross-section of the assembly face is in the form of an arc of a circle centered on a reference axis. The reference axis is offset longitudinally towards the front relative to the joint face. The invention also concerns a molding assembly, a molding unit and a forming facility comprising such half-molds. The invention also concerns a method for producing such half-molds and a method for producing a surface for receiving such half-molds.
Air root pruning container for growing a plant
A plant container has a base and a sidewall upwardly extending from the base. The sidewall includes stepped sidewall sections that each include a plurality of generally vertical sidewall panels having successively larger cross-sectional dimensions with distance from the base and horizontal ledges extending between an upper edge of an adjacent lower one of the sidewall panels and a lower edge of an adjacent upper one of the sidewall panels. The sidewall further includes a plurality of ribs, where each rib is formed between two of the stepped sidewall sections and extends inwardly across the ledges of the two stepped sidewall sections. Each rib has two legs that extend apart to form an outwardly-directed open channel. Holes are formed in the sidewall for air root pruning, where each hole is formed directly between a ledge and a leg of one of the ribs.
Container comprising an arched base having stiffening bosses distributed in interlaced annular bands
Disclosed is a container made of plastic material including a body extending along a longitudinal axis between an opening and a base, the base having: a seat forming a setting plane for the container; a concave arch, rotational around the longitudinal axis and extending from the vicinity of the seat to an amorphous central zone; and stiffening bosses that protrude from the concave arch and that extend radially to the interior of the arch. The stiffening bosses are angularly spaced from one another by alternating first bosses and second bosses that are distributed along: a first annular band in which the first bosses extend; and a third annular band in which the second bosses extend.
Manufacturing method of pressure container comprising in-mold label and three-dimensional shape
A method of manufacturing a pressure container including an in-mold label and a three-dimensional (3D) portion includes heating molds with a 3D groove formed therein to correspond to a 3D portion to be formed on a surface of the pressure container, separating the molds, attaching a label to an internal surface of the molds to allow at least a portion of the label to cover the 3D groove, positioning a pre-form of the pressure container in a cavity of the molds, closing the molds and injecting air into the pre-form at pressure in a specific range through a first route in a specific pressure range and expanding the pre-form, and three-dimensionally deforming a label attached to a surface of the pre-form to correspond to the 3D groove by air pressure along with the surface of the expanded pre-form while the expanded pre-form and the label are attached.
Three-piece mold device, system, and method for manufacturing of connectable beverage bottle
A system for molding includes: right and left upper mold portions; and a lower mold portion, such that the right and left upper mold portions are positionable side by side and the lower mold portion is positionable between lower ends of the right and left upper mold portions to form an entire molding cavity for blow molding a connectable beverage bottle, such that the lower mold portion is vertically downward removable and the right and left upper mold portions are laterally removable after blow molding of the connectable beverage bottle. Also disclosed is a method of molding, including: preparing blow pin, assembling mold components, performing blow molding, removing blow pin, disassembling mold components, and extracting the connectable beverage bottle.
BLOW MOLDED PLASTIC CONTAINER WITH INTEGRATED SPOUT
Method of making a blow-molded plastic container comprises forming a hollow blow-molded article comprising a main body portion defining an interior space, a finish portion defining a mouth in fluid communication with the interior space, the finish portion having a substantially cylindrical circumferential wall of generally uniform thickness surrounding the mouth, the circumferential wall having an upper edge with a perimeter flange and a pair of tabs projecting radially inward from the circumferential wall, the pair of tabs defining a spout therebetween, and a moil portion extending from the perimeter flange in a direction opposite the main body portion. Method further includes inflating the plastic material within the mold cavity to form the hollow blow-molded article and removing the moil portion from the perimeter flange. Blow-molded plastic container having a finish portion with directional pour spout and blow-molded article comprising container and moil portion also disclosed.
HOT FILL CONTAINER HAVING SUPERIOR CRUSH RESISTANCE
A hot fill plastic container has a dome portion with a convex outer surface that defines a maximum outer diameter of the container so as to extend outwardly beyond a main body portion of the container. The generally egg-shaped dome portion enhances the crush resistance of the dome and provides a point of contact between containers when they are placed adjacent to one another. A circumferential stiffening groove may be provided near a lower end of the dome portion.
BLOW MOLDED ARTICLE WITH DEBOSSING
A blow molded multilayer article having a hollow body defined by a wall comprising at least three layers. The wall has a first Layer A comprising an outer surface of the wall, a second Layer A comprising the inner surface of the wall and a Layer B between the first and second Layer As. The B layer can contain an effect pigment and/or an opacifying pigment and the Layer As can be transparent. The wall contains a deboss element.
